koko and pebbles
Sorry to hear you're both struggling. koko it sounds like you're just not In The Zone: it's been my experience that I can only really occupy The Zone when I grudgingly force myself to be good for a bit, and then when I see results (on the scale or off it) I get this big burst of motivation and the whole thing just becomes so much easier. Forcing it for a few days is the hardest bit, and to be honest I haven't felt completely On The Wagon for a few weeks - my weigh-ins have either been disappointing or scuppered, I've managed a couple of fast days a week but my exercise has dropped off, etc. You just need a run of Really Good Days and then a glorious scale victory moment, and you'll get your head in it.
BOOP it sounds like you've had a huge inch drop! I remember when I first started losing weight, I slipped down under some kind of weird threshold and everyone suddenly started commenting on it, it was so odd as I was only a f hundred grams lighter than I had been last time I saw people - I think I must have had a similar thing, only a kilo or so on the scale but an inch off the waist or something! I was reading something a while ago about how that can happen, it's something to do with fat cells "emptying" or something.
