What's your plan for shifting the weight naughtysausage? We all have different methods here if you're stuck for ideas!

ArseyTussle · 01/02/2017 08:33

Welcome Sausage and Chilver! Come just us on our mission to minxdom.

I'm doing 16:8 and a new controversial diet called Minimal Eating of Shite. Also running like buggery.

KikisDeliveryService · 01/02/2017 08:35

boop - cheese and beer eh?! As a calorie counter that must use up your whole day's allowance pretty much?

For anyone who did dry January I am now doing dry Feb! I started early though so I'm already 12 days in. I'm trying out my theory that booze is what's stopping me from losing weight... results are inconclusive so far.

ponygirlcurtis · 01/02/2017 08:36

I like the sound of your evening, BOOP. Poorly DS is very wheezy, I suspect respiratory infection. Sad Off to the doctor for him I think. Good job today is my day off.

BitOutOfPractice · 01/02/2017 08:43

Oh no pony poor little chap. Hope he's better soon.

This evening's calorie busting shenanigans were a Christmas present to the BF. it's at a craft beer pub - his idea of heaven

OP posts:
KikisDeliveryService · 01/02/2017 08:46

Hope your DS feels better soon ponygirl.

We all need some sunshine, these days of winter drizzle are not doing anyone any good. Send some over from Aus would you Arch? My black coffee breakfast is not providing the motivation I require for my to do list today (day 'off' haha)

Naughtysausage · 01/02/2017 08:47

Ooooh hello then!
Well I think I'm going to try sugar free and an awful lot of running (jogging very slowly).
I tried 5:2 before and really liked it, but that was pre-baby. I'm not sure now I'd manage a day with only 500 calls!

You've all done so well in Jan, am looking forward to all your hard work ethic rubbing off on me...

KikisDeliveryService · 01/02/2017 08:47

The sacrifices you make in the name of love eh boop?! Beer and cheese sounds like heaven ghastly Grin

KikisDeliveryService · 01/02/2017 08:52

sausage If you're a seasoned 5:2er you'd be fine with 500 calories! The fear of hunger is much worse than the actual hunger (keep telling myself this as I fall off the fasting wagon myself). It's much harder when you're constantly prepping food for small people admittedly, but not impossible. Maybe go for some days of 16:8 with no snacking to start you off again, just to get back into the swing of it?

KikisDeliveryService · 01/02/2017 08:57

I don't usually post quite this much btw. Number of kiki posts are directly proportional to number of boring domestic jobs on my to do list today... day off my arse.

Tomorrow (also a day off) I'm treating myself to a 1 to 1 yoga therapy session to get a personalised plan to help sort my right hip issues that I've had since having babies more than a decade ago. Hoping for results where physiotherapy and osteopathy have failed. Or at least a few more things to put into my self-management toolkit (most likely outcome).

BitOutOfPractice · 01/02/2017 09:05

KiKi slefless. That's me. It's all give give give Grin

As penance I have to go to an exhibition about building today. So don't start thinking it's all glamour and beer in my life!

OP posts:
BitOutOfPractice · 01/02/2017 09:06

And damn it it's started raining again so my walk to the station looks unlikely

Good morning my lovely FEBuddies :)

11.10 this morning that means I was 11lindas down for all of January, so the end is in sight for one of my long term goals, healthy BMI. Would like to lose another stone on top of that so I can occasionally eat pizza and not feel like I have ruined my body Grin

There are many many temptations for me this month, let me list them all for you:
3rd DP's DSIS is 17, off down the pub!
4th England Rugby = pizza and beer
11th that Hen-do I was talking about in Jan
14th Valentines day Wink
18th -19th Girls weekend with my best school friends in a cottage in gloucestershire, much wine
23rd My birthday and DP's birthday
24th-27th Geneva, many many cheese...

May the gods of the scales have mercy on me!

TVHubbyClaire · 01/02/2017 09:10

BOOP thanks for creating another thread, Im sure we will all end up a bit lighter at the end of the month as a result

Kiki and quim - the hunger wasnt too bad yesterday morning and I think you are dead right about the fear of being hungry being a bigger problem. In the afternoon I had a bag of M&S popcorn stuff (120cal), I'm not sure if thats good or bad.

So I weighed in this morning...13st 1lb....I was pleased to be down three Lindas from when I started -but disappointed weight didnt begin with a 12-

I have a few social events coming up this month Wine so all in all I would be delighted to lose 7 this month which would be my lowest weight in recent memory...

Mummysh0rtlegs · 01/02/2017 09:11

So glad it's a new month. I am going to kung fu chop some Lindas this month. Really hoping I can get 7lbs gone this month. 9st12 this morning. 9st5 by the end of Feb is my aim.

BitOutOfPractice · 01/02/2017 09:15

That sounds like a great month though hairspray. D you share a birthday with your DP?

I have a couple of work lunches and a weekend cookery course! So much in my life seems to be revolving around food!

Then first weekend in March I have a 3 day work conference so I'd like to be looking slinky by then. If I can lose another 7lbs this month I'll be a healthy BMI and almost 4 stone lighter than I was at last year's conference

BeyondCanSeeTheEmperorsBellend · 01/02/2017 09:16

Morning BOOP et al. Weighing in at 224lb and planning to lose a stone in Feb. Let's see how that goes...

Breakfast - muesli, almond milk, cherries, lemon and ginger tea

KikisDeliveryService · 01/02/2017 09:17

Everyone stopped puking now I hope leggsy? Chop 'em like I do

BitOutOfPractice · 01/02/2017 09:26

My chop is more like Miss Piggy's!

Hairspray Big social month ahead! tricky. Well done Claire! You'll see that 12 something this month for sure :)

NO ONE WILL RECOGNISE YOU Boop!

Yes, a building exhibition certainly sounds like it goes towards cancelling out the fun of beer and cheese!

My fun list, which I have still yet to begin, apart from making a shopping list & meal planning for next 5 days:

Walk to bank (for fitbit steps purposes)
Grocery shop (on bicycle)
Clear out utility room so boiler man can get to the boiler tomorrow
Sort out the giant mountain of clean laundry

SO BORING.
I have a run planned this eve though. And stirfry for dinner. I should dye my hair as well.

HairsprayBabe · 01/02/2017 09:35

Yes Kiki it is very busy!
March is looking much the same as I already have two weddings lined up for then!

Yes BOOP I do share a birthday with DP, I am a year older though and he never ever lets me forget that! 25 this year! Eeek that is like a real grown-up age!

BitOutOfPractice · 01/02/2017 09:37

Hairspray I am giving you a very hard Paddington hard stare since I am exactly twice your age this year. How the bloody buggering hell did that happen to me?

OP posts:
KikisDeliveryService · 01/02/2017 09:38

I just had a '25 is a grown up? Oh good god I'm so very much older than that' moment too. You are but a tiny child hairspray!

BitOutOfPractice · 01/02/2017 09:43

Being grown up is over rated anyway

OP posts:
lastqueenofscotland · 01/02/2017 09:50

Hairspray I turned 25 this year too. It feels like an age I need to get my shit together and stop having gin for dinner on Fridays Blush
