I would be interested in a female senior girl guiding leader posting photos like that to see if she is celebrated as much, or (more likely) removed from her position.

I have written to them as a GG parent.

If you can do so, I recommend it. Focus on the sexual nature of their social media and if you mention guns, keep it relevant to guides (safety etc).

This is so depressing. I'm guessing there is nothing parents can do except withdraw their children ? Does this person have contact with the young people or is it an admin position? Not sure it makes much difference judging by the photos .

I've complained to GGUK and I have no links whatsoever to them. It's the most basic failure of safeguarding and everyone who cares at all about children should complain also. If allowed to continue this will not end well.

I was not a gg, never even made it to Brownies, but I think an organisation to encourages self esteem and independence in young women is an excellent principle. Unfortunately the GG appear to have lost their moral compass and are now completely lost in the TRA forest.

Safe Schools Alliance have tweeted photos, one taken from the aforementioned person’s Twitter account, dressed in the uniform, talking about having been helping at the Scout campsite (presumably used not only Scouts) and mentioning what the girls had been doing.

People should remove their girls from GG. You need to hit these people at the core. When you remove them tell them exactly why. They don't listen to emails and letters etc......

I have refused my 2 girls rainbows, brownies and guides as I do not trust these organisations to keep my girls safe.

I think people should pull their girls out of guides, rainbows and brownies. This is not what guiding leadership should be about.

is this the end game? get women to shut themselves out of opportunities by fear and intimidation? its what abusive partners do, pressure you out of a job, out of seeing friends etc and then pretend it was your choice.

it all seems similar in terms of tactics, get women to silence and marginalize themselves, the slow drip drip, if you push them out of clubs at a young age that would increase self esteem and confidence. marginalize them at school and make them feel wrong for not conforming to gender stereotypes and shout them down at college or uni for having boundaries and opinions, then you have set them up for a lifetime of low pay and subservience.
