Who's signed up? I've done these every year since 2016 and I can't wait! Although my health has been poor this year I've managed to practice at home almost every day. I love the kickstart these give my year

It's remarkable the difference shorter videos make isn't it .
Day 24 was good for me too!

mumsiedarlingrevolta · 25/01/2022 19:18

So glad I loved Day 24-

will admit to shaking legs at the end but really nice flow to the day

itssquidstella · 25/01/2022 19:44

I’m two days behind now! Will try to get day 23 done this evening and catch up with myself on Friday.

Sooverthemill · 25/01/2022 20:54

@hoorayandupsherises the other years are also lovely but some of them are longer sessions. You can look on her website at each of the previous years' challenges and see which ones you fancy. I loved them all but this year it helps being 30 minutes or less!

Also enjoyed day 24 here.
Completely agree that knowing they are less than 30 minutes is a great help and removes any barriers to fitting it in.
I did find todays quite hard which I will say must be in part the covid as I am lacking energy- but I also found the balancing quite tricky .
I have been browsing the shop again tonight has anyone ordered and received anything yet or is it too soon ?

LizziesTwin · 25/01/2022 21:34

About to start today’s, a bit late but I’m determined to do them on the day, I want to keep up this year.

CeeCeeDeeBee · 25/01/2022 22:14

Today's balancing flow was a KILLER! I made it through but definitely wobbled a lot.

I've received my tops from the merch shop. Ordered Wednesday (I think) and got them Saturday.

Rummikub · 25/01/2022 23:08

Just did day 21
After 7 mins I had to check how much longer
And was pleased to see it was a short session!
I found it hard!

BalancingStick · 25/01/2022 23:25

I'm back to being a day behind. My plans for doubling up today got scuppered. I did day 23 this evening. It was what I needed and really helped with some major irritation that I had today. The back twist was particularly spectacular as my spine clicked and clunked on the first side!

2fallsfromSSA · 25/01/2022 23:39

Wasn't too sure about all the swaying in day 23. Not my favourite session but got through it.

Sooverthemill · 26/01/2022 08:33

Day 24 and omg I didn't like this one much! I confess I forwarded through a bit as I absolutely couldn't do the balance on my left leg ( I tried and tried but it got annoying). Right leg fine. Obviously I need practice

Also, popped up on my YouTube feed which is a review of all Adrienne's 30 day challenges up to and including 2021.

I didn’t enjoy day 24 yesterday.

I wasn’t feeling it at all but I thought I’d feel better afterwards (I did, but I really didn’t enjoy all the balancing on one leg and just felt distracted). I feel a bit more motivated today so hoping day 25 will be a good one.

Ooh, fascinating, will have to give that a watch later, thanks!
guinnessguzzler · 26/01/2022 12:16

Just checking in now after Day 25. I found this a really nice, solid session with a few interesting breath techniques.

Btw, as I have progressed and can now nearly get my heels down in downward facing dog, I can tell that one heel comes a fair bit lower than the other ie the right heel pretty much touches the mat but the left doesn't. Does anyone else find this? Is there something I should do to work on my left leg? Is it that I'm doing it a bit wonky? Or is it likely just the way my body is?

Sooverthemill · 26/01/2022 18:50

@guinnessguzzler I expect it's just your body, I can do things in one side better than on the other. But I will never ever get my heels down in DWD

@Rummikub I did say 20 and 21 today! I was glad day 21 was so short! I can confirm there are definitely some stomach muscles there 😆

namechange5575 · 26/01/2022 20:19

I can barely get my hips up in downward dog! I've got really tight hamstrings. Did day 24 first thing - I'm still finding them quite hard but I'm enjoying the challenge mostly, and very much getting on board with the ideas that I'm showing up for myself, and that all this work can only be good for me, even if I'm not very strong or good at it yet.

Shinyandnew2022 · 26/01/2022 20:28

Absolutely loved day 25 !
This was largely because I feel much less like I have Covid today so was generally stronger and more mobile.
I absolutely love pigeon .
Can't really remember what else was in it but It was mostly all doable and although I still have to lug my limbs around the mat during transitions I can tell I am getting better.
I also found an old yoga top that doesn't fall down into my
Face in down dog so that was
Better too!

BalancingStick · 26/01/2022 22:01

Did day 24 today. Still a day behind. Found 24 ok. Not my favourite so far but I turned up and got it done.

😂
Mine are staying hidden
But I think I can feel a waist returning

I’m the same It’s such a simple idea but I think oh ok yes I have showed up and that can o my lead to good things
Sooverthemill · 27/01/2022 06:16

@Rummikub totally with you there and wanting to carry it on next month

@Sooverthemill

Oo brilliant

I think there’s a few of us who would like to.

Are going back to day 1 of move on day 31 for ease?

I didn’t have time for a full session this morning but still did some of the positions from day 21.

Gufo · 27/01/2022 08:09

Still here and still yoga-ing but can't log in to MN on my phone :(

I'm a couple of days behind and just completed Day 21 Connect (aka Ab Killer) and Day 22 Courage which is up there with Day 5 as one of my faves. I've done 2 real life classes, so technically only missed yoga in January on 2 or 3 days - can't see myself catching up to finish on the 31st but will definitely finish the programme.

My feet are nearer the mat than they ever have been in DDog, but my transitions are still NOTHING like Adriene's as I hoof my foot into place with my hands every time! Definitely feel stronger - and happier too.
