The Tribunal started on 25th April at 10am. If you would like to view online you need to send a request for access as early as possible.

Send an email to

[email protected]

The subject heading of the email request should read

“MEDIA OR PUBLIC ACCESS REQUEST – Case number 2202172/2020 - Ms A Bailey – 25th April 2022.

Then ask for the pin for the online access.

You will be contacted with instructions on how to observe the hearing.

When joining the live tribunal please choose a non inflammatory/offensive name, everyone can see it in the chat - This is a court room, please behave accordingly.

The court chat function is there for official court purposes, not for observers, please don't use it unless you have a technical issue.

On the first page underneath where you put your screen name, select the video and mic that are not crossed out (top option), this is the courts vid and mic.
On the next page select NONE on the drop down windows for vid and mic, these are your own video and mic.

You must be muted so as to not disturb the hearing.

There is also live tweeting from

"I seem to be in a lobby with waiting for the conference host to join message!"
@BenCooperisaGod

Same.

yourhairiswinterfire · 20/05/2022 10:37

TT says it's a 5 minute break.

TastefulRainbowUnicorn · 20/05/2022 10:37

She is very calm and patient but I cannot even imagine how fed up the EJ must be with both GCC and Stonewall witnesses. And to a certain extent their lawyers too. I’d be spending all the breaks punching a pillow! It can’t be good tactics to annoy the hell out of the judge, surely?

wantmorenow · 20/05/2022 10:38

Back in now

chilling19 · 20/05/2022 10:38

Back in

CriticalCondition · 20/05/2022 10:38

Back in. Phew. Mr Reuby doing a sterling job as usual to keep things on track.

maltravers · 20/05/2022 10:39

since GCC has two barristers, I don’t see why the junior can’t take over reexamination if AH needs to leave. Why should JK’s prevarication and AH’s limited availability be rewarded by a curtailed cross examination by BC?

BenCooperisaGod · 20/05/2022 10:40

Im in!

BC really trying to get her to answer the question directly here!

PrelateChuckles · 20/05/2022 10:42

I dunno, I feel for anyone who's grieving and having to pay close attention to this tribunal and then going straight off to the funeral.

BenCooperisaGod · 20/05/2022 10:42

So good to put faces to the names.

InvisibleDragon · 20/05/2022 10:43

On the angry point, why on earth shouldn't Allison be angry? With everything she has had to put up with from colleagues who purported to be her friends (and who you would think had a basic understanding of the Equalities Act), let alone the anonymous randoms on Twitter, yes betrayal, sadness and upset are reasonable emotions. But so is anger.

I am sick to death of women's anger being used against us. To silence or discredit us or put us back in our place. Allison's needs do not have to be considered only after everyone else's nice-to-haves have been accommodated.

Bingo card 'quote swearing'

Gabcsika · 20/05/2022 10:46

I'm getting really annoyed with JK's rambly evasive answers.

MsMarvellous · 20/05/2022 10:46

Oo. Joanna Cherry is watching

Ameanstreakamilewide · 20/05/2022 10:49

It might not truly be JC QC...

Yes if anything women's anger should be given more respect. As a whole, it takes a lot to anger women and we generally have more patience and empathy.

"Allison was very angry"

TastefulRainbowUnicorn · 20/05/2022 10:51

I can't imagine that continually referring to AB as "angry" is doing GCC any favours given the way the other GCC barristers have been behaving on the stand.
