I'm in too Smile ....today weigh in 11st 5lb and desperate to lose the 1/2 a stone I have put on last month. I have already registered for the 26 miles in May and plan on going for a run tonight. Planning on getting my daughter involved too

SevenNationArmy · 01/05/2016 10:36

9st4 this morning and id like to be 8st10 by the end of the month... Not sure how achievable that is but I can try! Weekends are my problem, I'm fine all week then go wild on Friday night and carry on til Monday morning, need to try and get over that really!

Welcome everyone, not going to make a list of everyone's weight...it's going to be different next week anyway Grin

So far so good today, just had lunch and went for a walk around our local park.

Don't know about anyone else but I need to be in the right frame of mind to lose weight, I have my mojo back and looking forward to being able to put a lovely frock on for a wedding tat I'm attending

9st7lb this morning. Will aim for 9st2lb by the end of the month.

cathyandclaire · 01/05/2016 13:04

OOOhh me, me, me!
I lost lots of weight low carving but lots of stress at home and too much wine and a constant infusion of milky coffees have meant I've put on 10lb in just a few weeks and I feel horribly puffy and bloated. I'm short, so my numbers don't look to bad- but the squidgy tummy, dimply thighs and grey complexion are real.
I'm going to low carb but without the vast quantities of nuts and dark chocolate I have been shovelling in.
Day one- 8 stone 13. Really want to be 8 stone 5 by June 1st.

AugustRose · 01/05/2016 13:35

Ooh can I join please. I am 10st 8lbs and go on holiday in exactly 7 weeks and would really like to be 10st when we go.

I have been cutting down on the bad really tasty food for a few weeks and started step/aerobics twice a week. I would like to add a bike ride to that but haven't been on my bike for years so we'll see :)

cathyandclaire · 01/05/2016 13:46

^^Okay carbing too bad, obviously my brain's got flabby too!

MissWimpyDimple · 01/05/2016 14:01

I'll join too please! I'm going on holiday in 28 days time and I've managed to let half a stone creep on. I'm 5'2" and weigh about 10st 4lbs which as I've got a small frame and am very very pear shaped.

I've just been away on a very very boozey work trip and Felt uncomfortable with my
Weight the whole time. I just want to be about 9st 10.

I've got the weight watchers app and I think I'll start with that.

Is the Fitbit worth it? I tend to look at my iPhone app for an idea of activity levels but obv it's not always with me...

PetersonPeterson · 01/05/2016 14:05

Me too please. 10st 6, would like to be just under 10st to be back to pre baby weight.

lastqueenofscotland · 01/05/2016 19:50

I've been picking too much today to work out how much I've eaten but I'm going to start keeping a food diary on here if anyone is with me!

Cjbusymummy · 01/05/2016 20:25

How are you lovely ladies planning on losing the weight? I've also been so down about my weight gain after having two babies back to back. I'm determined to get back to my prepregnancy weight. So far I'm down 1 stone in a month. Just need the motivation to keep going 😩

DeepFriedFlamingo · 01/05/2016 21:11

No plan as such but today I've stuck to healthy choices, no sweets chocolate or cake. Made sure I've done my 10k steps too

DeepFriedFlamingo · 01/05/2016 21:12

Cjs well done on a stone, keep going...we'll cheer each other on Grin

I'm loosely following weight watchers. If you stick to it, there is usually around an average of 2lbs a week. Of course you have to stick to it with is bloody difficult!

Been ok today though so fingers crossed... I'll weigh in on Thursdays I think as that tends to work out better for me!

RainbowFlower24 · 01/05/2016 22:00

Hello. I'd like to join please. I'm 11 stone 11 lb and I'd like to be 10 stone but that's a bit ambitious so 7lb seems like a reasonable first goal

RainbowFlower24 · 01/05/2016 22:01

I've not got a plan yet of how to achieve this other than moving more and stopping the high sugar food and drinks.

SevenNationArmy · 01/05/2016 22:15

I have had a terrible first day including an unplanned dominos... HOWEVER everyone knows that diets can only start on a Monday so I will be starting properly tomorrow! Hope everyone had a better start than me BlushGrin

holidaysarenice · 01/05/2016 22:22

I'm in too please! Will start post bank holiday and have an event at the end of May that would be fab to shift some weight for!

indigo88 · 01/05/2016 22:25

day 1 and stuck to my resolve of No3S (seconds, snacks and sugar off the spoon), Day 1 of C25K and an afternoon nap. Tiredness triggers comfort eating and always my downfall. Not peckish going to bed so know what I've eaten will be beyond what I need to lose weight. A good day if I've stayed off the sweet stuff.

TooMuchRain · 01/05/2016 22:31

I'd like to join too, please! This sounds great as I'd like to lose a stone by July because I can't get in my summer clothes at the moment. This stone just piled on over winter. I've started tracking what I eat and exercise with myfitnesspal

teacher1984 · 02/05/2016 02:20

Joining in!

Holiday in June, currently 8.12, would like to be 8.4 by 1st June so that's 8 pounds to lose. Definitely doable as currently eating whatever I want when I want.

PetersonPeterson · 02/05/2016 08:26

I also have baby weight to shift- 4 babies in 6 years, although have worked really hard and lost weight in between pregnancies I always gain 3+ stone when pregnant and don't lose any breastfeeding. Youngest is 6 months, I am eating small, healthy meals, lots of veg, have cut out chocolate and unhealthy snacks totally, am running 3x per week and making sure I do 10,000 steps. Have been sticking to this for 3 weeks and feel I better shape but have only lost a couple of pounds so far. Need motivation to keep going, it's hard work as I'm tired all the time and want to eat!

PetersonPeterson · 02/05/2016 08:27

Sorry, using my fitness pal to track it all.
