NHS Fife tries to silence nurse - Sandie Peggie vs NHS Fife Health Board - thread #2

Sandie Peggie, a nurse at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy (VH), has brought claims in the employment tribunal against her employer; Fife Health Board (the Board) and another employee, Dr B Upton. Ms Peggie’s claims are of sexual harassment, harassment related to a protected belief, indirect discrimination and victimisation. Dr Upton claims to be a transwoman, that is observed as male at birth but asserting a female gender identity.

The Employment Tribunal hearing started on Monday 3 January 2025 and is expected to continue for 2 weeks.

I’m not a trans person or trans activist but I believe trans people exist and I think it’s really degrading to take someone to court for being trans and identifying as trans, presumably no one is naked, yes they’re biologically male but I can imagine why it’s deeply painful to be constantly reminded of the fact that they’re not a woman if that’s what they believe they are

I've got several biology degrees, please roll me out. I'm happy to testify sex is biological fact and gender is not. All mammals have two sexes and sex matters. No quantifiable evidence of gender in any other mammals .

How could the Judge find the right numbered page, does he have a mathematician degree?

Well if they just used the gender neutral facilities they wouldn't be reminded by subjecting women to harm would they? It's up to them to go somewhere they know they'll be breaching women's consent and boundaries and have this affect.
