Oushk has a new fb group

It's called Oushkers. 5 customers have been given Moderator rights.

I've left the group. I really don't like the idea of customers being moderators.

I’m with Oushk but not on the FB groups (joined for discount codes, thought it was insane and immediately left).

So I haven’t seen all this about needing a consultation before ordering from July and I haven’t received any communication from them. I did have a maintenance consultation a few months ago and I’m on the Taper Plan.. so unsure if this will impact me? I’ve just ordered another pen (and will try to order another in the next few weeks) and hopefully they would see me though until coming off Mounjaro completely if I’m unable to get any more.

I used to recommend Oushk but I’ll stop now.

Give Livewell call, especially if you're considering coming off. They've been fantastic with me.

I'm not affiliated with Livewell, I'm just really frustrated with Oushk's Facebook group and the fact that Oushk use affiliates on tiktok. Livewell don't advertise at all, they're just building a reputation by being brilliant.

I also feel a bit sorry for Hira and Bilal. No doubt they had good intentions, found a good opportunity and have worked really hard.

Unfortunately they don't seem to have any good advisors around them for insight on how to deal with social media.

Hopefully they'll take a step back now, steady their plans and interaction so they can go back to focusing on what they do well.

In another group I'm in, the Admin turn off comments after hours and on weekends. Oushk should do the same.

I think the main issue oushk have is that they're not employing enough staff after expanding. They desperately need more staff to:

• Manage the Facebook group

• Improve the website

• More prescribers

I think Hira and her family are trying to do it all at the moment but there's just too many customers.

@Mumconnectthanks. I’ll look into both livewell and pharmulous. I just want a nice easy experience without the drama - hilarious though it is to watch from the sidelines! ( and I mean the members having a good old Facebook fight - not the way they seem to be wrecking their own business!)

So I read this last night and panicked - I'm with Oushk and 27 BMI so not sure about moving to another provider. I ordered a pen last night and have 2.5 weeks until I will need it - is this a waste of time? Should I try to order one elsewhere? Last time I ordered from Oushk it took about 10 days to arrive but seemingly this is going to be a problem??

Livewell told me you can order 2 weeks in advance and I think they'd accept you at your BMI. Just give them a ring when they open. Like I say they were fantastic with me.

I have an unused 10mg pen and 12.5. I panicked during the shortages but they've told me that they're happy to pause my ordering now so I won't order again until July and they keep pens in for their regular customers so I'm not so worried about shortages now.

I had recently joined a private Oushk users group but now don’t seem to be a member of any. Is this the new one so I would need to rejoin? I got the impression when I joined that it was a new group and people were finding it.

Hey everyone, I'm having doubts about Oushk now too, especially after having issues with my recent delivery.

I don't think I cam switch now though, I'm on maintenance and my BMI is 24? I also like being able to choose a delivery date?

Hopefully it will all settle down and they will go back to focusing on WLI and not protein shakes and social media.

If you have proof of your previous prescriptions you are unlikely to have problems switching providers. Just find out what their threshold is for prescribing. Those who prescribe for maintenance will generally have lower thresholds.

@NewLifterim maintaining too with a bmi of 22 but I’m pretty sure switching to another provider is fine - it’s all bout finding one that supports maintenance. Oushk aren’t the only ones doing what they do. And remember when they were charging people on maintenance 20 quid a month to stay on their books?!

I agree though. The focus on drama, ‘brand ambassadors’ etc puts me off. There should NOT be social media ambassadors for prescription medication

@NewLifter Livewell are definitely worth a call, I think they take on BMI 24 and they definitely told me I can order my pens 2 weeks in advance. They keep pens in for regular customers during shortages too.

It’s just the Oushk FB group that’s been having difficulties, the whole pharmacy hasn’t imploded, if you don’t care about the FB group and just want to order pens nothing has changed.
If you sign up for newsletters you’ll get latest info and if you are in maintenance you have your own discount codes, I always order in advance and have an extra in my fridge, so I can’t see any reason to move.
I find all the FB drama highly amusing it’s just like when a good MN thread blows up 🤣🍿

Except that Facebook group is the public face of a pharmacy. It isn’t separate from the pharmacy, it is set up by the pharmacy. And all that head girl kindergarten playground vicious and bitchy MAD stuff becomes representative of a supposed grown-ass pharmacy.

It is documented on a couple of the Reddit MJ boards that members of that facebook group actually sent death threats to someone who posted a fair and reasonable comment about Oushk. It is unbelievable that it is allowed to continue and repeatedly set up again and again by the owner of Oushk.

That is why it is concerning. That is why I and many others would never, ever order from Oushk. Their facebook group is their public face and I want nothing to do with that. It isn’t amusing, it is just disgusting.

@FortyElephants this was brought in several months ago to work with the new guidance/regulations.
It’s on the website, all customers have to book a free weight verification call, it takes 5 mins you just show some ID and stand on scales, existing customers just book a time to suit themselves, they haven’t been hassling people to do it.
I think in July new customers will have to do it before being able to have orders sent, but it isn’t the case at the moment.

@IrisPallida I think their website is actual their public face, the FB page is just an add on, I didn’t even know it existed when I first joined.
Many people aren’t interested in following stuff on FB, they just want meds.
I believe they plan to move to a website based forum rather than FB so don’t think they will remain there much longer.
They obviously aren’t your cup of tea, but there are plenty of other places to go, nobody needs to order from them if they don’t want to.

Well I rang and got my delivery issue resolved, albeit I did need to keep correcting them on the facts around delivery (I used the info provided by oushk themselves in a recent email, I definitely wasn't being difficult).

But it's resolved now, so I think I will stick with them for now.

I’d forgotten how weird MN gets at times, but I wasn’t expecting conspiracy theories 🤷‍♀️

Where has "Mumconnect2"'s post gone? I've never noticed a post disappear completely, just ones replaced by "post deleted" message.

@copi1ot it can happen if MN delete the posts, or delete all the posts by a user. That user has been posting a lot about a specific pharmacy, on many threads with really similar posts promoting the pharmacy. It's possible that someone may have reported the account for spamming/advertising, and it's been removed.
