@Fizzleawayyy1 I’m jealous you still have boobs - I’ve got nothing left! Literally nothing 😂😂

Histoscientist · 12/02/2026 22:42

Fizzleawayyy1 · 12/02/2026 17:07

from day one until today.... and I haven't stepped in the gym once😂

You look amazing wow. What size are you now? I was worried about going lower than a size 10 as didn't want to lose my curves but you look great and you're a lot taller than me too!

letshavetea · 13/02/2026 08:11

@Fizzleawayyy1 - You look simply incredible!

Fizzleawayyy1 · 13/02/2026 14:21

Thanks all.

I'm a size 8 I would say, maybe a 10 in some things.

@TheChosenTwo I dont have as much as I used too!! as you can see😂

Histoscientist · 14/02/2026 20:51

Hello all, hope you are all well?
Well I decided to jab mj 5mg 1 week earlier than expected because I've been quite ill and in pain with my ibs symptoms the last week and half which worsened and my bloating meant I'd gained 2.5lbs on my lowest weight. I had been having almond milk for months but bought lactose free milk at the time these symptoms started so I know its been the culprit but I never had any symptoms on 13.5 months of mj even with yoghurts, cheese, cottage cheese etc Within 2 days of jabbing mj again, I've dropped 2lbs, my belly is a lot flatter any my pain has gone. I'm surprised 5mg worked but I guess being off it for 13 weeks meant it feels stronger. It's currently an ok dose to maintain, averaging 1400-1600 cals, but not to lose so I'll be going up to 7.5mg tomorrow. I've decided I want to drop to 55kg ideally, I'm currently 57.7kg or 9st 1lbs, so if I ever did come off, it's a good buffer.
This week I've had 2 days off and had a session of microneedling done, so my skin is currently peeling, and yesterday evening 6.30-9pm I went to a local galentines gathering where I had a cacao ceremony, inner child meditation, journalling and reiki. It was great!
@Fizzleawayyy1 @TheChosenTwo it's weird as my bra chest band size has dropped down 2 sizes but my cup size has gone up 2 sizes!! I measured using bra and bust group guide on fbook and its a much better fit and support than what I used to wear.

Carridoesntlivehereanymore · 15/02/2026 07:25

Fizzleawayyy1 · 11/02/2026 20:06

Thanks everyone!! I may take a picture tomorrow for comparison.

@Carridoesntlivehereanymore You look great! we never take good pics to start as we are all so miserable in our bodies!
Well done on maintaining! I have no idea how I will handle that.

@Fizzleawayyy1 I've found maintaining on mj quite easy, even reducing the dose slowly. For me, eating is much the same as when you're plateauing but without the frustration of still being the bloody same weight for the fourth week in a row. I weigh almost daily and jump on any upwards increase immediately. It's not like the bad old days when a pound or two upwards resulted in looking at a pack of biscuits, or whatever, and saying sod it and eating most of the pack in misery. I guess that's the mj talking, along with more than a year of hard work. Maintaining without it will be a whole different story, I'm sure

Boob's?? I'm with the non-existent gang!

Tohaveandtohold · 15/02/2026 14:26

Hi everyone, pleased to read all your updates and the lovely pictures shared.
I’m checking in here today as it’s exactly one year since I took my last jab.
Pleased to report that I’ve not piled on the weight I lost and all the fears I had last year are all gone now.
Starting weight: 87.1kg (13st 7) BMI 33 - Oct 5 2024,
Final weight : 65.6kg 10st 4.6lbs BMI 24.9 Feb 15, 2025
Today, one year since my last Jab, current weight 61.2kg, 9st 9 lbs, BMI 23.3
I’ve not done anything differently from what we all know already and I’m glad it’s all working for me. I'm in a happy and better place, more motivated to keep going, weigh weekly and tackle if there’s an upward trend 2 weeks in a row, I tackle it. I don’t think I’ll ever stop weighing weekly cos I don’t want to lose track.

Histoscientist · 15/02/2026 20:36

@Tohaveandtohold what was the hunger like when you came off and since? It was really bad just when I switched to wegovy after 2 months of it when it wore off so I don't know how I'd manage without mj. I was prediabetic though so have the insulin resistance.

Tohaveandtohold · 15/02/2026 21:41

@Histoscientist , the first month I felt more hunger and gained weight but it settled by the end of the second month. The food noise and hunger is still there but you get used to it, also what’s different is that pre MJ, I’ll eat whatever I see but now I’m more conscious and try and make sure I don’t keep a lot of things with high empty calories like crisp in the house etc

Histoscientist · 15/02/2026 22:38

@Tohaveandtohold crisps are my favourite snack..my downfall. Apparantely craving starch like potatoes is a diabetes thing and I believe I was diabetic, having gained a stone after my prediabetic blood test in the following year just before I started mj. Maybe I'll never be fixed amd have to stay on it. You've done great to lose further, well done 👏

Hi everyone- so wonderful to read and see all your fabulous pictures. Incredible how well you are all doing. I’m about 8-9 months post MJ and from my lightest I go up and then back down by about 2-5lbs. I’m determined to stay below 9stone and at the moment I’m in need of losing about 4lbs (I’m 8.11) But it’s ok. I still weigh pretty much every day and pull my self in when I go too far off track. Like now!! Portion control is the main thing I find hard as I eat great, healthy food but have a tendency to overdo it! I’m full often and find myself finishing the plate which while on MJ I wouldn’t have done. So, that’s something I need to focus on to help myself. Didn’t find berberine helped me much but if anyone has any other useful advice or tips I’m all ears.

You have done brilliantly maintaining on your own, well done 👏 I switched to wegovy for 3 months but my ibs symptoms returned along with carb cravings, bloating, water retention and irritability. I'd gained 3lbs so back to mj for me and symptoms all gone. I'll be a long term/lifer due to my genetics and previous prediabetes, high BP and high cholesterol. Its a shame but it is what it is.

Thank you - I definitely need to
watch myself right now so that I don’t inch any closer to the danger zone which for me is going up to 9lbs!! Hopefully you’ll be able to maintain on a low MJ dose 🩷 I sometimes think, if I had a 2.5 mg in the fridge I’d use it for a boost but I would t get now so not much else I can do but keep trying and be watchful!!!

Histoscientist · 22/02/2026 11:12

Hi all, very excited to share that I've lost 0.6lbs this week and gone into a new stone bracket, this morning woke up and I'm 8st 13.9lbs or 57.1kg! I haven't even been strict with my diet this week eating 1200-1450 cals a day, even had a macds cheeseburger and mozzarella dippers yesterday for lunch but I worked an extra half day yesterday so I have been burning more cals probs.
Since 1.5 week switch back to mj after 3 months on wegovy, I've dropped 3.5lbs, most of it was water gain from inflammation.
SW 13st 1lbs 83kg bmi 32.8
CW 8st 13.9lbs 57.1kg bmi 22.6
I'm now aiming to lose another 4-6lbs at least due to my ethnicity, genetics and higher risk of diabetes and heart disease, I'd feel much better if I get to bmi 21.

EVK · 22/02/2026 21:15

Wow - that’s amazing 🙌🎉 congratulations- I’m really trying to pull myself back so I’ll keep you posted!!

Carridoesntlivehereanymore · 22/02/2026 21:32

@Histoscientist brilliant, well done!! Going down into the next stone bracket is so satisfying!

Fizzleawayyy1 · 25/02/2026 16:22

@Histoscientist well done moving into the next stone catagorie. It feels so good doesn't it. Im still 9st 13lbs, didn't shift anything this week but I had afternoon tea pre booked at the plaza for a work event and we had friends around at the weekend for food so was more food heavy then normal.

No plans this weekend so should be able to stay on track and lose a little something, only one weekend away in march too so hopefully its a good month for weight lose now, I'm finding it hard to shift the weight while also having plans, it leads me to maintain and not lose.

ALSO well done for everyone who is maintaining without MJ!!!⭐ I'm dreading the day!

Histoscientist · 25/02/2026 22:53

@Fizzleawayyy1 you have done great already from when you started to now from your photos. You probably don't need to lose anymore. What are you aiming for? What bmi?
@HansHolbein long time no hear..how are you doing?

Not overly bothered about my BMI... Iv never paid attention to that actually ... Id like to be 9st 5-7lbs I think, so I only want to lose another half a stone give or take

I feel like that gives me enough leeway for when I'm away or have a lot of plans then I can go up a few lbs but still be in the 9s, at the moment if I have a bad day I'm back in the 10s way to quickly.

How about you?

Well today I weighed 8st 13.4lbs bmi 22.5. I'd like to go to 8 and a half stone, I'm 5ft 3 so quite petite so think I could carry it well. Plus with my own health issues and family genetics and ethnicity (asian) with heart conditions and diabetes, I'd like to go a bit lower to lower the health risks. Bmi is important for me as normal is below 23 and I know someone who had diabetes at a bmi of 23.5! But I like curves and looking feminine, would hate to be straight up and down so ultimately it depends on how I look in mirror to decide which weight/bmi I'll stop.
I ordered my first 10mg pen post price rise, my current in use is £143, my new one is £255!!
Then driving home from work today I didn't see a speed bump and didn't slow down, so I've cracked the coil spring as the rear wheels dropped down, how frustrating and pricey.

Bluenose1966 · 01/03/2026 18:03

Hi all,
congrats @Histoscientist on getting into a new stone bracket. Woohoo.
i have been a bit meh, eating stuff I shouldn’t, so upped from 2.5 to 3mg and has really reduced my snacky urges.
i am hovering at just under 9st 2lb, and part of me would like to go into the 8 stone bracket but worried I may look haggard.
i have my 60th birthday party in a few months so want to look absolutely fabulous.😂
Love all the fab photo transformations, so here are a few of mine.

My eating plan is currently -
No breakfast (never eaten breakfast)
Lunch - 3 boiled eggs with mayo or omelette with veg, sometimes now or early evening porridge with flaxseed, berries and half water, half whole milk.
Tea - steak, chicken or fish with veg and a bit of rice or potatoes.
Supper - bowl of fresh fruit, mostly berries.
Loads of cups of tea and 2 coffees.
Supplements - creatine, collagen (blended with MCT oil in my morning coffee) magnesium, vitamin D plus Protein powder.

@Bluenose1966 yoy look fabulous, what a transformation, well done!

I'll have to make an effort to take some photos, I haven't since last December!
I'm 8st 12.8lbs today, lost 1.5lbs in a week, not sure how that is happening but it's like the 3 months break on wegovy and eating at maintenance has kick started my fat burning. I try to listen to my body and it was needing a break so I am glad I did. I'm not going drastic on my cals either, sticking to 1100-1300 on work days and 1000 on weekends. My deficit is 1000 and maintenance 1496 but I was on my feet a lot last week at work so that's probably helped.
Been off work since Friday since I've damaged the shocker mount on my car and not allowed to drive it as the wheel might come off, getting repaired tomorrow at £305 ouch!

Fizzleawayyy1 · 02/03/2026 13:36

@Bluenose1966 You look amazing! well done! you will look fab at your 60th party. Any plans on what you will wear yet?

@Histoscientist Hate unexpected repairs! Well done on going downwards on onwards with your weight.

I'm 9st 12lbs today! keep on goingggg....

DeltaAlphaDelta79 · 03/03/2026 11:38

Hi all

Great to hear of the losses you are all getting, you are all doing so well!

Just a little Wegovy update, despite my best intentions I have increased the strength every month since starting and have today ordered 1mg (3rd one up from the bottom) at a price of £79 with an introductory discount from a new supplier.

The suppression is nowhere near as much as it was on MJ, I pretty much lost every week from day one on MJ, but the last two months on Wegovy, I have lost a grand total of 4 pounds, with only consistent loses the last two weeks.

I would love to go back on MJ, but simply cant afford the increased price so am struggling on with Wegovy. I am getting a few side effects of nausea and diarrhoea on occasion but nowhere near as bad as it was on MJ, even tho it was never that bad anyway, once I was used to it.

I am hoping that stepping up to 1mg will help some more. This is my 3rd week on 0.5mg (the second highest strength) and I think today I am just starting to think I am feeling the effect of it like I did with MJ, so fingers crossed moving up does the trick!

Histoscientist · 03/03/2026 21:21

@DeltaAlphaDelta79 wegovy is quite weak, 2.4mg is only equivalent to 5-7.5mg when comparing the results from clinical trials so you may need to go high up depending on what dose of mj you were last on, even with a break. Keep going!
