Hi howlong

Maybe we should start a new thread. This one seems dead.
I posted on this one a few days ago when I joined WW.
Not really had much response!

Sorry I should have put a smilie or something after it

I don;t think any of the threads in the section are very active but maybe if we post more it will get busier.

I feel like I'm doign quite well with WW at the moment. I've lost 3.6 kilos so far but I have a huge chunk to lose. I've also taken delivary of my first WW freshbox. I don;t know if they have them in the UK but WW has joined uo with a delivery company and you can buy a weeks worth of dinner ingredients in a box. We had lemon chicken tonight and it was lovely and only 6 smart points

sounds lovely.

Im doing ok,
Im actually finding this easier so far than low carbing.

Im getting about 6 to 8 fit points a day. do i use them for anything?

hello - I joined WW online yesterday I've got 5 stone plus to loose which seems very daunting at the minute (its crept on over last 9 years)

Has any one any tips for making this family friendly and still letting the kids have their treats?

Hi, I've just joined up. I need to pop out for new batteries for my scales ( been a while since I used them!) but I'm guessing I've got about 4 stone to lose. I've just been playing around with the app, is a 200 calorie muller rice really a third of my daily allowance? That's mental!

Hi all, I'd like to join here, joined weight watchers in July, then didn't go again until last week Blush - first weigh in this Thursday. I'd say I have about 3 stone to lose but would be happy with 2. First weigh in this week. I have stuck to it and reached my fit point goal each day, and still have 25 weeklies left so I'm hoping for a good loss. Leader has not discussed goal weight, is this typical or am I supposed to figure it out myself?

4 stone 7 lbs to lose :S

I've just decided my own goal weight- so my BMI is in the healthy range, and in the past it's the weight I could wear a bikini in public and feel ok. It's quite a lot to lose so I know I could aim for lower but that just feels too much.

What do people have for breakfasts? Definitely need to rethink my muller rice and fruit!

Hi, I've just restarted today, I'm doing vintage points so hopefully it's OK for me to still hang out here.

My breakfast tomorrow is two crumpets with low fat soft cheese and half a grapefruit!

Hello all . Day 2 nearly done . I am in this for the long haul but I really want to have a first good week . I actually went to the gym last night which was weird . It is definitely more of a "beautiful people " place in the evening . if I ever do go it is when it is quiet . Was a bit intimidating but I didn't turn round and leave so that's a start .

I just want to fast forward the next six months and keep my motivation up .

Crumpets and soft cheese would be 9 points, think I'd be hungry by 10. I don't think a breakfast that keeps me going from 7-1 exists though!

I've got a treadmill and weights machines in the garage, still hate doing it though. Better than being in public though!

Dies anyone understand the activities points.
Do you reach a certain amount then eat them?

Report
Pyrrha · 13/09/2016 19:16

My app lets you choose whether to eat them first then the weekly points, or the weeklies then activities or to bank them and not eat them at all. I think it says not using them is the recommended setting.

Breakfast for me is either two weetbix with bluberries and skimmed milk (5sp) or two boiled eggs with one slice of toast with butter (10sp) or porridge. Bit samey but will see what others are having for inspiration. I'm enjoying the Danone light and free yoghurts - 2sp.

I had Bircher muesli this morning.
40g porridge with some skimmed milk and a grated Apple, left overnight in the fridge then I added cinnamon this morning.
Or I have 2 scrambled eggs and some smoked salmon.

Ihate yes I'm finding it much more flexible than low carb. I'm also finding the whole family can eat the same food where as with low carb I need to make extra thing.
sotired I've not had to change much for the family. What sort of treats are you wanting to give?

I have porridge for breakfast most mornings. It's low in points but really filling and supper quick.

Morning! I joined WW on Monday, I need to lose about 2.5 stone. My goal is to be a size 10 by my sister's wedding in just over ten months time (I seem to lose weight very, very slowly). Hoping the health kick will also do my gallstones some good while I'm waiting for my operation...

I did WW briefly last year on ProPoints but wasn't in the right frame of mind and only did a month in the end, however did lose 7lb by the time I'd stopped, which I haven't (somewhat miraculously) regained.

Hope everyone is well!

I've just eaten some home made banana breadBlush
God only knows how many points that was.
In my defence I've had a crap morning.
The vet just fleeced me for £70 and my eldest ds has disappeared.
(He is 25 but has MH issues at the mo)
I just have to wait for him to surface which does my head in.

Anyway.
I had 2 scrambled eggs for breakfast and 1 slice of toast plus a 45 min dog walk.

I don;t have PCOS but I have hypothyriodism. Which makes losing weight difficult. I'm finding a WW is good as I'm stirring away bread/gluten products which I believe impacts on thyriod function.
