😂
Feeling better, Boiled? that morning cuppa and a few dozen Tylenol obviously did the trick!😄

Much better! I'll feel even better once I've had a nice head massage. I'm trying to decide which would do a better one a cat or a quokka? Gerbils would require more than one So I'm discounting them

DeanElderberry · 02/10/2024 10:17

I wonder what kind of pawprints a chorus line of dancing gerbils would leave?

EdithStourton · 02/10/2024 10:18

Cats have nasty claws, Boiled, though your carapace might protect you.

I'm imagining Alison watching the dashing Frenchmen with their magnetic nipples as the cats consider their options for when the concrete goes down.

Boiledbeetle · 02/10/2024 10:08

Alison's concrete later today

Indeedy. We have 9 at the moment that live in the garden. 3 of them were left on the terrace by their mum so think of it as their home.

News just in - they need a 15 day curing time after the concrete arrives before the tiles can go down so I've now got 3 weeks of keeping concrete relatively dry and keeping cats up the top of the garden.

JOY OF JOYS!

AlisonDonut · 02/10/2024 10:23

I could still be here waiting in March if the weather doesn't sort itself out.

lcakethereforeIam · 02/10/2024 11:08

Are you not tempted to write or draw something on it? I don't think I could control myself.

I worked in construction for 14 long long years. That impulse went a long time ago!

I might pop TOP TERF in there somewhere though. Or TERFS RULE OK.

lcakethereforeIam · 02/10/2024 11:21

Definitely write something terfy, I imagine in years...centuries time someone coming across it and thinking 'wtf!?'.

I wonder what kind of pawprints a chorus line of dancing gerbils would leave?Taken out of context, that is a hilarious what-are-you-smoking kind of sentence! 😂
Not that the context is any more rational, mind you.

lcakethereforeIam · 02/10/2024 12:23

The foot prints of a mouse chorus line. Hilarious and disturbing.

I'm thinking 'The TERFS were right'

I have little alphabetti spaghetti that I stick into clay that gets burnt out in the firing...I will be able to wash it out after a fortnight the day before they return.

Cats - being dicks since Roman times.

Concrete has to be signed off by a cat or dog, it's an inviolable rule.

Bugger, bugger, bugger, bugger, bugger.

The results of my blood tests are back, and I have type 2 diabetes. No more Tunnock’s for me.

It was only a matter of time, given my obesity, and I know it is my own fault, but it is still a nasty blow.

Oh Woley, I am sorry. Its a shock, isn't it? DH has recently been diagnosed and we're negotiating that road too. Hang on in there, DM me if you want you and huge hugs.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 02/10/2024 16:15

What happens next, do you know yet or are they at the letting you know and you now have to go see someone?

<quietly opens SDTG's cupboard whilst she's filling the kettle and removes the Tunnocks>

Not that stuff.
Have some home made soup, or a chicken curry.

I have been glued to my phone all day, waiting for the rheumatologist to call.

I went to the loo and guess what? Yep. The bastards rang. It's one of those numbers you can't ring back. Waaah!
