My very quick google search says that in America almost 91% of homicides are committed by men. That's a absolutely massive amount of murders for trans women to commit to put a dent in it.

It would skew them enough, especially wrt violent crime. You'd suddenly get a jump in the % of "women" prisoners who've committed violent crime, "women" convicted of rape, "women" guilty of DV etc. And that would make discussing and dealing with male violence much harder.
