Who's signed up? I've done these every year since 2016 and I can't wait! Although my health has been poor this year I've managed to practice at home almost every day. I love the kickstart these give my year

I've caught up, just need to squeeze in day 27 today.

I'll be starting again on day 30 because 1) (spoiler alert) I hate day 30. I need to be guided otherwise I'll just lie down and have a nap. And 2) there are only 28 days in Feb so doing 29 days again starting 21st Jan brings me neatly to the end of the month!

Rummikub · 28/01/2022 13:18

Day 23 soften done today
I liked this one.
Hand frog?! That I couldn’t do properly but could feel the stretch.
Crossing ankles reminded my abs to work!

Rummikub · 28/01/2022 13:19

Oh exciting news I tried cobra properly today! Instead of raising from my elbows I straightened my arms! Yay to progress!

misskatamari · 28/01/2022 14:53

I've completely fallen off the thread as caught covid after day 12/13. I'm a lot better but still really tired, so not going to jump back in. Does anyone know which of her previous 30days would be a good place to maybe restart instead? I was doing well at Move but I was finding it a challenge, so I think maybe something a bit easier to work through, and then coming back to move, might be my best bet. I know lots of people said this was harder than previous years.

Any tips greatly appreciated! I hope you're all doing well x

anothersmahedmug · 28/01/2022 16:30

A lot of the earlier ones ( home if I remember rightly ) go a bit slower so you have time to come out rest ( hit pause if you want ) and go back in without everything having moved on too much

I'm way behind you all for various reasons but still having fun

UnaOfStormhold · 28/01/2022 17:27

@misskatamari you could try Breathe - that has a lot of just sitting breathing at the start so is quite gentle.

tootyfruitypickle · 28/01/2022 18:05

@guinnessguzzler hardest adriene session I've done ever ! But I'd have given up before this 30 days so feeling v pleased with myself .
At one point I was 'make it stop - another plank ?!!'

cungryhow · 28/01/2022 18:14

Been freezing all day, day 27 warmed me right up!

Weepingwillows12 · 28/01/2022 19:13

I did day 23 today instead of yesterday as planned. I really liked it. I find I can hold a pose longer if I am allowed to move slightly plus I love the stretchy ones.

I can hold downward dog longer now but it's so tiring. My dream end game is one day finding it a rest pose like some of you. Would rather do boat or abs work than down dog which is annoying when it's in every single session 😁

Lightningrain · 28/01/2022 20:13

I did day 27 on my lunch hour. It was the hardest I’ve ever done but I was pleased to get through it. I actually enjoyed it more than yesterday’s.

I still can’t do the twisting of the wrists so my hands face towards me on all fours. It feels unnatural with a horrible pulling sensation which in turn makes me feel squeamish.

Shinyandnew2022 · 28/01/2022 21:17

Did day 27 today reassured to see it wasn't just me that found it hard !
I mostly still enjoyed it though and honestly can't believe how much stronger I feel.
This thread may have just changed my life !

rifling · 28/01/2022 21:39

I don't think I'll ever find it restful. I'll settle for not painful.

Jumbojem · 28/01/2022 22:50

Day 27 Shock I was behind so did day 25,26 and 27 tonight. Was already fatigued and debating whether to leave Day 27 until tomorrow. My core is weak so I gave up on a lot of the knee to nose. I definitely need to keep revisiting these core ones. Hoping time and consistency will lead to improvement.
I'm so excited I've made it this far and totally up for making it to day 30!

There was some of that wrist twisting on day 23- I find it too hard to do I’m hoping that by redoing Move when this is done that I’ll have improved so it doesn’t feel as unnatural!
rifling · 29/01/2022 08:39

I'm 2 days behind and have just discovered thst I can't do horizon. Not even close!

UnaOfStormhold · 29/01/2022 08:56

With the wrist twisting I go only as far round as I comfortably can and make the tiniest movements. I think Adriene has exceptionally flexible arms and what is right for her is a way off what is right for others.

Sooverthemill · 29/01/2022 08:57

Just done day 27. Hmm that was tough. I knew it would be when she foolishly said 'don't be intimidated by todays session'. And it was bloody hard. Good but hard

@misskatamari of all her 30 days previously. Try true, dedicate, home. Though I think Revolution is my favourite

Just finished doing 27 and 28 back to back and they went quite well together in that order. I actually really enjoyed 27 - it was hard but in a good way! And then 28 was nice respite and relax time. I'm back on track now to finish on time

guinnessguzzler · 29/01/2022 10:55

Oh good, looking forward to Day 28 now then.

Yes, @Sooverthemill I was concerned when I heard those words at the start of Day 27 Grin

RagzRebooted · 29/01/2022 11:26

Sneaking back in after 5 days off. Have blood Monday so couldn't do it then. Had a really bad back Tuesday to Thursday and yesterday I was shattered and fell asleep!
Enjoyed day 23 this morning and will try do 24 tonight.

ChocAuVin · 29/01/2022 11:59

Have just done day 27. Loved knowing that at this point I was able to rise to the challenge whereas on day 1 I’d have been on the floor in a heap Smile

Feeling stronger, and breathing better throughout the day. So grateful to that woman for existing!

Rummikub · 29/01/2022 13:12

Just did day 24. I laughed when she did floating table then said send your right leg back too. And collapsed. I asked dd if she could do it and she could! Oh to be young!

angerelle · 29/01/2022 13:44

I've just done day 27 and gave up in parts, it was really hard, but I did finish it and now I feel really good! Mustn't ruin it now by bowing my head to stare at my phone for ages...

mumsiedarlingrevolta · 29/01/2022 14:27

@ChocAuVin I felt exactly the same-loved day 27 and def felt it showed progress.

I was behind and did 27 and 28 together-really glad I did.

I think 28 on it's own might be a bit meh but was perfect to stretch out after 27.

I'm def up for another go. I see you Day 6!!!
