I’ve been titrating down from 12.5 by reducing the dose every month. So far I’ve managed to maintain even over Christmas. Halfway through my 5mg pen and still at goal weight which is positive. I am definitely feeling a lot hungrier but continue to try to be mindful with this, back to tracking calories to keep me on the right lines because I’ve noticed I am more prone to snacking. I plan to go down to 2.5mg next month but will see how the rest of this one pans out

edited to add numbers!
SW 96.1kg
GW 65kg
CW 62.5kg
height 167cm

Aboutmeabouttime · 24/01/2026 09:31

Back to pre-Christmas weight this morning! Yay! Been taking 1.25 weekly and eating ok but not strictly to 1200 cals… going to try and keep this up and see if I can go a bit lower as BMI is 24.5 so not much wiggle room! I’d like this to be the top of my weight range. Really must move my body more! Office move has meant working from home all January so not even any commuting day steps :(

Aboutmeabouttime · 24/01/2026 09:34

@northernlight20. Wow! Amazing achievement! And well done to everyone else finding their way still - be it losing or figuring out maintenance. With a year coming up we’ll have to celebrate!

PoundsLost · 24/01/2026 09:53

I’m still trying to lose - not quite in a healthy BMI yet but 4 stone off since March. A long stall before Christmas and then most of 1 stone off in the last month. But stalled again now and fine with that though I would like to be under 25 BMI.

I need to refocus on protein. All the socialising means carbs. I am going to have to stay on this for life though I think.

edited to add clarity!

Fatmumslim01 · 24/01/2026 13:04

Hi all not been on here for a while, I'm still plodding along, weight loss is really slowing down now but my BMI is still 29.5 so I really need to lose some more weight!

Currently on 12.5mg, am debating going up to 15 on my next pen.

Weighed in at 10-10 this morning so am so close to a 4 stone loss!

Buscake · 25/01/2026 17:20

Today I bagged up all my larger size clothes including the in between ones I bought over the summer (I’ve gone from size 18 to size 10). 7 massive bags full, including suits and all sorts! I hung onto it all for a while ‘in case’ but I think if I do put weight back on I’ll probably buy new clothes again? A lot were from Vinted but I cba to sell! Always feel great after a clear out but this felt really lovely. In the past clothes were basically whatever comfortably covered me. Now I think about what looks good, what makes me feel good etc. this has all coincided with leaving a long marriage, and my life has changed in almost every single possible way. But to have transformed my body the way I have is something I didn’t think I would ever be capable of. Confidence and self esteem is through the roof compared to where it used to be. So just wanted to share this feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment with others going through a similar journey.

TheBossOfMe · 26/01/2026 10:04

@Buscake That's so inspiring to read, thank you for sharing!

I got my new pen on Saturday so jabbed 2.5mg immediately. And the impact was felt very quickly, snoring immediately stopped and lower back pain receding already. Inflammation, be gone.

PoundsLost · 26/01/2026 10:23

I’m too scared to throw all my fat clothes. I’m putting them in the attic and hope to never see them again. Funeral outfits and a pair of jeans for every size anyway.

Now 4stone and a pound off as of this morning. Protein and no dinner in the evening seems to help.

Yellowsubmarine55 · 27/01/2026 17:46

Lovely reading every update that's been posted.

@Buscake thanks for sharing your news, I agree with you about self confidence increasing as we all slim down. It's like I'm no longer invisible anymore!

I've got rid of the fat clothes as I'm never ever going back to having to dress in plus size, shapeless black clothes again.

Having said that, I've not been here since before Christmas as nothing changed on the scales. After the fanfare of reaching 5 stone I lost and gained the same pound or two. Sooo frustrating!

I have 7lb to normal BMI but it's taking ages and I have decided to lose a bit more as a buffer. 1.4lb off this week so I'm on the move again whoop whoop 🎉

Not going to lie but all these sensational daily fail stories about people gaining more when they come off are scary. Yes I need to not read them but I was thinking of getting rid completely as opposed to doing a maintenance dose for months on end but not sure now!

Decisions decisions......🤔

Ingangoolie · 27/01/2026 19:22

@Buscake same, it’s a bit scary, would like to think I’ll go it alone but starting to think it might be tricky. There’s the whole brain shift I’ve had since March that I’m concerned would wear off, the me who doesn’t question that I’m going to the gym, it’s just what I do. That’s the me I want to stay. Can this remain without MJ? And then the whole inflammation dampening, thinking this is worth continuing with a maintenance dose.

Ingangoolie · 27/01/2026 20:55

@Buscake apologies it was @Yellowsubmarine55 i was responding to, oops

TheSpoonyNavyReader · 27/01/2026 20:57

Hi all

i have been reading but not posting as life has been really hard at the moment.

I have finally gone under 9st it has taken me 8 months to loss 20lbs. The weeks that I did not lose anything I have still lost inches.

SW 13st 4lbs
CW 8st 10lbs
GW 8st 7lbs goal has changed from 10st, 9st 7lbs, 9st and now 8st 7lbs

I am now wearing size 8 clothes.

Morning all, posting for accountability. Upped my weight lifting since the start of the year. The loss was starting to slow, but imagine my shock when I’ve weighed this morning and lost 3lbs!!
sw 114.4kg
cw 67.6kg
gw 62kg
can’t believe I only have 5kg to lose, only 2lb off a 7 n half st loss. I just simply can’t wrap my head around the fact that I’ve been able to stay consistent and actually do this. It’s definitely been a miracle for me.

DeftGoldHedgehog · 28/01/2026 11:44

SW 13st 4lbs
CW 11 2lbs
GW (new) 10st 7lbs

I had got down briefly to 11 stone on 15mg (BMI 24 - my original goal), had been maintaining around 11st 2lbs for a little while on 7.5mg, weight went up to more like 11st 5lbs at Christmas, now it seems to be back at 11 2 again. I still want to get down to 10 st 7lbs to have some more wriggle room, and have gone back up to 10mg for my next dose. Hoping to do it fairly quickly though, and be ten stone something very soon (not been there since 2007, by the way). Have done very well and felt good in the last couple of weeks and have stopped feeling starving and wanting to eat all the time which was entirely down to Christmas eating and drinking!

Bipaloss · 28/01/2026 22:48

Hello all,

congrats OP for getting under 9st and for everyone near or at goal!

so I lost another almost 2lb this week so on track but I feel like MJ is getting super strong but not reflecting in the weight loss. Considering I’m a lot smaller now than in 5mg the first time it’s hitting me very differently! First time I had dizziness on 5mg this time some wooziness , 0 appetite but when I eat I can eat full portion etc

but one major thing is PMS OMG the anxiety I had over the past week was completely deliberating! I am in the process of buying my first home and couldn’t stop thinking about it being a mistake, finding fault and not trusting the process , really heartbreaking considering it’s been a dream for more than 10 years! The. Totm arrived 5 days early with a vengeance of everything that comes with it and today the day after I’m as positive as anyone can be . This enxiaty worrying for me and considering giving up and handing in the towel but then I saw GP today due a lump (you notice things after big weight loss!) and although no concern at all the amaze on her when I told about my weight loss and she said just stick with the program , gave me so much empowerment!
I had enxiety on first round but nothing on this scale , I’m now in two minds of reducing and maintain or continue 😩

Tormundsbeard · 30/01/2026 00:53

To recap on my MJ journey, I started in March at 201lbs, had a couple of months on 5ml, but mainly 2,5ml and got down to my target weight of 160lbs in September. No real side effects other than diarrhoea. afterwards I took 2.5ml every two weeks or so for a bit, but haven’t had a dose for ages. Pretty sure it is completely out of my system now.
basically I carried on losing weight.

I am now 152/153lbs whichis just over the weight I was my whole adult life until the menopause weight piled on. I am 60 now. I do feel hungrier now, but I have lost the snacking habit that caused me to gain the weight in the first place. My portion sizes have remained sensible, and I eat protein based meals with not many carbs.
i did notice at a meeting this week I ate biscuits which I wouldn’t have done when on MJ, but it was getting near lunch and I was hungry. Wouldn’t happen at home as I don’t have biscuits in the house.
i’ll continue to monitor my weight, but I am so happy to be a size 12 again, I really hope that I will continue to stay at this level as I have for the last three months post MJ.

Spondoolie · 30/01/2026 07:27

Morning all

Just thought I would check in

SW: 14
CW: 10’6
GW: 8’2

due to finances, I haven’t been on MJ since November and my eating got out of control. I’m 50 so it is no surprise to me. This has been my whole life and MJ changed that.

i was 9’8 before Christmas so am a bit gutted but back on MJ now. I did most of last year on 7.5 and they would only give me 5 due to the break so will do this pen and then go back to 7.5. I feel absolutely fantastic and will do what I need to do to maintain that! I am a completely different person, my place in the world feels different and my confidence is something I have never had before.

i am happy that i will lose this 2 stone easily, especially with the break. Even in a few hours of jabbing, the thought of eating has disappeared. It is such a relief.

I can’t say I understand the science but there is definitely a physiological element to it as the difference is remarkable.

i am a big walker and can go for hours now and the hills pose no challenge. I used to plan routes to avoid the uphills!

Lovely to see everyone else’s updates and happy to say I will stay on this forever (finances permitting!) as it is worth every penny

lastapache · 30/01/2026 11:17

Hi All

Three months maintaining a 60lb loss (205lbs to 145lbs, 5'7").

I had titrated down from 12mg a week to 7.5mg every ten days during November and December. I found that the appetite increased quite a bit during this period, and I put on 3lbs over Christmas. I had planned to titrate down slower, but just with the cost of everything over Christmas I was trying to stretch out my pen for as long as I could. Anyway, I went back to 7.5mg every week and the 3lbs have come off, and I'm 145/146 most days.

I'm due to go for surgery next Thursday (tummy tuck and diastasis repair) so I have to take a two week break before D-Day. No massive increase in appetite yet, and I'm hoping I can take my next shot immediately after surgery. I'm nervous about what effect a two week break might have on appetite but hopefully it's not long enough to reset anything.

ReluctantCustomer · 30/01/2026 12:42

Hi all. I’ve had to stop Mounjaro as I have a lumpectomy and lymph node removal coming up soon, with radiotherapy and hormone therapy to follow. My consultant was delighted with my weight loss, and couldn’t praise Mounjaro enough. She says I can return to it following radiotherapy. I’m glad to have lost almost four stone, and I’m optimistic about a good outcome with surgery.

Yetanotherusername2000 · 31/01/2026 11:12

Has anyone tried the Willpowder range? I bought a “trying” stash tin for £15 and have been really impressed with the MCT keto creamer and the protein bone broth powder. Genuinely feel better. I don’t know much about it tho so would welcome thoughts.
I’m having keto in my morning coffee and protein milkshake in the afternoon.

Fairfaxandflavor · 31/01/2026 18:08

@Yetanotherusername2000 love will powders, use l Theanine, love davinia.
I'm off officially now, couldn't get an official prescription, but 'on' tirzepatide, it's OK and am maintaining, am 7st 3 and have been since about 6 weeks ago, will keep with this regime suits me brilliantly.

Choirgirl699 · 31/01/2026 20:59

I'm back on MJ after going cold turkey from 7.5mg at the end of August due to the price rise and being away with no internet so missing buying any at the lower prices.

I was 3lb off my target. First couple of months were ok but then I started putting weight on due to stress. After Christmas, I decided that I don't want to go on the weight train again so restarted at 2.5mg. Have lost 4lb in 2 weeks so am very happy with progress. This time, as long as I keep to the low doses, I intend to stay on for maintenance.

I've also lowered my GW so here goes:

SW 13st (Dec 24)
SW 12st6lb (Mar 25, first MJ jab)
Aug 25 Weight 10st3lb
Dec 25 Weight 10st11lb
CW 10st7lb
GW 9st10lb

boy do i know I have taken it! I had forgotten how flipping powerful it is. I am definitely going to shrink quickly.

had sulphur burps and diorhhea too!

feel fine though but am genuinely surprised at how quick and powerful the effects are. I have no desire to eat at all!

It's good that we caught it in early before too much damage done.

Sorry that you're having side effects, hope they clear up.

Definitely loving the feeling of suppression again.

Fingers crossed for us both

Hello everyone. I haven’t checked in for a while because I’ve been stalling.

i reached 15st just before Christmas, put 4lbs on over my all inclusive cruise for Xmas/NY managed to lose 3 of them the week after I got back and then the rest of January I was just loitering at 15st1 or 15st2. Until finally this week had a mini whoosh and lost 5lb so finally seem to be back on track.

I know it sounds weird but I’m wondering if there is a time of year thing which rhe effects feeling stronger. Because I haven’t taken a break or changed my dosage but I also feel that the MJ is hitting me like a truck this last couple of weeks with higher suppression than in ages.

congrats to those who are down to goal and maintaining. Good luck with coming off.
