Hello,
I was wondering how much weight u fellow vlcd people have lost in the space of 10 weeks. I am planning to attend a friends wedding in 10 weeks and am attempting to loose weight. I am abit 5 stone overweight so i am desperate to loose some weight using exante till the wedding.
Looking forward to hearing your success stories.

I’m good, about to have my last shake of the day.

On a slightly TMI note (I apologise!) I had my first poo of the diet this morning Blush

GaryBaldyBiscuit · 23/04/2018 21:18

The last time I did exante I didn’t have a break week but I was only on it for about 6 weeks, I think I’m going to try to get to 6 weeks (hopefully) and see how I feel then.
I didn’t crack today though I reeeeealy felt like it so I’m pleased, once I’ve seen the loss on the scales from the first week hopefully that’ll give me a boost. Who else is weighing themselves on Friday?

GeorgieTheGorgeousGoat · 23/04/2018 21:19

Yes I’m a Friday weigher! Looking forward to it.

2under2survivor · 23/04/2018 21:43

Hi everyone, SO excited to be joining you tomorrow. Was meant to be today but I only received my order this afternoon. Anyway, I just had my 'last supper' - feel stuffed and unhappy. However hard the VLCD will be, it won't be as hard as being fat and miserable.... just need to keep reminding myself of that.

minimalist99 · 23/04/2018 22:07

Had a bad day yesterday and had a thick slice of bread with a thick helping of nutella today.... trying not to beat myself up about it...

I am going to get back on track asap

Good luck for today 2! Hope you find it ok, first 3-4 days are def the hardest so remember you’ll feel better by the weekend!
Don’t worry Mini, straight back on it today and you’ll be fine, we’ll all slip up at points along the way, the important thing is not not let a day or two turn in too a week or two.
I’m feeling good again this morning, my work trousers are not pinching my waist as much!

SoleBizzz · 24/04/2018 08:36

cardoon · 24/04/2018 08:57

Hi Sole are you thinking of starting?

I'm 0.2 of a LB down this week as I had weekend visitors, back on it as of yesterday and glad to be as went to bed feeling sick the last few nights Envy

ohsoslim · 24/04/2018 09:31

Hi all- gosh am I glad I found this thread - desperate to start some sort of vlcd but just can't decide which one? Starting next Monday as have big weekend planned - need to loose 2.5stone in 8 weeks
I did lipotrim years ago and found the strict diet worked well for me- but would like to try something new
Seems like exante seems most popular on here?? Would you all recommend??

2under2survivor · 24/04/2018 10:24

@Gary that's great that your trousers are feeling looser!

@ohsoslim I think a lot of the VLCD plans are pretty similar, I just went with Exante because they have good offers which made it pretty cheap

Well, had my first meal - apple and cinnamon porridge, it was lovely and creamy. I am doing meals rather than shakes as I'm just not a shake person. I have noticed this morning how often I used to do things like eat a bit off my daughter's plate, lick something off my fingers, have a taste of something as it's cooking, all without thinking.... all extra calories that add up. It's going to take a bit of effort to break these habits.

ohsoslim · 24/04/2018 10:56

Anyone got a referral code for exante??

2under2survivor · 24/04/2018 10:59

My referral code is NICOLA-R1IS x

cardoon · 24/04/2018 11:45

Trying to do intermittent fasting along with exante so was bluddy famished by 11 o'clock

Broke my fast with chicken fajita meal - bit of a faff to make but tastes amazing!

< culinary credentials fly out the window> Grin

ohsoslim · 24/04/2018 11:45

Thanks @2under2survivor - have used the code- I didn't get a discount, but hopefully you'll get something!!

NoCanoe · 24/04/2018 12:18

Oooh! Great! More people joining in! Grin That's extra support, hints, tips, as well as additional consolation when things go awry!

I didnt sleep well last night - grr. And I've yet to poop! So Im a bit jealous of @Georgie!! Envy

Buxtonstill · 24/04/2018 12:24

If anyone wants 30% off your order on the Exante site, please enter this code at checkout! : EMMA-R2BD

I can thoroughly recommend the Hot Cross Bun bars! (and the Stawberry Jam and yoghurt bars )I put them in the fridge, then cut up into 8 squares. They are really chewy, and fill you up for ages.

Even without the discount above, this range is much cheaper than Lighterlife or Cambridge Diet, and much tastier. I love the convenience of taking a bar to work with me, and I don't feel deprived.

Good luck - you can do it!

ohsoslim · 24/04/2018 12:33

Regarding toilet issues, I remember taking a soluble fibre- stirred into water - no taste - was called fibreclear - worked a treat!!

NoCanoe · 24/04/2018 12:46

Ta @ohsoslim!
I definitely need to - ahem- get moving somehow. Hmm

Remote1candles · 24/04/2018 13:00

I did Exante for 9 weeks before my recent holiday and lost 22lbs. I'm back on it now and aiming to lose about the same again. I've lost the holiday weight plust another 2lbs this week.

I would take the 'average' loss of 1 stone a month with a pinch of salt. From posting on the Exante facebook page, almost no-one loses that much after the first month. I guess they get away with saying it is average, as most people don't get past the first month!

I'm finding it quite liberating, not having to think about food but it is difficult when eating with other people. I can't drink the shakes but like the bars, pancakes, gooey pudding and some of the savoury meals.

NoCanoe · 24/04/2018 13:00

Just FYI - Im just having my first strawberry shake and it is so sweet!!! Shock

Ive doubled the water and a bit more, but I'm still cringing/gurning and struggling to get it down.

We all have different tastes, I know, but if you dont like overly artificial sweet stuff, bear this in mind!

NoCanoe · 24/04/2018 13:15

@Remote - did you add extra food every 4th week? I see that is recommended. Between 200 - 600 cals of high protein low carb.

Remote1candles · 24/04/2018 13:28

Yes I did every 4th week as food week.

2under2survivor · 24/04/2018 16:04

The turkey dinner that I had for lunch was not good at all, but a bit of black pepper helped a little. Won't be re-ordering that one. Planning on having the pasta carbonara for dinner, have read bad things but I like to keep an open mind as I'm not a fussy eater (if I was I probably wouldn't be this fat...) so I may well enjoy it.

cardoon · 24/04/2018 18:38

See my previous post 2u2s Grin

cardoon Tue 17-Apr-18 22:59:48
Ugh, if your doing exante DO NOT get the turkey dinner Envy

Alwayscommuting · 24/04/2018 18:51

Hi everyone, thought I would join in. So inspiring to see so many of you doing so well. I'm on the Cambridge plan step 1b. This is me into week 8 and I've lost 2 stone 6lbs so far. I think I've probably got at least another 6 to loose.
