NHS Fife tries to silence nurse - Sandie Peggie vs NHS Fife Health Board - thread #2

Sandie Peggie, a nurse at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy (VH), has brought claims in the employment tribunal against her employer; Fife Health Board (the Board) and another employee, Dr B Upton. Ms Peggie’s claims are of sexual harassment, harassment related to a protected belief, indirect discrimination and victimisation. Dr Upton claims to be a transwoman, that is observed as male at birth but asserting a female gender identity.

The Employment Tribunal hearing started on Monday 3 January 2025 and is expected to continue for 2 weeks.

Maya is the claimant witness. The defence are free to cross examine her but it may not do their case any favours to do so.

Didn’t someone mention SP’s DH is also on the witness list? I hope they get to him and finish with him today. SP will need his support but won’t be able to discuss the trial with him until he has been done.

I hate the way that JR asks the same question over and over again - is she trying to prompt a favourable answer, emphasise a point, or just waste time.?

This is back to the Australian case where they said Helen Joyce's background didn't qualify her to open a can of soup.

Sex matters in agriculture. If the genderists were in charge they'd be too busy asking how the bull identifies to grow any food.

I would also imagine it helps with identifying bullshit.
