Trans activists have just disrupted the annual Conference being held by LGB Alliance by releasing insects in the main hall.

These nasty individuals who seek to disrupt a peaceful conference of lesbian and gay people show themselves up to be the real bigots.

I'd have expected them to be vegans, given how progressive they seem to be, but obviously animal cruelty means nothing to them.

How absolutely weird. Absolutely unhinged behaviour.

No. The insects were crickets, it would seem. One tweet says six activists have been arrested, but I don't know if this is true.

Like I said on the other thread, if they were puberty blocked their brains and bodies will be childlike, while their chronological age might be older.

Well, I'm not some kind of cricket expert but generally the crickets sold in pet shops aren't the home grown variety. They look like the crickets that my ds gets for his lizard, which come in a box with a warning not to release them. I'm sure somebody out there knows for sure.

Whilst I know these bugs would be sold as food and wouldn't have long or happy lives anyway, there's something particularly grim and disturbing about buying and releasing them to die like this.

I would say it does come under hate crime legislation but I am certain we will hear all kinds of excuses as to why it doesn't.
