I haven't posted on here for ages as I have been a very slow responder, to the point where I thought I was a non responder. It also took me ages to titrate up due to shortage of doses. I ended up with three months on 0.25, and two months each on the next two doses. I lost half a stone my very first month, then only very tiny amounts after that. It's only now that I have finally hit 1.7 of wegovy that the weight is moving again. It's taken me seven months to lose a stone, with the majority of that being in my first month, and this past few weeks on 1.7.
I had given myself to the end of this month or I was giving up so I am so relieved it's working for me now. There is definitely some truth in people saying not to give up until you reach the higher doses.
I also reached an NSV today. I have a pair of vintage jeans from the late 90s, think hipsters and boot cut. I absolutely love them and was so happy to be able to wear them again when I tried them on last month. I hadn't worn them for about 10 years before that. I put them on today and they slid down my hips! I'm mostly glad at the loss of inches but also sad I can't wear them anymore. It's very weird to be a size 16 again. I haven't been that for a long long time.
