TMI so if you're squeamish, look away now!

For those struggling with vomit, are you finding it's bringing up undigested food? I know wegovy slows down your digestion but when i occasionally vomit I'm surprised by how old the contents is!

@starlilly88 Yep, bone weary all the time. Don’t know if it’s the meds or just general life stress and burnout though.

Me too.
Fatigue is a known side effect so the Wegovy I'm sure is at least partially responsible. But also I've been eating in a calorie deficit consistently for months now. I wouldn't be surprised if my body is unsettled by it and trying to make me conserve energy.

Coming to the end of my 4th pen, I hit the 2 stones lost this morning 😁
It's cost me £736.30, but not really, as I've spent an awful lot less than I would have on alcohol and snacks etc.
I think that's a bargain, when I was considering weight loss surgery.
The next two pens are more expensive, £199 and £245 but I guess I might lose more than another stone if they are even more effective 🤔

Weigh in day!
2.2lbs lost this week, my 17th consecutive loss.
30.6lbs gone, 13.2lbs to get to BMI 25.

Well done! Not long to go!

starlilly88 · 16/03/2024 16:54

Are many of you tired all the time? I've just gone up to 0.5 and needing to nap during the day (fortunately I can) just to function. However I keep waking up early and can't seem to sleep in at weekends. Tired just typing this!

I am on 0.5, now on week 9 and yep, I could sleep all day if I let myself!

Tindrum · 17/03/2024 13:30

Woohoo everyone is doing so well. Totally agree that it is well worth the money, especially when you are talking about the health benefits. On a more vapid level I am currently wearing a pair of 100% cotton size 12 H&M bootcut jeans - no Lycra or elastic top needed 😁🤣. Wouldn’t have thought this was possible last autumn!

AhBiscuits · 17/03/2024 13:48

I have spent £1059, that's including the 8 week's supply still in the fridge. Not buying more so that will be it. 100% worth it.

I still have a lot to lose so will be spending a lot more but the benefits (including cheaper food shopping) will totally be worth it.

Hi everyone,

I haven't been on for a while so had a few pages to catch up on, great to see people still losing and the original people getting closer to goal.

I've just finished my second 1mg pen and was going to stay on that dose because of the cost but I'm not getting the effects like I used to so I've bit the bullet and ordered the 1.7mg.
I took my last shot on Friday and haven't had much appetite reduction at all or my usual headache/burps/tummy upset so I don't think it's working for me now.
I feel incredibly guilty about spending so much money but I've lost 3 stone with 2 more to go and really don't want to give up or fail like I always do, I think I'd feel more guilty if I threw my progress away plus it's a total waste of money to spend £170 on something that doesn't work so I'd rather spend the extra £50 on something that will.

I originally planned to buy 6 pens so my next one will definitely be my last but by the time they're finished I will be at or very close to goal.

I'd definitely be up for joining a "life after Wegovy" thread, in the past I've found maintenance much harder than weight loss.

I have a 1.7mg pen but o ky wants to dose 1mg as 1.7mg to much for me. How many clicks would I need for 1mg dose? Tia

There are pictures of click charts on the thread if you read it.

JONSWIFEY · 17/03/2024 18:36

Can someone tell me what page of the thread the click charts are on please? My phone is slow loading and 36 other pages to go through is going to take me forever.

PanettoneSoprano · 17/03/2024 18:47

This is for 1.7 @JONSWIFEY

AhBiscuits · 17/03/2024 18:48

I can't remember whether there is a 1.7 click chart. You can work it out.
Count the total clicks to 1.7. Just for example, say it's 80.
1.7/80 = 0.02mg per click.
1/0.02 = 50
So 50 clicks to get 1mg.

Or just follow that chart above 😂

Really struggling this weekend, feel like I've not had any appetite suppression on 3rd dose of 1mg 🤔 I have wanted to eat so much... Really hope it's a one off, it's my own fault as I was previously moaning about how sick and nauseous I was feeling 🤦‍♀️ that'll teach me...

Lovely to see everyone's progress though 😁

I had that the other week but I've come through it. Second month on 1.0 but I've been using up old pens at the same time, so a bit more than 1.0. Appetite suppression has been really good this week. A bit scared to move up to 1.7 tomorrow, not sure whether to do the whole dose, or do a bit less.

Tindrum · 17/03/2024 21:59

@Annwithout I’m too scared to take full 1.7 so will split into 5 doses I think. I want to get to around a bmi of 22 so could do with making the pens last!

Well, here I am on Sunday night, jab due tomorrow. No appetite at all tonight, usually it's all worn off by now, I really don't think I need 1.7 tomorrow. Hmmm....

Flatleak · 17/03/2024 22:21

There's nothing to say you need to move up tomorrow or to move up the full dose. I did 7 weeks at 1mg, 2 weeks at 1.3mg, then to 1.7mg. It's what worked for me

Tindrum · 18/03/2024 07:08

On the theme of 1.7 dose, has anyone found it cheaper than £220?

Striving4Better · 18/03/2024 07:50

I was checking in on another thread, but that's gone all quiet and this one is also more appropriate as I started 15th Jan.

1lb down this past week. I can almost sniff the one stone loss.

Still taking it super slow with another 1.5 shots of the 0.25 dose.

I seem to be having success with holding an ice pack on my belly for 20mins before injecting to stop the bruises. I suspect the cold chases the capillaries away. The only bruises I have now are the ones where I've walked into things - not Wegovy-related.

Talking of walking into things (sort of)... When I put on a load of weight due to medication a while back, I would turn around and knock things over because my brain hadn't caught up with how big my bum was. I don't do this any more. Yay for slightly smaller bum!

£195 at Bolt :)

It's definitely worth checking the clicks using your method. I used a chart to show the clicks needed for a 0.75 dose from a 1.0 pen but I've just counted all the clicks and worked out I've been taking 0.6 instead of 0.75!

Morning. Has anyone got a discount code for pharmacy2u?
