Hi I'm still here! I check in every night but I'm not doing so well so haven't posted.

Got a text from my old leader today (from about 3 years ago) and she's coming back to my area in September so I might just go back to Ww classes although we were on pro points then and I've never moved on to smart points so it will be very different. I did find her inspirational though and was upset when she left.

Good afternoon! May I join you?

I lost just under a stone last year following pro points and didn't find it too challenging. I have since had a baby and have gained that stone plus another one! I know they have changed now to smart points but I'm going to stick to pro points, at least to start with. I can always swap if it's not working.

I plan to start on Monday. I know that sounds very cliched but I would prefer my weigh in to be a Monday, and its easier to go to the supermarket and stock up my weight watchers stash on a Monday.

I think I'm going to struggle most to do enough exercise. When I lost weight before I was doing two Zumba classes a week. One of those classes is now stopped and the other is during the day which is a no go now DS is here.

Wish me luck!

Hi all, I have read all of your posts on this thread and would love to join you for motivation! I am a 33 yr old mum of 3, ages are 6, 4 and almost 2. My thyroid stopped working in my 4yr olds pregnancy and since then I have struggled losing weight. I have all of the ww propoints books to go by but cannot afford to join right now. I am in NZ so am doing metric... my weight currently is 78.5kg!! I am 5'7 so need to weigh about 68kg to be in the normal range so have a bit to lose. Really struggling to do it on my own so chatting should keep me going :)

Welcome Dotty and Kezza and Hi Ken

Right i'm back on it, started yesterday and weigh-in today. I have to admit with all the crap I've been eating I expected the damage to be worse than it is. I'm going to try harder this time and not get so upset if I don't lose much in a week. I've still kept off the 1 stone I lost at the beginning if the year so now really need to focus on the next stone and then I'll be happy - simples!

Oh yukkity yuk! I've just weighed myself to get my starting weight and it's not pretty. 12 stone 11ib. I didn't realise it had slowly been creeping on. It's fine though, I am going to do this!

I'm not expecting a huge loss or possibly any loss this week because we are away at the weekend for a wedding. I will just try hard to make sensible choices when we are there and try not to be too disappointed if the scales aren't kind to me next week. It was possibly not the best time to start but I've got my mind focused on it now!

Ken, that's a really good idea to find a buggy fit class. I'll start having a look.

Good luck to everyone starting or re starting today.

Hello Kezza by the way , have had loads of tips and moral support from this thread. Grin

So, I had a good first day yesterday. I ate all of my daily points and managed somehow to say no to an ice cream! Found that I drank a lot more water yesterday than usual and feel better today for it.

Just had a very tasty bowl of oat so simple porridge flavoured with golden syrup for 5 pro points. I made with half milk and half water which saved a point or two.

How are people getting on with No Count? I have just joined this week and thought I would do that. However I did try slimming world a few years ago - well ages ago in fact - and didn't lose a single pound - so I really hope No Count isn't too similar!

I have done WW before with their old points ....

beckslovestimmy · 06/08/2016 21:42

Hiya, can I join. Joined WW yesterday, doing smart points. I have a 6 week old DS and need to lose the baby weight (and the rest). Starting at 15st 12.8lb. First goal is to lose 1stone. First day today. Evenings are my downfall and I've had nothing since dinner. I usually have pudding and then snack a lot. Need to break that habit!

Hi there everyone. Well since I said I was getting back on it I have managed to completely procrastinate and gain another 500g, which i think is about another pound? Seems to go on fast! So I have pulled finger, joined a gym which opens at the end of the month, and downloaded the ultimate food diary app which I am loving so far! Day 2 almost down and I am tracking 100% so fingers crossed on saturday (weigh in day) I see some results! How is everyone else going?

I've been on holiday so starting again in the morning . Not sure what I've gained in the past few weeks but around half a stone is the guess Sad

It's very quiet on here all of a sudden... I have to say that after tracking for 4 days my weigh in today put me down over 1kg... fingers crossed its so good on weigh in day which is Saturday (Friday for everyone else I think) I seem to be all or nothing with this whole thing. As in I find it really hard to get motivated or easy to get into counting points (with a bit of ocd about it)

Have been doing No Count for two weeks now, the first week managed to lose 3 pounds and this second week 2 pounds. So I am pleased so far ..... I don't go to the meetings as I feel disciplined enough to do alone although I did attend the first meeting to get the information. I also find the £6.25 weekly attendance a bit steep.

Hey all - I re-joined last Monday. I lost two stone 18 months a go and then plateaued, tried slimming world, my fitnessapp, ignoring the problem etc. etc. and put back on a stone so I have returned and am covering all basis' by doing the Monthly Pass and going to meetings and online too. I initially was at 14 stone and got down to 11.13. This time I started at 12.12 and lost 2lbs in the first week, so now 12.10.

I am so determined to get down to my target of 10.10 (or even 11 stone!) this time. I hate feeling the way I do, I can't stand photographs of myself (and I am "Matron of Dishonour" at my best friend's wedding on Friday so photos are inevitable ) and just want to like the way I look again. I hope you don't mind me posting frequently as I am reaching out for all forms of support this time. I, in turn, will try to be of assistance too.

Just for once, I would like to wear a little black number at Xmas and feel happy, comfortable and confident in it. That is my aim.

By the way, I really struggled with Pro Points and am loving Smartpoints, but my downfall is wine everytime!

So hello again everyone

Kezzamumof3 · 11/08/2016 10:36

BernieBear - I also have the wine as a downfall! Although these days its cider... I have been tracking and counting points (propoints) like crazy and my weigh in is tomorrow for my first week. Today my scales said I was 78 kg down from 79.5 so I hope my weigh in is around the same. Would be nice! Will check in tomorrow with final figure. Hope everyone else is having a good week :)

Bernie Bear you must be the same height as me my target weight is supposedly 10 stone 10 lbs too! I don't think I have been that since my thirties even with diets lol. Like you I would be more than happy to settle at 11 stone.

Thanks for the replies Flower and Kezza. Good luck Kezza with the weigh in, let us know how it goes - it certainly sounds promising!

I know you're not supposed to use FitPoints but mine ended up in the region of 90 fitpoints last week so I am hoping that that could allow for any wine drunk at the wedding!! I am going to try and avoid the camera as much as possible, but I suspect any pictures taken will spur me on in my weight loss!

Flower - I am actually relatively short but have a habit of looking a lot lighter than I actually am. When I was a lovely size 12 and running the marathon I was 10 stone 10 and felt great (I am 5ft 6 inches!!) so I am working it along those lines. Mind you that was 16 years ago (I am now 45, so my allowance for being 11 stone is probably more realistic.

Good luck for the next few days and fingers crossed for any weigh ins xxx

I have fallen off the weight watchers wagon Sad

Kezza, I am like that too it's either all or nothing and it has gone down the route of nothing at the moment! Well done on your weight loss so far and good luck for the weekly weigh in.

I managed to be ocd about tracking everything for about 4 days, and I felt so much better for it. We then went away for the weekend for a wedding and I indulged! I also have a 4 month old baby who has not been napping well but he is getting better now. Food has been very much grab what you can when you can.

I will get back on it though. I think it is going to be a lot easier when we begin weaning DS as there will be a lot more focus on eating fruit and veg and we will be sitting down to eat together.

I will get there!

Going away Sat until Wed so bound to gain a pound at the very least. I will definitely try to be careful but hard when visiting Indian restuarants etc isn't it!

Transgressed and ate a Club biscuit yesterday something had upset me and I needed the chocolate boost..... Luckily I was off my food so I am still losing.

I almost hope I have an upset stomach while I am away daft isn't it! So I won't eat too much ....

I'm coming up to weigh day (sun) really hoping I've lost. As the week goes on its getting harder probably not helped by the fact I need to do the weekly shop! Very little food in and what I've got is not WW friendly!

Sadly, since my big loss I have not tracked, but I have had a tummy big which showed a massive loss and now I am recovered my weight has stabilised again... tomorrow is a new day so will track from then til weigh in. Hope everyone else is going well. Beckslovestimmy - hope your scale was friendly :) and flowerpower - jokes aside, hope your time away goes well. We have to learn to live with the system and even if there is a set back, getting back on it is the key I think. Better than chucking in the towel anyway. Enjoy your time out!
