Hello,
I was wondering how much weight u fellow vlcd people have lost in the space of 10 weeks. I am planning to attend a friends wedding in 10 weeks and am attempting to loose weight. I am abit 5 stone overweight so i am desperate to loose some weight using exante till the wedding.
Looking forward to hearing your success stories.

Hi, can I join you all please? I started Exante for the first time on Monday and am really chuffed to say I've stuck with it 100% and am now into my 5th day.

I am extremely overweight though and have a long way to go to get where I want to be, but first challenge is 7 weeks until holiday and I'm hoping to shift a fair bit quickly. I plan to have a week off and then pick it back up after holiday and get rid of what I've gained in cocktails and all inclusive food plus more.

I had a brainwave this morning and have made some Coke Zero lollies in the DC's silicone moulds so waiting for them to freeze to see if it works as I miss ice lollies.

It’s any 8 hours that you choose, it’s the 16 hour fasting period that’s crucial. Most people just find roughly skipping ‘breakfast’ works best for them.

That’s interesting Georgie, might give that a go in a couple of weeks when I’ve settled back into it.
Caba, I think you’re a genius! I knew I should have got lolly moulds ‘for the kids’ when I saw them in the shop...amazon prime it is....

Used to do 16:8 with LCHF so thought I might try it with this

Which version of exante is everyone doing?

I started today as planned.
I nearly did a swerve, but looked at calender and thought again! I have 9 weeks now to initial event, not 10. Ugh!!

@cardoon -
Im doing the total solution. 600 cals. 3 shakes a day. At least thats the plan! Smile

Also doing total solution here. I’ve done various forms and find this is the best in terms of my willpower.

@Georgie - thats my thinking too. I need to be extra strict just to get into the correct mindset to stick it out. Too much freedom and I will just be lax.
So, for now, just shakes for me.

Another doing TS. I love the strawberry jam and yoghurt bars and I had a caramel latte frappe last night with lots of ice which was nice but very sweet. The Strawberry Delight is just like having Angel Delight- reminds me of my childhood.

Any other suggestions?

I’m doing TS too up until August hopefully, then I might introduce one low carb meal a day from that point but I’ll see how I get on. I prefer the shakes as they’re so easy and I’ve got some bars when I need something to chew on. I’ve got such a sweet tooth I’m not that keen on the savoury stuff.

Hello all, I am starting Exante Total Solution on Monday, my starting weight will be around 195lbs. I have gradually gained 4 stone over the last decade and just feel so frumpy and uncomfortable. I would be very happy with a 2 stone loss over 10 weeks.

The hardest part I think will be cooking for my husband and kids... think I'm going to stock up on things I can just bung in the oven for them for the first week or so, until my hunger/food obsession dies down.

@2under2 - Yup, thats going to be hard. Oven bunging is a good strategy!

DH has bought steak and wine tonight for our Friday dinner. He is not impressed Im refusing to partake!
Sad

Ah family support is definitely important. Can you explain to him why you need him on board? I feel lucky my dh gets it, he’s even had a go himself at one time, though doesn’t hav anything like the amount I need to lose.

Second shake done at about 5pm so just one more to go. Not feeling too bad though I think Saturday and Sunday and possible even Monday could be awful.

How did everyone else do today?

I lost 3 stone on exante vlcd in 12 weeks for my wedding. Day 3 and 4 were the hardest for me. It's tough but if you stick to it, you will feel amazing. I didn't have huge losses every week though. I lost 12.5lbs in my first week but only 3lbs the second week. You just need to make sure you have the motivation to get through the smaller losses.

Sadly I gained all the weight back after getting married.

Exante is cheaper than Cambridge diet and lots more choice too

GeorgieTheGorgeousGoat · 21/04/2018 12:58

3 stone in 12 weeks is amazing! I want to lose an average of 3lb a week so would be happy with that. A good loss followed by a lesser one would still keep me on target.

I’ve just had my first shake of day 2, banana and sitting down with dh tonight to make another order as he’s going to start on Monday.

Does anyone recommend the bars? Thinking about when we’re away from home and can’t make a shake. I’m lucky I work from home but dh doesn’t.

Great loss @ strugglingmumma! Gives us all hope!

I was going to ask about the bars too!

I’m doing ok thanks. Super crabby in the mornings but it wears off. Looking forward to hitting Ketosis!

Be careful with some of the bars.. they can make you loose! They are good for a quick fix when out and about but I found the shakes etc more filling
