Anyone looking to lose 100lbs plus in 2017?

Just that really. I promise myself every year that I'm going to do it then I'm sat here every fucking year still not having done it.

I think I probably need to lose around 150lbs tbh but I thought it might be helpful to have a 100lbs plus thread for anyone in a similar boat to me.

How are you planning on doing it? I am restarting Weight Watchers (at home on the app), clean-ish eating and setting myself a daily step goal. Am also moving house in January/February which helps (in my mind) with the fresh start ethos.

mirabelle thank you. Sounds like a plan. Yes I am putting off taking kids to theme park for those very reasons. Don't want to embarrass myself by being to big for the rides. Going for a long treasure hunt today so hopefully will burn off some more calories.

MirabelleTree · 01/05/2017 07:07

Have you got a Fitbit type thing? Might just be me but I find it very helpful knowing my calorie burn as helps me balance things really easily.

iloveredwine · 01/05/2017 07:13

Yes I have a fit bit and mostly do the 10000 steps a day especially on the school run as it's a 25 min walk each way twice a day.

MirabelleTree · 01/05/2017 07:21

Well done ! Toil me some time to work up to 10k.

I don't know Notanurse. I have found mine to be accurate though, maybe slightly underestimating with emphasis on the slightly. I have been eating based on losing a 2lb a week loss with the exception of one week where I went for a pound and I'm pretty much exactly there, something like 2.16lbs if you take an average.

NoTractorsAtTheTable · 02/05/2017 18:06

Is anyone else absolutely starving this week? (I know it's only Tuesday, but still!)

I'm blaming it on my work schedule - I usually get 30-40 mins for lunch, which gives me time to eat and read afterwards. At the moment I'm getting more like 15 minutes and I swear my body is objecting to not getting some quiet after eating.

I think it's convinced that as I'm super busy, I must be doing a triathlon or something and so must eat 500000 calories a day Grin I'm resisting the urge, but boy am I grumpy for doing so!

I have also been a bit hungry yesterday. I'm going for a pound this week rather than 2 with the holiday plus other things going on. Yesterday was basically a neutral day where I was pretty much bang on coming in at 35 calories under what I burned off.

Gallbladder kicking off again. I just have to hang in there for 3 more weeks.

Morning all. Had official weigh in at the docs this morning and down 2lbs. Bit pissed off, this is over two weeks and I've been sooooo good, so did expect a bit more. This is the first two weeks, where normally I'd lose half a stone.

Need to get over myself and hope for a better weigh in in 2 weeks time.

Don't be too pissed off Sausage - it's still a win! A consistent 2lbs makes so much of a difference, it really does add up.

We're getting close to the end of the thread now - so don't all chat too much! I'll set up the new one later today Smile

MirabelleTree · 04/05/2017 11:16

I didn't have an MRI scan NotaNurse, I've had two ultrasounds instead. Sorry, I know that doesn't help at all.

Sausage hang in there. I lost 1lb the first week and also felt really frustrated but things picked up and the pounds add up . Sometime I think it takes your body a bit of time to catch up.

iloveredwine · 04/05/2017 11:35

I weighed myself yesterday and dropped 2lbs but back up one today so going to wait till Tuesday before making anything official as seem to go up and down but being good 90% of the time!

Callmesausage · 04/05/2017 11:39

Thanks, have given myself a talking to! Will up the water too, that
Might help.

Hopefully the scales will be kind next Tuesday iloveredwine.
