Just asking as I’m new to MN and appalled at the threads in here D:

I hate all people who threaten or use their penis as a weapon. Be it rape of a stranger or a spouse. Be it rape using violent force or rape taking advantage of another's inability to stop it. Be it corrective rape threatened against lesbians by some prison guards or threatened by some transwomen. Be it rape of a female or rape of a male - of any or no gender identification.

By definition all of those people raping with their penis are male. A very few are transwomen. So I guess I hate those trans people but I'm certain that is not the majority of trans people.

If anybody would like to tell me why I shouldn't hate bio males - or ejaculators if you prefer - who threaten or carry out rape then be my guest.

I'm curious about the sort of people who are determined to dismantle safeguarding.

you are a male and yet are a woman and would therefore like all spaces that were previously single sex to preserve safety, dignity and privacy to be changed to mixed sex? - would you mind explaining on what basis you are a woman so we can check that this is a good idea?

Like pretty much everyone else on this thread, I'd like to point out that I don't hate trans people.
I've also seen very little actual transphobia on this board and would encourage anyone to report it if they do see it.
I have seen a lot of misogyny and misrepresentation of women as transphobic though, as well as claims and accusations that are never backed up. Pretty much like the OPs, in fact.

No, I don’t hate trans people. There is a lot of transphobia (not that I’ve seen any here) and I think it must be incredibly difficult for many transpeople in their day to day lives.

If OP is so appalled at MN threads, why did s/he join? Why get appalled and then join? Or join and get appalled and stay to post? If that makes sense....COFFEE.

ME! I think that trans women are women and wholly pro-trans. I find the trans threads on MN very hard to deal with so have learned not to engage. It’s hard though!

How about the mother who didn't want her daughter to be in the same school-house as a trans child? How is that anything other than fear/dislike? Not that she didn't want her daughter to be in the same changing room as the child, but genuinely didn't want her to be part of the same house. Not safeguarding- prejudice.

I certainly don't. I think it's a really difficult issue though, it's important to make as many people as possible feel as safe as possible, including minorities and non minorities. I have no idea what the answers are though!

Two current threads which are typical of the kind of thing posters on this feminist chat board are concerned about. Both are extremely upsetting and shocking to read about. Both have been dealt with appallingly. Women and children so often don't even get the justice they deserve let alone the safety. Both of the perpetrators, like over 90% of all sexual offenders, have penises, were born with penises, ergo are male.

OVER 90% OF SEXUAL CRIMES. Why would anyone be so committed to stopping women naming the pattern of male crime offending?
