What if you're all wrong about KJK? Even her own security have serious concerns

andarounditgoesagain · 20/03/2023 09:54

Her own security are saying she's courting trouble for views, knowingly putting them in danger, that she has no human connection with people but her fans don't notice as they hero-worship her and see what they want to see, and that the end game is she's after becoming a talking head in the US, and that SFW women are just pawns she's using to get there.

She seems more and more like a Katie Hopkins type who's leeching off our movement.

I used to love her, before I get accused of jealousy. I still love the approach of platforming women who don't usually get a chance to be heard.

But actual nazis are now turning up at women's rights events - precisely because KJK refused to denounce them and has been courting the far right for ages. It's not a coincidence.

What does she have to do before women realise she's using us?
At what point do women accept KJK is toxic and damaging our movement?

If those closest to her have serious concerns - shouldn't you?

Nice try. Fail.
Do you seriously think that a pathetic attempt to smear KJK is going to make us surrender women’s rights to single sex spaces and free speech? Or that you are the first to try this nonsense on MN?

I have concerns about your motives. Decisions decisions...what should I do? I think I need a man to help me decide.

andarounditgoesagain · 20/03/2023 10:00

Do you think blindly following KJK is the only way to fight for single sex spaces and free speech?

What has KJK actually achieved? What are her campaign aims? Can you tell me that?

I'm criticising her because I want the fight for single sex spaces to be successful, not the opposite.

Yawn. This again?

SinisterKnitter · 20/03/2023 10:01

Sharing screenshots of private conversations is so not cool.

My motives are I want the women's movement to grow and flourish, I want to women's single sex spaces protected, I want those in power to hear our concerns and I think following KJK is counter productive, that it goes against those aims.

OP thinks we're silly little women who don't have a thought of our own in our fluffy pink brains and that we all 'blindly follow' KJK.

Baldieheid · 20/03/2023 10:04

What campaigning are YOU doing, OP?

Where's your next rally?

Pixiedust1234 · 20/03/2023 10:06

I can force her to make demands. WTAF is that.. force?!? Says it all really.

EyesOnThePies · 20/03/2023 10:07

“Leeching of our movement “?

How can she be putting herself at risk, whilst ‘leeching’?

Schrodingers JKR.

TrombonesAreNotBones · 20/03/2023 10:07

I don't follow her blindly.

I like very much that she lets women speak by providing opportunities for speaking. Men don't like women speaking, we know this.

Remember she doesn't call herself a feminist.

DifficultBloodyWoman · 20/03/2023 10:07

Interesting first post.

I will say that even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

I don’t know all of Kellie Jay Keen’s thoughts. I do know that we agree on some things. I fully expect that we disagree on a few as well.

And that’s ok.

EndlessTea · 20/03/2023 10:08

“Courting”

Nuff said.

andarounditgoesagain · 20/03/2023 10:09

I think it's easy to fall into the trap of following charismatic people who don't have our best interests at heart.

I know I've done it, and well remember the disillusionment when I discovered certain heros/sheros were false.

I think KJK is one of those people. And those of us who can see it, aren't going to stop pointing it out.

I wonder what she has to do before her die hard fans realise they're being taken for a ride.

Her own security are saying she's more interested in getting publicity than women's safety, and her motives are to do with self promotion, not women's rights. Does that not concern you?

MorningPlatypus · 20/03/2023 10:10

Why should we believe you and the anonymous conversation you've copied?

I don't love everything KJK does. But she's making the conversation more conspicuous, which is why both antifa and fascists turned up to protest her.

It's all about making sure women don't speak. And in this case it's worked, because all people are talking about is the male fascists.

I take the word of this Australian MP who was actually at the event.

MissLucyEyelesbarrow · 20/03/2023 10:11

JFC, no one cares. KJK is one person. She doesn't speak for me or for the GC movement - any more than any other individual does.

I agree with her on some things, not on others. And, as @DifficultBloodyWoman says, that's OK.

OMG, just bore off! So pathetically desperate and transparent 🙄

Baldieheid · 20/03/2023 10:13

OK,OP, you've convinced me. KJK is a nasty smelly poophead and you're absolutely correct, she knows nothing about anything and I'm never ever going to be her fwend again.

Or.....

You could grow the fuck up and realise that you will never, ever, agree with anyone else 100% and being an adult sometimes means working WITH someone who you really don't want to work with, till your common goal is achieved. Then you part ways. Welcome to grown up world.

And you think this will happen how exactly?

Osmosis? Through the language of dance? Mime?

SinisterKnitter · 20/03/2023 10:15

Isn't publicity the whole point?

Of course her priority is more publicity, that's always been her aim.

Women choosing to marshall at her events (it's not security) do so knowing what to expect. A friend who did it said it was extremely well organised and with a strong emphasis on safety.

Really not seeing the problem here.

💩🥄

BethDuttonsTwin · 20/03/2023 10:15

I just looked at your link 😆 so a load of self congratulatory, gossipy DMs are your “evidence”?

DifficultBloodyWoman · 20/03/2023 10:16

You’ve repeatedly used the word ‘following’. In this context, I assume that you don’t mean on social media.

You’ve also said that you ‘used to love her’.

You’ve described her as having ‘fans’.

The language you are using is not commonly used by grown ups discussing politics and social issues. I’m curious as to how old you are and how many elections you’ve voted in? Have you ever campaigned for anything before?

BernardBlacksMolluscs · 20/03/2023 10:17

our movement

I don’t know you

there’s no ‘our’ that includes you and me

take your forced teaming and feel free to stuff it where the sun does not shine

MalagaNights · 20/03/2023 10:18

Don't 'follow her blindly' then OP. Hth.

As far as I know no one else was following her blindly.

Those messages are a bit of unpleasant bitching.

Not News: people at work bitch about each other and an outspoken women isn't always nice.

MarshaBradyo · 20/03/2023 10:18

Do you campaign for another group?

I don’t really follow KJK that much but there seems to be some rivalry that crops up on here from a few posters.
