Welcome newcomers 😊
@melissasummerfield that’s a realistic time frame to make progress and see significant change 👍
@clpsmum all journeys start with the first step and you’ve done that now. Well done! Just keep going one day at a time. You’ll see progress in no time!
Nice to see you again @swampytiggaa 😊 lovely to have you here.
@Squirrelblanket sounds like a plan! That’s always a positive first step.
@Livedandlearned after the year we’ve had it’s not surprising chocolate and booze have made an entrance. I’ll admit I’ve had a bit too much chocolate and a few too many Baileys coffees 😬
@Smarshian great mini target up to your birthday at the end of the month. You’ll still see results in 4 weeks.
@obusrath your post brought a giggle 🤭‘shrink or go naked’ v funny. Seriously though I know what you mean. I’m vertically challenged so any weight gain shows up straight away.
@Walkingbkwrm sounds very sensible 👍Slow and steady can suit some people more that fast & rapid.
@Rockthefatskillz congratulations 🥳. Totally agree with your plan of healthy eating and gentle exercise.
@Fooshufflewickjbannanapants upping protein & curbing sugar can help with reducing cravings 👍
@tiredanddangerous jump aboard. These threads usually have very supportive posters, even if it’s a bit of hand holding. Keep reading & posting, especially on any bad days you might have. You’re not alone 😊
@Iameverybean you can still measure progress without scales. Waistbands & tops not as snug etc, feeling more svelte, more energetic, sleeping better etc. You can do this.
@Hugglethatmuggle these threads advocate for healthy eating rather than a diet of deprivation. Finding an healthy eating regime that’s sustainable is the key to long term success.
@Mamajunebugjones most certainly any weight loss will help your knee plus other joints. Good luck 👍
