Hi everyone. I started well on the last thread and dropped off towards the end but I'm pleased to report I lost 3kg which is very nearly 7lindas. I'm really pleased. I reckon another 2kg will put me back in my favourite jeans and able to breath. I've just been eating 5 a day with plenty of lean protein and measuring carbs.

Some great losses on here in January.

Hello ""waves"""
Can I join you all? I think half a stone would make me not obese anymore!!!
How bad can 7lbs be?
Lost a stone in January and "celebrated" the success with 3 packets of crisps ffs!

Hairspray I've tried that salted caramel green tea too - it's possibly the most disappointing purchase I've ever made. I should have known better but it promised so much and was vile! I'm afraid I hated it so much the rest of the box went in the bin!

Food wise today has been golden, cauliflower rice for lunch and chilli and green veg for dinner. I've failed completely with water though and have barely had a litre. When I get home from work I'll get on it!

Desperately hoping / pleading / praying for the scales to show some form of loss tomorrow!

I have had a totally ungolden day, but I am imagining I'll be helped along a lot by the wisdom tooth diet as they are coming out!

I popped up on January's thread but here goes. Starting weight 11st 7. 7lbs this month would be amazing.

Am I still allowed in her as a non gin drinker! I do like vodka though Blush

Aiming for low calorie and it's my snacking that's out of control.
I do have a few nights out lined up in Feb but hoping to blast some calories on my exercise bike!
I really need to do this for my mental health, I'm carrying around my divorce snacking weight - why couldn't stress make me stop eating Grin

There have been some amazing losses in January. Well done.

Oh good, I found you all! Welcome newbies!

Arch that sunset looks gorgeous.

I am having a pretty busy time at work so I am not keeping up with this thread Blush Slight silver lining is that I haven't had much time to snack! Will be weighing in on Friday, hopefully the extra pound that snuck on at the end of January will be gone by then!

I have got to start logging things on MFP before I put them in my mouth! 1300 today so 100 over where I would ideally want to be at. I'm so angry about it bloody toddler left overs are my down fall too.

Could I join please! I may have joined last year and fell face first into a tub of ice cream.
I am starting Feb 10st6. I am short though so that makes me fairly overweight. Under 10st this month would be amazing and get me in the green BMI.
I have to low calorie as I'm such a shorty and find 18:6 really helps me as I'm not a breakfast person anyway and if I eat 12-6 I avoid those pesky evening snacks...
Any exercise tips much appreciated!

And with you all on the toddler left overs. She always wants an extra buttered crumpet that she doesn't eat. Who could through away a defenceless buttery crumpet?!

I have just done some meal planning and a big online shop. Ordered miso soups to try those, and am getting the ingredients to make the Joe Wicks moussaka and the amazing-sounding chicken and sweetcorn soup from Chardonnay on the last thread.

I really find planning is helping me, I usually just order a load of whatever I fancy at the time and then have to cobble meals together and have nothing to snack on. And. I am trying to keep my water levels high.

Morning all. Have my February start weight of 11.7.6 - I definitely need to drop 7 pounds this month! I'm doing a 2 steps forward, 4 steps back shuffle at the moment. Have to quit the chocolate & crisps habit (of course it would help if I didn't keep buying themBlush)
Thanks for the welcomes yesterday, determined to have a successful month if it kills me

Got a super golden day planned today!

No breakfast, soup for lunch and pearl barley risotto for dinner.

Had my wisdom teeth pushed back till tomorrow but want to atone for the sins of everything I ate yesterday Blush
Dreaming of seeing the 9st bracket this month.

Hopefully out for wine tonight, so it'll have to be a super good day to allow a bottle into my calories. Just had my muesli, will have something salad-y for lunch

Morning all, Welcome aboard Plum

11.10 again this morning, I feel like the scales know it is a new month and are trying to demotivate me!

I tend to stick around one weight for a week then have a week where it just falls off, and there seems to be very little rhyme or reason to it! I have heard that dairy can slow down losses when one is low carbing as lactose is a sugar so I might try that next week, although I love cheese and usually have yogurt for lunch so will need to totally re-imagine my diet!

Morning all, and welcome newcomers. Went out for a run this morning even though the rain was coming down sideways. Feeling very virtuous now, am steaming gently in the house while I wait for a hot bath to fill.

Morning runners, do you run on an empty stomach? I normally have a banana beforehand, but that breaks my 16:8.

Report
lastqueenofscotland · 02/02/2017 08:59

Arsey I do my morning runs on empty and it's never been too much of an issue!
