Hi flowery , how is day 1 going ?

My main meals tend to be much the same as before but I avoid anything with cream or cheese or pastry .

Tonight we have salmon , roasted veg and salad .
Tomorrow I will do a tray bake with chicken breast , veg and cous cous .
The weightwatchers site is really good for ideas too , have yoiu joined online ?

I hope everyone is having a good weekend . I have managed the gym today and yesterday and stayed on track so fingers crossed for another loss on Wednesday .

Howlongtillbedtime · 12/10/2016 06:57

Good morning everyone , I have only lost a pound again this week . I know a loss is a loss but I was really hoping for more .

Onwards and upwards and hopefully a better week ahead .

Hello and good luck of there is anybody still out there Grin

FuckyNell · 14/10/2016 07:37

Joined today. Want to lose a stone, I'm 5.4 10 stone 10. I literally cannot shift it by myself! Started hula hooping a month ago and that has helped waist definition.

Ive had a quick look and the new points look tough!

cherryademania · 14/10/2016 08:04

A loss is loss Howlong. Well done. I lost 3lbs but I reckon I could have done a lot better. Still pleased though! 😊Hi Flowery and Fucky. Points are pretty easy to get to grips with. I've put the app on my phone so I can track exactly what I've had.

Howlongtillbedtime · 14/10/2016 08:29

Well done cherry that is fab ! I am really buckling down this week I need to lose this weight .

Nell, I have found the points really easy to follow . I also love the fact you have weeklies so if you do have a dodgy day it's not the end of the world . I had a cheeky weigh in today and in 1 month and 2 days I have lost exactly a stone which I am chuffed about . It will keep me motivated over the weekend hopefully .

Good luck everyone .

rosesandcashmere · 14/10/2016 12:54

You're all doing brilliantly! I stayed the same this week but after a 9lb loss last week and getting the period of death this week 2 weeks early I will take that! Good luck for the weekend everyone!

FloweryTwat · 15/10/2016 10:36

Morning! Yep I'm all joined up online, and am eating mainly WW meals of an evening a) as DH has been away b) I can't cheat myself on how many points I'm eating. Have really increased my fruit and veg.

It's coming up to TOTM and I do fluctuate a lot, but think I am 3lbs down this week! Am out tonight, but have kept most of my weekly points and am determined to make good choices! Feel a bit more in control of my eating which has to be good.

I'd be so happy at a stone in a month!

Howlongtillbedtime · 15/10/2016 20:45

3lbs is amazing !

How are you feeling on it ? I feel so much better since I cut out loads of bread and rubbish .

The exercise helps as well . I am trying to get to the gym 3 times a week and I am plodding 5k each time .

FloweryTwat · 16/10/2016 15:25

I was feeling good - out last night though and didn't go mad, cutting back today but still feeling a bit bloated.

Feeling quite positive as I do enjoy the WW meals as my main evening meal, and there are enough points for non diet food. So if I want my usual ham and cheese baguette for lunch I can, but it's 16 SP, or I can have a chicken sandwich and crisps for 10. So I can still eat what I want really, just not all of it on the same day Grin

Howlongtillbedtime · 17/10/2016 08:03

That's what I am living about it . If I really want something then I can buy I have to really want it to justify the points .

The weekend has been ok , had a big day roast dinner yesterday but didn't eat much else so fingers crossed it's ok . Weigh in day is Wednesday for me so a couple more days to make a difference .

Good luck everyone on this cold and grey Monday !

Howlongtillbedtime · 19/10/2016 06:23

Good morning , how is everyone getting on ? Very quiet in here this week .

Weigh in day today and I am 3 pounds down so that is 1st and 1 pound over 5 wks which I am happy about .

Fingers crossed for a good week ahead .

FloweryTwat · 19/10/2016 22:28

Well done you that's amazing!

I've had a bit of a slip, very late back from parents evening so shared a bag of chips from the shop with DH. I also ate a cookie thing in the team meeting and ended up having it as my entire lunch when i looked it up - that'll teach me!

Still feeling quite good though. I'd lost 6lbs as of this morning, but I do fluctuate, so will take my reading from next Monday as my actual loss.

Have a night out Saturday and I'm not drinking to try and keep in control. Having a few days away at the end of half term so want to sae myself for then.

Howlongtillbedtime · 20/10/2016 07:46

At least you saved it by checking and logging it instead of thinking bugger it I've ruined it niw so i might as well have another one which I have been guilty of in the past .

I have got a stinky cold this week which is leading me into temptation but I am managing to be good so far .

6 lbs is brilliant you must be really chuffed .

Howlongtillbedtime · 26/10/2016 14:06

Is anybody still out there ? Weigh in day today and a pound off .

Pleased with that as I had a weekend of beer and pizza . Have got back on track now so hoping for a better week next week .

Good luck everyone!

FloweryTwat · 26/10/2016 19:16

Well done! I've stayed the same Sad and I'm away this weekend

Keep thinking even if it's half a pound a week then it will be a good difference by xmas. Not sure I'm convincing myself Grin

NinaMarieP · 26/01/2018 15:29

Are any of you still doing WW? I just started last week.

Breastfeeding is supposed to melt the pounds off but the numbers on my scales have slowly crept up after I managed to be the same weight post baby as I was immediately before.

I'm finding it OK so far, eating a lot of chicken, tuna and eggs though. Annoyed that sweet potatoes and parsnips are so many points.

Struggling to find any preprepared foods just aren't loads of points - when you've got a 5.5m old you don't always have time to go chopping and mixing stuff for a snack or a side with lunch.
