Yes please @WinterOnItsWayOut, I'm fascinated to know about the tablets but suspect they won't be what I opt for long-term. Still here and still struggling to get the last 4lb off with MJ. I might be swayed though...

Ps NSV: Had to have a hip steroid injection last month and was told if I'd not lost weight they would have had to use a longer needle than the 3.5inch standard one 🫣

Can I ask why you don’t think you’d consider tablets long term?

I don’t think I’d continue on the Wegovy tablets as they just don’t seem to be ‘me’. Can’t really explain but hoping the MJ tablets are more my thing 🤞

Definitely interested in the tablets. Done 6 weeks restarted on 2.5 which I lost loads on first time round and barely shifted the needle. I've doubled up to a 5 dose this week but if that doesn't have any impact I need to look at something else. I cant afford the jabs really, and definitely not if theyre now ineffective. I still get suppression but not the aversion to alcohol or boredom snacking I had initially.

@WinterOnItsWayOut I was so excited about the pills at first but having done the maths they won't work out much cheaper for me as I'm click counting to make my pen last longer, and still using 5mg pens, so there's not much difference in cost. I'm a bit nervous about efficacy as the pills aren't dual agonists and there's a bit of 'if it ain't broke don't fix it' with the MJ - I know it works for me and trust that I'll get to goal eventually! If the pills become a lot cheaper I'll change my mind and try them for maintenance. Good luck, hope they work for you.

@RhaenysRocks I think you've probably got nothing to lose trying pills if the MJ still isn't working. Maybe try 5mg one more time then review it?
