My supplier takes orders but cannot guarantee August deliveries (ordered Wednesday before the news and arrived Friday, so thankful I did) . Ordered another pen from another supplier as a new customer and said 5 days for clinical approvals , think it will be declined in the end as got a 60£ discount code reducing a 15 pen to 145£ (amount still pending in account too) but let’s see (ordered Thursday evening)

New supplier approved 😀 now just hope it arrives by Thursday (estimated Wednesday) so that I can put in fridge before hols.

meaning I have currently a supply of 9 weeks (although the latest pen is a 15 mg and might order another 12.5 before going onto 15 mg but with new price as I’m only taking first 12.5 end of next week)

MisfitMagpie · 18/08/2025 14:45

I'm on holiday so unable to order any more mounjaro until next week, only on 5mg so hopefully this will still be in stock (normally would have ordered this week).
The other downside is not being able to weigh myself, I've got in the habit of this so seems strange not to be able to add it to my tracker.

TheBossOfMe · 19/08/2025 12:49

@MisfitMagpiewhen I’ve been away and not able to weigh myself, I’ve taken a measuring tape and measured myself instead. My waist measurement is fairly “elastic” and is a fairly good indicator of whether I’m gaining.

Missed weigh day yesterday so weighed this morning. Still holding steady. I’ve got half a pen already open and then one more in the fridge, after that I think I’m going to stop MJ. I don’t feel like I’m getting any suppression at all now that I’m back on 2.5mg every other week so keen to see if that’s true and I can manage without it. I’m going to go down even further to 1.25mg next jab, and keep it at that until my pens run out. And then keep everything crossed!

Bipaloss · 19/08/2025 21:19

Watched the biggest looser documentary (Netflix) interesting that 2 mentioned they on WLI . The slowing of metabolism part hit me though , that a fast weightloss can have a future impact on weight increase (especially as they mentioned you have to cut 800 kcalories to maintain) . But also the mention that working out can have an impact on hunger , I truly believe this as when I was at my skinniest skipping meals etc I used running as a escape from hunger, not healthy mindset at all but put things into perspective that when I reduce for maintainance eventually that I need to up my excersize but to a level that is sustainable . My biggest fear is the regain even from the weight I am now.

on a two week work break and leaving for a holiday (Cornwall) on Friday. So far this week I’m loosing even on the days I normally gain (that too with TOTM coming in a few days) . Having wine but but eating less but next week there will be a few meals out etc so let’s see, taking my last 10mg on Thursday and going up to 12.5 the following Friday when I’m back.

A loss is a loss . You didn’t stall or gain 🤗and you lost almost 1 lb (0.45 kg is a lb) and 1-2 lb is the healthy rate of loss

Thank you for this. I’m in the gym and I get my body composition done once a month and the difference in body fat, visceral fat and muscle mass in the last month is quite astonishing. Just need to keep trusting the process. Very hard not to rely too much on the scales though. Without it, I pile on, with it, I get anxious if it’s not moved, can’t win. And I work out a lot, always have done, didn’t stop me piling on the weight once I reached 42.

Yellowsubmarine55 · 20/08/2025 09:27

Just quickly checking in as summer holidays are taking over and I'll be glad when they're over and back to routine!

Chuffed with a 2.2lb loss last week so I'm now very much into the 11's at 11 stone 12lb 🙂. So a totally loss of around 47lb.

Off hiking the hills with the kids today which would have killed me 6 months ago but now it's so much easier.

Have a great week everyone x

RuthEvershedforPM · 20/08/2025 12:23

Weighed in today - still progressing and nearly there

SW 82.6
CW 59.3
GW 54

80% of the way there and hoping I can make the money work to continue a bit longer. Doing loads of exercise which should help. 😬

@Yellowsubmarine55 I'm definitely noticing the difference when our and about with the kids now I'm not carting round an extra 33 pound. I feel like I'm more engaged now rather than always looking for the nearest bench for a rest 😔 trying not to feel bad that i wasn't this active before but I'm realising more and more that my weight and overeating was never my fault as mj is fixing whatever it is that caused me to overeat.

Anyway, onwards and downwards!

I'm starting to wonder if 6.25 is too strong 🤔 I did 1 week of 7.5 and that was definitely too strong so I'm in my third week now of 6.25 and the suppression is super high and I just don't fancy anything. I'm forcing myself to eat but then I feel sick. Eggs were a staple on lower doses but now they make me retch 🤢

But then, 5mg was wearing off as I was on it for 13 weeks so I definitely felt it was time to move up.

Don't know what to do 😂

Puddingpiper · 20/08/2025 22:22

@Fatmumslim01could you try going back to 5mg and see how you feel. If it isn’t enough top up with 1.25mg 3-4 days later?

I’ve also just binged The Biggest Loser documentary it made for interesting watching. The potential long term impact on metabolic rate after a large weight loss was interesting and concerning, shows how MJ and similar may be a life long solution unless you can maintain how you are eating. I suppose it is accepting what your new normal is.

I am in the stubborn stall around 90kg bouncing around by the same 0.5kg for the past few weeks. It seems to be a set point my body needs to break.

MJ122025 · 21/08/2025 09:58

Lowest weight on the scales today and 28.8lbs lost..9lbs to go.

I left it 10 days between jabs this time and felt ok so will try that again. Have one more dose in 7.5mg pen left. Then a 7.5mg pen coming in two weeks and a 5mg at the end of September. Am going to start moving down the doses with a view to being off before christmas.

I feel amazing and the sz14 jeans I bought in June are loose and need a belt. I also bought a size 12 jacket!! This really is life changing.

soupforbrains · 21/08/2025 10:10

@Yellowsubmarine55@Fatmumslim01yes im so much less out of breath on the stairs and when stomping up hills with the dog. Additional I have an old knee injury from my competitive days, and it used to have flair up or just give me background pain a lot and that has hugely reduced. It’s great because the knee injury particular was one of my motivations for sorting out my weight.

great work @MJ122025youre almost there now!

I still have almost 5 stone to lose so a long way for me. But despite my stalling recently this week looks like it’s shaping up to be an ok one. However, I am off to San Marino this evening for the weekend so not convinced the weight trend this week will stay in the right direction.

I will however be packing my scales and MJ as always.

Beinthepresent · 21/08/2025 10:24

Weigh in day for me. Lost a kilo this week.
Sw 104.9

I was feeling a bit panicky earlier in the week as my supplier Farmeci aren't being very supportive. After sending an email Friday saying we could order more pens on our next order. They emailed back Monday saying they had no stock. I already had an order ready for 24th August and I'm not even sure I'm going to get that! I ended up doing an order with Superdrug and IQ doctor out of desperation for my next pen. Superdrug was approved yesterday to collect Saturday and IQ doctor is moving today. I've ended up paying less with both for a 10mg than Farmeci as they also said they were stopping price matches which means £173 for 7.5mg. if they ever get back to me I'm going to cancel the one due 24th. The pharmacies that have given their prices don't seem to be as bad as originally thought. Still incredibly awful to go up roughly a hundred to what we pay now though. Looks like so many people are at maintenance or getting very close. Still another 20+ kilos for me yet.

Week 25 for me!

This week has been another good week and I have lost 2lbs, it took me 9 weeks to lose 9lbs and I have lost 5lbs in 3 weeks.

SW 13st 4lbs
TW 9st
CW 9st 7lbs
Total lbs lost 53 or 24kg the equivalent to a southern sea otter.

Fairfaxandflavor · 22/08/2025 15:08

1lb gone this week 🙁, so 9 2
I've been trying to go for 8 days in between jabs but 5 days in and the hunger was back so jabbed 5m on day 7.
Started 12 7
Current 9 2
G. 8 7
Slow a f this week, despite being strict as ever, the hunger was back big time, managed to stave off with boiled eggs and water, but I hate that feeling of being obsessed with food that just goes away as soon as I jab, it's like a relief feeling and almost instant,
It makes me feel uneasy as I wanted to taper off and stop eventually.
I've caved and ordered another pen, god knows if it will turn up, but it was from my original provider so no faffing about with tape measures and crap, fingers crossed it turns up.

Imissgoldengrahams · 22/08/2025 17:22

I have name changed but I've been around on the March thread
Struggling to find 10mg anywhere so I am panicking a little bit
However I did a comparison photo.
White tshirt photo was taken in April
3stone 13lb gone
Hoping I can get one more pen before deciding about maintenance

That's an amazing difference @Imissgoldengrahams, you must be thrilled!

Another 1lb lost this week.

SW: 14st

CW: 10st 12lbs

GW: 10st 7lbs

Very close to goal now but I'm about to go on holiday for a week so who knows what the scales will say on my return! I did just weigh my suitcase though and it's 16kg. It blew my mind that I have lost more than that and was carrying that weight around every day.

Aboutmeabouttime · 22/08/2025 20:12

I’m posting for info as MedExpress emailed me (I’ve had my last two pens from Oushk though)…

This morning, decided to weigh and now 90kg. From 252lbs to 198lbs!! Just 2.4lbs short of 4stones since March.

An amazing loss well done. What is your target weight and what date did you start in March?

I am 3lbs off 4 stone lost and my weight loss has really stalled since 23rd May I know this date as it was the day before my sons wedding. I have only lost 1st 2lbs in that time.

I started on the 5th of March at 18stones 🙈. My target was between 70kg and 75kg, however, I’ll see how I feel when I’m there then reassess. It didn’t seem possible before and now it does. Well done on your loss.

Ingangoolie · 23/08/2025 13:04

Some great numbers here, @northernlight20 @GameOfJones and all, well done everyone, keep going

@TheSpoonyNavyReader that sounds frustrating given your loss until mid May, though it’s working out as 1lb a week loss since then, not half bad even if slower.

Another 1lb off here as well this week
SW 13st 3lb
CW 10st 5lb
GW 9st

soupforbrains · 23/08/2025 13:59

Sigh still bobbing around 16st10

i lost 1lb this week so right direction but I’m a little frustrated as I was at 16st8 the last few days. Hopefully it’s a sign that I’m about to break though this plateau.

p.s. San Marino is beauts.
