It's called Oushkers. 5 customers have been given Moderator rights.

I've left the group. I really don't like the idea of customers being moderators.

I agree. The “if it’s clear it’s okay” stance is nonsense. I ordered once from med express in December and my order got delayed by royal mail for 9 days. They sent a replacement but I kept the delayed one for 3.5 months in case they asked for it back as I had terrible bother getting replacement sent. Obviously I didn’t use it as it had been out of the cold chain for so long during delivery. I left it in a drawer at room temperature. They never asked for it back and when I remembered about it I took it out to bin it. It was still crystal clear - after 3.5 months at room temperature! I’d never have used that pen as by the time I threw it out it had been at room temp for near 4 months but this is why I don’t trust what they’re saying - it could have been off or just totally useless yet was still clear 🤷‍♀️

That's really interesting. I wonder if it makes a difference if the red seal has been pierced.

It could do as it was never used. Tbh I expected to take it out and it be all yellow and disgusting but it looked perfectly normal

Don’t delete the thread?! It’s my only outlet to moan about the madness of the FB 😆 My delivery will be here in 15 mins. Fingers crossed it’s in an ok state!

I received an Oushk delivery yesterday and it was not cold in anyway. The pen was room temperature and the bag that was meant to be frozen was warm. I am annoyed as I have three weeks left on my current pen. £170 is a lot of money to throw away. I have contacted them and I am waiting for a response.

When I was with Lloyds the freezer packs arrived still frozen but Oushk have not been able to manage that on this pen or the last, so something is going wrong somewhere.

Yeah I’m ok because I will be using it within 30 days from despatch but I can understand your frustration.

FoxChops · 17/05/2025 18:17

Delete the thread?!! What for? People having a pop at a poster who cannot create one post without mentioning the L word … Total spam from her so those are the only posts that could do with zapping I’m sure

Wingingit11 · 17/05/2025 18:18

agree the position does seem to have changed it it’s pretty rare for people to leave deliveries til 1/2 days before they need the first jab! So much money too and they treat it like it’s just a tub of taramasalata that’s been out the fridge a while 🫣

Angie7654 · 17/05/2025 18:28

Agreed. I could never leave it so close to order when needing pen. I always have an extra one in fridge so would be annoyed if I received next one and it was warm and they told me to use within 30 days. I got slightly concerned when Hira said in live that they were out of 2.5 and 5. So does that mean 2.5, 5, 12.5 and 15 are in short supply? Will 7.5 and 10 be next? That makes it all the more important to order in advance and maybe stay a pen or two ahead.

@Angie7654 can you explain a bit more about this please ? I started a thread earlier about when to order pens actually. If you have an extra one in the fridge how do you know which one to order next eg how do you know if you will need the next dose up by then or not?

copi1ot · 17/05/2025 18:42

On the Oushk website the 2.5s and 5s are available to order. Does that mean they're just not communicating the supply issues?

I’m pretty much in maintenance now so just order 7.5 each month. I order every 5-6 weeks and have been on MJ for a year now. I appreciate its more difficult to know what to order if you’re in early stages and still moving up the doses. If you feel you may be ready to move up soon but not quite sure, you could still order the next dose up but just take less of it until you are ready

I’m not sure if it was just this week affected but Hira said on live that when they got their delivery that they didn’t receive any 2.5 or 5. They had some in stock so most who ordered got their pens from that but a small number have to wait until next week when/if more comes in. Just worried me a bit as there have been issues with 12.5 and 15 already

@Angie7654 ah ok that makes sense if you are in maintenance I didn't think of that. I'm at least 3 stone away from maintenance but just trying to get an idea of cost as I can see myself being on MJ very long term if not for life tbh. Can I ask how much you pay (with oushk I presume? ) for the 7.5 maintenance dose? There's a discount for maintenance I believe?

I'm on the conti plan so get 15% off and free delivery. 7.5 is £140.25 delivered. If paying full price it’s £165 plus delivery but they have ongoing discounts which reduces it a bit

I am pretty certain that the only way that a pharmacy is allowed to sell a medication that must remain chilled is to ensure that it can be delivered to the end user exactly as cold as it would be if that end user came into the pharmacy and personally collected it.

Therefore a pharmacy that wishes to sell online MUST

a/ package the item in packaging that demonstrably keeps the pen cold for x hours
b/ have a contract with a courier that ensures delivery before x hours is up

If the pharmacy has a business brain cell, then they will make sure that they have some insurance or insurance/compensation agreement with the courier in the event that the medication is delivered after x hours and is no longer cold and the customer requests a replacement. Or, they will self insure and take the risk that the number of customers requiring replacements and causing stock 'wastage' will be comfortably covered by their profit margin anyway.

Assuming said brain cell exists, then the ONLY reasons that a pharmacy will make it difficult for a customer to obtain a replacement is that they have an inadequate staff level to chase compensations from their courier OR they have miscalculated their wastage/profit margins. Neither reason is anything to do with the customer and the customer is not responsible for the pharmacy's issues.

OR the pharmacy are greedy cunts and are just trying it on, since judging by this thread a fair proportion of complainants will just suck it up.

However any pharmacy saying if the pen is clear it is fine is DEFINITELY a greedy cunt because this is simply a lie. A pen will go cloudy if it is heated well beyond 30 degrees - I know this for a fact because I left one in my jacket pocket on a radiator a few months ago! It may also go cloudy if frozen for a long period - I don't know about this as I haven't tried it.

I also have a 5th dose left in my first pen from last July before I knew about 5th doses in a bedroom drawer that has been subjected to all sorts of UK temperature fluctuations that I have never got round to throwing away, and that still looks clear. Perhaps Oushk would consider that OK to use?

A clear pen does not mean an OK pen.

You’re worrying me now mine isn’t ok. We shall see!

FlappingMadly · 17/05/2025 22:22

I think that was was said that with the warmer weather packages will not be as cold as they were but if delivered within the time frame and liquid is clear it's OK and to not use if cloudy or yellowed.

I use another pharmacy and just recently although I had chosen delivery date they arranged it a day early and I had no choice but to delay delivery with post office to next day. Package arrived with ice packs completely defrosted. Pen did not feel cold. Not warm either. Anyway, I raised it on their app chat and was sent another immediately and given 20 off next pen.

That sounds good service this is something I worry about with it getting warmer. Which pharmacy is this?

FlappingMadly · 17/05/2025 23:44

@Fatmumslim01 it's voy. I've actually been pleased with their service. They told me they're thinking about maintenance so hope they put something in place.

FlappingMadly · 17/05/2025 23:45

Should have mentioned. If you do try them please do use my code!

Orangesandlemons77 · 18/05/2025 10:59

Good to hear Voy are considering maintenance, I have been using them and found them reliable etc and easy to contact with their apps etc.

Scarlettpixie · 18/05/2025 18:10

I can see why Oushk thought it might be a good idea to have some customer mods as Hira was struggling on her own and 2 groups have been taken down. Presumably due to facebook rule breaking which is a bit of a minefield.

I am in another facebook group (Mounjaro Support UK) and there are so many posts that get auto declined or refused by the mods or that get comments closed straight away. You can't mention suppliers, can't ask about peoples experiences with medical conditions (eg gall bladder) and it has become not worth posting tbh. I do appreciate though that the over cautiousness is down due to facebook rules and threat to the group of being removed (which is what has happened to Oushk twice).

I haven't had any issues with Oushk and have found them excellent. I was accepted by them after being refused by other providers (for having no gallbladder). I had a query that was answered promptly. My orders have always been approved in good time and despatched on the correct date. I like that I can pick a date in advance to take advantage of current codes. I don't use instagram or tik tok so all the talk of affiliates/ambassadors has passed me by. You don't have to be in the facebook group and you can join their email newsletter which is where they advertise codes and where they talk about changes in the regulations etc. I had an email about the weight verification calls with a link to book for example. The call was quick, straightforward and the person lovely. I thought it was good that they are doing them tbh as you see about people lying about their weight or sending old photos. I will stay with them until they give me cause not to. Hopefully they can resolve the delivery and supply issues people have mentioned, although they are not the only pharmacy with supply problems.

NewLifter · 13/06/2025 06:51

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone else is still suspicious about the admin?

I have been suspicious about Lorrie Hall from the start as their posting style is not like oushk staff at all, it's very blatantly not, even though hira claimed all mods are now oushk staff.

I did a bit of digging and I'm absolutely sure that the admin LH is still the member who was previously appointed as admin - SA.

Basically, I've only ever posted anon in the fb group. I posted in defence of someone who was getting piled on by the usual vipers, the op blocked some of them which caused outrage. I pointed out they are entitled to block whoever they like and the reply was something like 'I would block you if you weren't hiding behind anon'

Well.... very quickly I realised that member HAS blocked me.... how did they find out my identity?

This has really pissed me off so I did contact oushk who denied all knowledge, but ultimately its a data breach.

I did some digging and noticed lorrie hall has 'sal' in her fb address and a picture of a dog that looks like the same dog on SAs page.

Yes, I enjoy digging!

It's really off putting. It's just all very unprofessional and dishonest.

Or maybe I'm just a psycho, who knows!

Hilbil212001 · 13/06/2025 06:53

I’m sure in the live Hira did when the new page was made, she did say something that made me think they have people that aren’t their staff modding - I just can’t remember what it was 😆

WeAllHaveWings · 13/06/2025 10:55

I noticed the same before and think you are more than likely right @NewLifter, they are being economical with the truth (perhaps they now have her as an honorary member of their “team” to get around it), they seems very naive (aka unprofessional) and easily led by their tiny band of stalkers “Oushkers” at times.

Itscoldouthere · 13/06/2025 11:45

I did wonder where SA had gone, she did one post on the maintenance FB group but nothing since and she used to be such a regular fan, I thought maybe she was miffed after being demoted from admin?
The FB page is pretty rubbish now as you can’t say anything…
I’m not that bothered really, just trying to keep maintenance on track, which is tricky at times 🥴
