I'm definitely going to 're-move'. Haven't checked out day 30 yet and am praying it isn't self practice...

namechange5575 · 31/01/2022 10:41

Definitely up for doing Move again, I do it first thing do I need it to be short before school drop off and work. Thanks for keeping it going :)

changeling86 · 31/01/2022 10:44

Ooh what are people doing? Are you going to do move again from the beginning?

mumsiedarlingrevolta · 31/01/2022 11:13

Hello new thread Grin

@Sooverthemill I have done a 30 day before (pre pandemic) so can't remember Day 30? why don't you like it?

I am def up for Move again-first time really felt post Christmas fat, drunk and unfit when I started, really keen to see how far we have come!!!

Lightningrain · 31/01/2022 12:52

Oh, hello new thread! I didn’t realise so have just posted on the old one.

I’m currently trying to get motivated to have a go at day 30 during my lunch hour.

CeibaTree · 31/01/2022 13:26

I'm up for doing Move again too :) I've still got day 29 and day 30 to do, so I may be a day or so behind!

guinnessguzzler · 31/01/2022 13:33

A fabulous new thread, thanks @Sooverthemill Smile

I'm going to Move again, looking forward to seeing progress. Bring on Day 6 (and 27!)!

guinnessguzzler · 31/01/2022 13:34

@Lightningrain Did you manage Day 30 in the end?

UnaOfStormhold · 31/01/2022 14:08
mumsiedarlingrevolta · 31/01/2022 14:27

@guinnessguzzler
haha did you see on other thread I also posted about re-visiting day 6??

I started Day 30 probably with a bad attitude and ended up abandoning part way through and going and randomly re-visiting day 11

It's not that I couldn't do it-I felt I enjoyed it so much less and got so much less out of it so I went with "Do what feels good" and feel very happy!

Ready to start Day 1 tomorrow and again-thanks for new thread!!

tootyfruitypickle · 31/01/2022 15:12

Back in!

WhereIsMyGlasses · 31/01/2022 15:16

Can I join please? I started Move late so have been doing two x 5 days per week. Still have days 28 to 31 to do so going to start February's and double up with the remaining Move days until I'm back on track. I tend to not do it on weekends so my plan is to do a double session on twice per week. That's the plan!

cungryhow · 31/01/2022 16:33

I’m up for move again, been my favourite by a long shot!

Lightningrain · 31/01/2022 16:33

@guinnessguzzler I did do it but felt like I ran out of things to do before I was 20 minutes in. I ended up spending what seemed like ages doing pigeon and then noticed Adrienne was doing some bicycle crunches so copied her.

I definitely prefer having the guidance there but I’m glad I had a go. I realised I’ve remembered more than I thought after doing the full 30 days and could probably do my own routine if I didn’t have access to YouTube for any reason.

guinnessguzzler · 31/01/2022 16:45

Grin Yes, I started copying her at about that point too. The previous time I managed about two minutes and then just copied her!

Yes @mumsiedarlingrevolta I think that means six-pack Sunday for us this week Grin

Nichola2310 · 31/01/2022 16:50

I didn't do Jan at all but saw the thread, delighted to see a thread for February, hopefully it will motivate me!

Sooverthemill · 31/01/2022 16:57

Well I’m not in charge but I think I’d like to do Move again!

The thing I don’t like about day 30 is it’s free form and I like guidance. I wish she would do a silent and a voiceover version. But lots of people like it I know

Shannith · 31/01/2022 17:18

Oh could I join please? I do one or two Adrienne videos each day and have done since lockdown but I've never followed one of her programs (mostly because I'm usually trying to fix something specific like my dodgy upper back).

If you do move again, I'd love to do it along with you.

I live Adrienne - she's made me able to ride again (horses).

@Sooverthemill I'm not stalking you! I just saw the thread title.

changeling86 · 31/01/2022 17:23

I was thinking of doing the January 21 set.

I don't remember that very well.

namechange5575 · 31/01/2022 18:55

So how about either
a) we follow the Day videos to be the same date as the actual date, so Day 2 on 2 Feb (but then choose your own on 1st Feb, and double up to get Day 29 in there somewhere?)
Or b) start Day 2 on 1st Feb?
Or c) something else?
Or d) choose your own thing?

Jumbojem · 31/01/2022 19:20

I'm torn between doing one of her other 30 day ones, restarting Move (the shorter duration is appreciated!) or try the calendar. I want to avoid what I used to do which was just pick one which either was the right duration or was aimed at the ailment I was trying to fix (lower back, hips) as I don't think that gave enough variety and truth be told I just repeated a lot of easier ones.
I won't be doing it daily though as some days were impossible and going back to the office a few days is going to make it harder still!
Thinking about rewarding myself with a better yoga mat (mine is years old thin and cheap from Argos). Any recommendations for a not ridiculous priced one, maybe £30-40?

Sooverthemill · 31/01/2022 19:30

I don't mind what we do in terms of which of the 30 days ( I think the very first 30 days of yoga was around the same lengths if that helps) but checking in on here definitely helps. I think I will do MOVE again because I saw the benefits and every day I saw how short it was and knew I could fit that in iyswim

(Waves to @Shannith - YWA saved my back and hips. When DD was first ill I had to carry her to the loo and back and carry her downstairs to get to car until we got help.At 14 she was taller than me! Yoga helped)

Thanks for the new thread!

Yeah i think Move again for Feb. Then maybe another for March... 😬

As another poster eloquently put it I felt the same post xmas lardiness is I would like to see how different it feels second time around.

It just feels like such a positive thing to do.

My dd has noticed I’m calmer too.
