(When I say 'used to run that fast) I'm talking about in my teens or twenties, I'm talking about being aged 39! So now I'm blaming being over 40 for everything.)

KikisDeliveryService · 18/02/2017 08:00

Ugh so many mistakes in that grumpy post. I didn't start running until I was 37 if that helps with understanding the just of it!

KikisDeliveryService · 18/02/2017 08:02

Gist ffs

ponygirlcurtis · 18/02/2017 08:15

Ah Kiki, you do sound pissed off, understandably. The whole process can get you down sometimes. It can feel like a thankless slog. Keep at it, golden days often take a few days to register anything.

TVHubbyClaire · 18/02/2017 08:15

No park run for me in fact still no running at all.....Angry

I am however off to walk for an hour or mote so at least step counter tracker thing will make good reading when DS and I are in Pret for porridge
My slenderista walking song is not park life by blur but I do have a song I can't stop singing when on my solo power walks tooBlush
Should be a good eating weekend for me if you don't count the subway dinner for DS and I tonight. Minimal or no booze either but off to Edinburgh on Wednesday for boozy lunch and afternoon before a concert which will not be so good.....

ponygirlcurtis · 18/02/2017 08:16

And fab time Arch, I can only dream of anything anywhere near that. Good going.

KikisDeliveryService · 18/02/2017 08:28

Pony not just one though - I have had golden days most days for past 3 weeks (5/7 each week) including 2 fast days per week, no junk, no booze, no days of overdoing it, great levels of exercise.

As I said to my friend - 'well yes I am really fit and strong right now which is primary target BUT I want the weight loss side effect too.' There's loads of fat on my lardy thighs and arse and enough on my belly to disguise some lovely abdominal muscles I'm sure are hiding under there.

KikisDeliveryService · 18/02/2017 08:32

I've had mostly golden days for weeks pony.

MN decided to delete another self indulgent moan so I will take that as a sign to stfu.

KikisDeliveryService · 18/02/2017 08:33

Haha, my moan appeared after all! I'm going to stop venting now. Happy Saturday everyone Grin

LiquoriceWheel · 18/02/2017 09:33

Hello, budge over for me on the weight loss wagon Smile. I'm trying to catch up with this thread. I'm not doing very well since January so I'm posting my stats to keep me on the right track. Not sure how much I want to lose but the belly fat has got to go.

Height 5'8
Weight 169lbs
BMI 25.7

I'm so sick of stuffing my face and I'm scared about wrecking my fertility with my crappy diet Sad I'm positive though! Flab-be-goneStarStarStar

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 18/02/2017 09:45

I have finally had a loss! About half a pound (woop), bringing me to a total loss of 2lbs so far for February. AF is due though so hopefully afterwards I will get a whoosh... My goal for February was to lose 5 pounds, which I may actually manage if I can just not go off the rails this weekend!

Kiki it sounds like you have done really well recently! I'm sure if you keep plugging away at it you will see results on the scales soon. It's completely understandable that you feel pissed off though.

Well done Arch on the PB! And Boop hope the parkrun went well. I am tempted to give it a go one week now! I want to get back into running, I haven't been for a couple of months because it's just been too cold outside.

Anyway I'm just having a coffee and then I will drag myself to the gym for a bodypump class.

BeyondUnderthinking · 18/02/2017 10:08

Bah buggerit. Up a Linda today. Angry

Thinking I might try a fast day today to allow for another invite to my parents (while they are in the country) tomorrow.

BitOutOfPractice · 18/02/2017 10:18

I did it. First ever park run and I feel Grin just waiting for my time to be posted. It won't be anywhere near Archie Radcliffe's though Wink

Having breakfast at the gym (small loss recorded on the scales as I pass through) now then a spot of light shopping before I pick the kids up.

In the pub for the match later which is when it all goes to hell in a handcart.

Well done boop and arch
I am so impressed by all the exercise done on this thread, I am going to start soon
As it is I have walked about 8000 steps this morning and have had a fab tasty porridge and coffee breakfast
...... Oh and half of an almond croissant..... feeling good if not any lighter

KikisDeliveryService · 18/02/2017 11:00

You survived parkliferun boop!

Where's quim? Have you recovered from the evil cold yet or has it taken you down again? Hope you're ok Flowers

BeyondUnderthinking · 18/02/2017 11:08

Oo, forgot to put my NSV for yesterday. My sister asked if I had lost weight :) I knew my face looked slimmer!!

Millie04 · 18/02/2017 11:28

Still 9 st 9.8. Same weight for 3 days now but I like to maintain the loss for at least a week before I consider it completely gone! Drank a whole bottle of Prosecco last night! Not drinking tonight though as I'm driving so think I was mentally drinking tonight's share in one sitting! Might see a negative impact on loss though in a day or two.

Millie04 · 18/02/2017 11:32

Kiki I can relate to your comment about wanting to unveil some muscle under the fat! I've swam fairly regularly for a few years now but although I think it does help body shape I still have significant wobble on my belly and underneath I can feel some muscle. Would love to get down to a weight where the muscle is actually noticeable. Expect that weight would not be a weight I could maintain for long though!

Millie04 · 18/02/2017 11:36

New swim suit arrived. It is very flattering and pulls the core in - hurrah!! It's a Speedo Fit Pinnacle Xback. Size 14 as I always have to go up a dress size for swim suits oddly. Def couldn't fit into a 12 though! £40 from Wiggle.

FreeNiki · 18/02/2017 12:10

I did body combat so far.

Tai chi and a stretch class later!

I better shift some bloody weight in the next few days.

Squiffy01 · 18/02/2017 13:05

My body doesn't seem to be used to rich food anymore. Had some bread basket and a starter last night when out to dinner then could barely touch my main cause I was so full and felt I might be ill if I put anything else in! That NEVER happens!

Off to dinner at a friends place tonight and then properly back on it tomorrow in the hopes for some sort of weight loss (that is actual weight loss not just getting rid of a gain) this weeks.

KikisDeliveryService · 18/02/2017 13:07

Sooo, we had to cancel 2 hours of training and are now baking instead Hmm

teaping · 18/02/2017 13:20

I have stayed the same this week, so really have to nail it next week! Though we did go out for a curry and I had plain chicken tikka with some veg sides and avoided the carbs so I am counting that as a win.

Prawn stir fry tonight so that shouldn't be too bad...

I'm super impressed by all the exercise. I really ought to start doing something...

ArseyTussle · 18/02/2017 16:30

Ooh, millie, that's nice. I think I'm going the tankini and shorts route.

BitOutOfPractice · 18/02/2017 16:38

32:38 was my time. Rather pleased with that. Something to aim for next time anyway
