I'm so sorry, I know yoga with Adrienne as I have followed some of her videos...is there a specific programme you guys are following?

Hope you don't mind me jumping on this thread?

IntendingWell · 28/02/2022 17:50

I'm also jumping on!

BestIsWest · 28/02/2022 19:16

Joining too. Thanks.

Sooverthemill · 28/02/2022 19:22

@bluebikehelmet yes we are carrying on with her January 2022 30 day challenge 'move'. We all did in in January, repeated it in February and have all found it really has made improvements ( ability to hold poses, do poses, flexibility to etc) so we are doing it again in March which conveniently has 30 days. here is link to day 1 on YouTube

It's a nice friendly group, do join us

@IntendingWell welcome

Thank you I'll do my best. I'm training to be a yoga teacher and as such I practice most days as well as home educating but I reckon I can do this most days.

Tulipomania · 28/02/2022 19:57

place mark

Sooverthemill · 28/02/2022 20:34

@IntendingWell ooh that's great. I practice every day too always at home. I would love to train to teach yoga.

I'd highly recommend it, it's amazing Smile

guinnessguzzler · 28/02/2022 21:21

Ooh, exciting! New thread and new people too, fabulous! Looking forward to getting started again Grin

UnaOfStormhold · 28/02/2022 21:49

Day 15 done, nice to be back.

CeeCeeDeeBee · 28/02/2022 21:50

Signing in!

Shinyandnew2022 · 28/02/2022 23:56

Thanks @Sooverthemill for the new thread .
Can't wait to start round 3 and see what more progress there is to be made.
Welcome to new joiners too.
The more the merrier .
Honoured to have a training yoga teacher in our midst - glad you can't see me in action though !

Rummikub · 01/03/2022 00:06

Thanks @Sooverthemill

I’m toying with the idea of getting up earlier. I’ve really noticed a decline in my mood and mental health since I’ve skipped so many days

@IntendingWell
This is exciting to have you here!

Welcome to the other new comers too.
Enjoy the journey! (Sorry to be cheesy😬)

IntendingWell · 01/03/2022 07:19

Thanks for the welcomes Smile I can't wait to get started. Adrienne's videos used to be my goto yoga practice so it will be nice to go back to her after a few years.

Thanks!

Sooverthemill · 01/03/2022 09:05

So I've done day 1 for the third time! Trying to move intentionally and really listen to her directions rather than powering through. Obviously I loved it.

Shannith · 01/03/2022 12:03

Hurrah! @Tulipomania I'd definitely recommend joining. I've been doing yoga with Adrienne videos for ages but it's been such fun doing to same ones and joining in the thread.

I feel less bad about falling over when she demands that I stand in one leg and wriggle about and share the joys of a plank managed or a down dog that actually looks like a down dog.

I've only done 30 days and I can feel a pretty significant difference in my mobility, flexibility and ability to do yoga with swearing under my breath. Which I believe is the point of it.

Shannith · 01/03/2022 12:07

Looking forward to starting at day 1.

I did a couple of my normal (non move) practices last week and wow - everything was much easier. Splendid

BestIsWest · 01/03/2022 16:38

Day 1 done. Much harder than I remember. I’m going to continue to use the blocks for downward dog and plank though March but I’m practicing plank without blocks after every session - up to 10 seconds now.

Feel a lovely glow now.

I might do Day 30 later just for closure.

CharlieBubbles88 · 01/03/2022 16:47

Hi all, will you be doing this or similar every month? I did move and it really got me back into yoga so much so I've now planned my week of Adriene videos. 30 minutes in the morning, 60 in the evening. While the 30 challenges take the headache out of working out which video to do, the lengths don't always suit my needs

@IntendingWell I've been toying with the idea of training, more for myself than anything else. Any advice/tips/right direction you can point me in?

Sorry for the derail!
