So I've managed to pick up half a stone from somewhere and need to lose it so starting tomorrow going to try...

Not doing anything special just going to eat less and move more.

Who's with me? I have a Fitbit and am willing to challenge anyone Grin

Count me in! No Fitbit here as have a 6mo and finding out how many hours I sleep a night might upset me Grin

Unthoughtknown · 30/04/2016 13:38

I was thinking of doing the 26 miles in May for the bhf

DeepFriedFlamingo · 30/04/2016 13:50

Shall we have weekly weigh-ins? I'm not bothered about sharing my weight but others may be so we can post changes as opposed to actual weight?

Looking forward to getting back on the wagon after losing 2.5 stone post baby

yes me. I started low carbing ( to an extent) last week, and I've lost a measly 1lb.

I think I need to do more low carbing and less "to an extent" from now on.
Half a stone would be perfect. :-)

Lunar1 · 30/04/2016 14:30

Count me in. 7lbs sounds doable!

PresidentCJCregg · 30/04/2016 14:33

I really want to do the 26 miles in May too! I've lost 12 pounds as of today but really want to shift the same again by June.

SevenNationArmy · 30/04/2016 14:35

Ooh yes me! I also have a Fitbit and would love some challenges!

PrincessStrop · 30/04/2016 14:54

Me! I've got my fitbit ready!

Thankfulforeveryday · 30/04/2016 14:55

Me. I've got 7lbs to get to my original goal weight which I never seem to get too so a kick up the arse would be fantastic! I have a Fitbit too! Don't know what the 26mile thing is but it sounds interesting??

DeepFriedFlamingo · 30/04/2016 18:17

Shall we do this too then? 26 miles for May

Ok. I'm in. I often go on Thread's like this but am too lazy to keep up with them - I know I can do it for a month though!

Going on holiday at half term, so have until then to shift half a stone. I'm determined :)

DeepFriedFlamingo · 30/04/2016 20:57

Yep, just 31 days to see how we do, not going crazy with calorie counting or any other stuff, just bought a treadmill and plan on using it most every day 😄

Please can I join? I keep on lapsing but this might keep me on track.

hate publicising my weight though

lastqueenofscotland · 30/04/2016 21:50

Me I ran the London marathon last week I ate huge amounts the week before for justifiable reasons... I've not stopped. I'll hop on the scales tomorrow and horrify myself I'm sure!!

Ni58 · 30/04/2016 22:06

I need to do this! Will weigh myself in the morning - hope the scales will be kind to me!!

DeepFriedFlamingo · 30/04/2016 22:12

No need to publish your weight at all, can post weight changes every week or even results at the end if you like Grin

Me!

Hrafnkel · 01/05/2016 07:08

Morning all!

Still feeling determined: got up at 5am and went for a 5-mile walk. I've been doing this for a couple of weeks now. Dh in bed after a night out so I had to do it early before the girls woke up. A beautiful day out there.

Now drinking camomile tea. I give up most dairy this time of year as it exacerbates my hay fever.

Had breakfast: a big salad of spinach, edamame beans and bean sprouts.

I really this all sounds impossibly goody goody; I'm expecting to have fish and chips later as we're visiting friends at the seaside.

Hrafnkel · 01/05/2016 07:09

Oh! 10st8 as of yesterday. Target is 10 exactly.

DeepFriedFlamingo · 01/05/2016 07:14

Lovely walk Hraf, would love to go for a walk in the mornings but have kids and a DH that works away.

I'm 11st 9lb, would like to be 11st exactly come the end of May but would be happy with 7lb

Count me in, 11st 5lb at moment.

sleeplessinselondon · 01/05/2016 07:46

I'm in, although have friends coming for lunch today and a pork belly joint in the oven... 12stone 8 this morning and want to get to 12, fit bit coming for my birthday next week...

indigo88 · 01/05/2016 08:24

I like your style Hre. Yep. Count me in. Also want to get to 11 stone. Just had a rant on 'What makes it difficult to lose weight' so all fired up. Also inspired by a runner's post (with before and after pics) in the exercise thread. Like the 26 mile challenge. Will think of a system for raising the donation against myself. Off to replace trainers and sports bra. Also pluck up courage to get daughter to take the start / before pic. Think that can act as a focus for commitment.

lastqueenofscotland · 01/05/2016 08:37

139 lbs, half a stone would see me back to normal!
