Roz Adams was employed by Edinburgh Rape Crisis Centre (ERCC) as a counsellor. She is claiming constructive dismissal for Gender Critical (GC) beliefs. The CEO of ERCC is a well known transwoman known for, among other things, controversial "reframe your trauma" remarks.

NC re alleged breach of confidentiality by MW. What was her explanation?

KH cos of confidentiality of situation not sure what I can say in this forum

NC we know close person to MW was survivor of sexual violence

KH MW was able to give me an explanation ...

NC so there is some kind of relationship between 2 individs which makes it okay for one to disclose to their whole workplace about the other's history

KH in this instance I believe it's MW right to make statement. In general confidentiality of survivors is paramount. In this case I exercised due diligence and it was legal.

Again it centres the worker and not the sexual assault victim, regardless of the fact it's not a service user

Witness focused in on email exchanges and the upset those caused

As an aside, it is nice to see such a self assured young women.

What did someone say earlier on this thread about people who say all the 'right' things, speak in current soundbites, etc, but don't actually know or have fundamentally thought about what they are doing?

Nothing about the rights of the survivor of sexual violence.

KH no. How decision made, policies applied, outcomes reached - in my view a fair and confidential process

The witnesses inflection is starting to go up at the end of a statement in that questioning "I am Right?" Way

The system does seem to struggle when numbers of watchers get high.

I did, so adding to that, it is highly likely that MW just made the relative”s story up and it was another emanation of inflating himself
