Hope you both feel better soon. We had our Covid jabs at the weekend & I just had an achy arm but DH had days of flu-type symptoms.

I thought a gerbil Batman might be helpful, lots of useful stuff on the utility belt for Boily and Fuzzy. The result is unexpectedly cute!
I'm assuming the gloves are on a string around the neck...

I always react badly to vaccines and drugs- possibly my stupid ( autoimmune diseased) immune system gaving a panic attack. Last covid jab I had to yellow card the fallout it was so bad. I'm soooo special!!

The French call them 'rubber boots', 'bottes de caoutchouc'.

Understandable, really.

Though 'caoutchouc' is a magnificent word.

Magpie, you are gilding the lily in that outfit, the lovely thing about you magpies is that you/ye are always dressed impeccably for dinner, even if it's only a dried up old crust of bread

@FuzzyPuffling you both need fuzzy blankets and Hotties with fuzzy covers and fuzzy socks.

I imagine with winter coming the Blue/Redstocking with have all those in stock.

I got sidetracked by the lovely boots and the cute little maintenance gerbil and missed reading a few posts🙄

It's always a bit of a gamble for me with vaccines. Usually I'm fine but the covid one has given me a few duff days. You have my sympathy.

The maintenance gerbil is absolutely adorable and I need a whole horde of them in my life.

(I had to look up the correct collective noun for gerbils.)

Good vaccine thing today..
Two of the staff didn't believe I was over 65 and had to get the different vaccine. Made me feel young!

I've just seen a man with a chicken in his rucksack on the telly.
