Boop that's great for a first go!

Be warned they are addictive...

BeyondUnderthinking · 18/02/2017 17:23

Having cauli and broccoli with cheese sauce for dinner.
But lovely horrible DH has bought me a pack of chocolate raisins!!!

lastqueenofscotland · 18/02/2017 19:16

I've managed a really golden day for a Saturday! Having a big dinner because I'm doing a half marathon tomorrow so it's all fuel...

BeyondUnderthinking · 18/02/2017 19:42

Hehehe. I have been so good all day that the entire bag still brings me in under MFP goal Grin
Hopefully they'll go straight through me too!!

I had lunch out with a friend - if you are low carbing it can be really difficult to find something that's not pasta or bread based. So as usual it was salad, chicken and grilled veg which was really tasty but not massively filling. Making Joe Wicks' Goan (goan goan goan) fish curry tonight, and have grilled some Aubergine slices to have instead of crisps. and set fire to the baking paper under the grill so now my kitchen is filled with smut. For a change.

BitOutOfPractice · 18/02/2017 22:24

My team lost. I am very pissed off about it. I drank prosecco to compensate. Grump

HALF MARATHON WOWOWOWOWOWWOW Queenie that is properly amazing. I am thinking of entering one in August, but can't see myself being able to do it, no real reasons just think it's humanly impossible to run that far.

Well done BOOP on 32 mins, that's great, you must be really fit. It took me about 8 weeks of Parkrunning to get that time.

Our bastard puppy has chewed the seal of the washing machine. It is now weeing on the floor (the washing maching not the pup).

BitOutOfPractice · 18/02/2017 23:27

Queenie all the best for tomorrow. I send you every good vibe Star

Went on a long walk with dd1 this arvo, 17km up a mountain, back down again and into the village (quick stop at the pub for chips, her, and hummus, me).

Was brilliant, a bit rainy and she didn't stop talking for hours and hours but great fun.

lastqueenofscotland · 19/02/2017 08:03

Thanks both! It's training for a full so hopefully I don't find it too awfulConfused

BitOutOfPractice · 19/02/2017 09:56

Oof. Head feeling a bit fluffy. Need to stay golden and not eat all the carbs

KOKO* taebo is great fun, I love Jillian workouts too - go for it!

Chardonnay73 · 19/02/2017 10:16

Good luck with the half marathon last I can only look on in awe ! I'm halfway through c25k and had to run for 29 mins yesterday, I made it to 13 and had to stop as I was going to be sick 🙈 Still, 6 weeks ago I couldn't run for a bus so I was quite pleased with myself !
Finally had a bit of a whoosh, lost 2lbs from last week, this takes me to 5lbs to target before 15/03 and holidays.....It's going to be close but hopefully I can do it!
After I've got there I've got 2 holidays between mid March and end of April so if I start May hovering around target I will be happy. Then starts the big push for the next stone and a half before August.....Hmm

BeyondUnderthinking · 19/02/2017 10:19

Weight is bobbing around here, lost half a Linda of the Linda I put on yesterday, that I had lost the day before!

Feeling blah. I have uni work to do, but I'm just watching the kids play minecraft!!

ponygirlcurtis · 19/02/2017 10:35

Good luck lastqueen!

keepon shaking things up sounds good but you don't want to be stressing at the thought of restricted calories. Are there any other approaches you could take that wouldn't stress you out?

BitOutOfPractice · 19/02/2017 10:44

Chard I think you may have a holiday in may too. Plus a weekend away in June. Just sayin'

You know what we should do. And what would focus our minds. Arrange a 7lbs a month meet up.

Morning all. Ran today (6.8k in 63 mins, bless my little trotting hooves) so feeling good.

However, have the morning entirely to myself and I'm craving the old days when I'd go to the shop for pop and biscuits.

I'm bobbing around the same lb too. At my lowest I had a total loss of 13.4lb, so the stone is hovering in sight!

Got a bit lost on a run with a friend and accidentally ended up doing about 9k instead of planned 7! We survived and earned a pudding Shock

lastqueenofscotland · 19/02/2017 13:01

13.1 miles or 21 k whichever sounds less awful... In 2 hours flat, was aiming for 1.55 but I had a few small short sharp climbs and traffic issues (with other runners) that saw my pace dip.

Always next time!

having a light lunch and saving my cals for some pizza later tonight.

ArseyTussle · 19/02/2017 13:14

Amazing work queen! Bravo! Which marathon will you be running?

Same to you Kiki, although perhaps not on the navigation skills. Grin

lastqueenofscotland · 19/02/2017 13:20

Arsey I'm doing Manchester and Loch Ness (much later in the year... I'm telling myself it's just a trip home with a 4 hour run...)

KikisDeliveryService · 19/02/2017 13:27

In my defence arsey google maps for the area is woefully out of date. And we got a bit excited because it turned out to be a much nicer location than we thought.

Whoop! Well done queen 2hrs for 21k is a VERY respectable time. I've only ever run 10k races at most and always thought 'thank fuck I'm not doing a half marathon' as I run over the finish line! However, it might be a goal for 2018 :)
