It's called Oushkers. 5 customers have been given Moderator rights.

I've left the group. I really don't like the idea of customers being moderators.

I’m on the Flex plan and happy to pay it. I’ve been really happy with their customer service and deliveries, they’ve always been really clear and innovative about maintenance, their maintenance video call was really good and I will happily pay £15 a month for the security of knowing exactly where I stand. I’ve seen too many providers chop and change stances on maintenance, say one thing and do the other, send inconsistent info to different customers, etc. With Oushk, despite the weird-ass FB group, I feel totally secure that I can access medication if and when I need and get the advice I want.

I’m glad there isn’t a drinking game for the number of times Livewell has been mentioned on here, I’d be hammered Grin had never even heard of them.

Mumconnect · 16/05/2025 16:16

@PennyYin63 he's asking do you actually receive any service on the flex plan? Because they're charging you but not actually providing anything from what he understands.

Pharmulous are fantastic too. Like I say they're run by a GP on mounjaro herself.

I think the big pharmacies like simple online pharmacy and IQ doctor offer maintenance but they just have too many staff and too many targets for their staff. They're going for volume of sales so if someone's complicated it's easier to just say no instead of looking into it.

Pharmulous, oushk, Livewell all take the time to actually look into you as an individual.

(Although with oushk I'd question how she can spend so much time with each individual when she's the only one doing all the maintenance calls).

Itscoldouthere · 16/05/2025 18:05

@Mumconnect you seem to have an axe to grin with Oushk, I don’t know why seeing as you’ve not been a customer?

I have to be on mj long term due to PCOS and insulin resistance. I was going to go with Oushk originally.

I guess it's the use of affiliates that bothers me the most. I also don't understand why they don't employ more staff. They've certainly got enough customers.

And now they're just deleting any post against the brand due to "Facebook rules" but keeping the same topics up if they're positive. I don't think that's right.

I mean look at this picture, you're not meant to advertise mounjaro directly but she's got a crown of pens? It definitely doesn't follow advertising standards. I didn't report it but I know someone who did and ASA said they're investigating.

@Mumconnect well you have chosen not to use them which is fine, but you seem to know an awful lot about them and are very critical of the choices they are making for their business whilst at the same time constantly pushing another company, I think it’s just a bit weird.

WeAllHaveWings · 16/05/2025 18:26

Oushk are doing a facebook Live tonight to explain all the issues this week and what is happening going forward....

Mumconnect · 16/05/2025 18:38

@Itscoldouthere fair enough. All I can say is that I know I need mj long term and have ordered from a few pharmacies now. A month ago I was sure I'd stay with simple online pharmacy but livewell really impressed me when I wasn't expecting much.

Just ask yourself would you have done the same as me but recommending oushk 6 months ago? Eg in a thread about medexpress losing parcels?

Like I say I write code for a living in the public sector. I would never post online on behalf of a pharmacy, I'd be writing code for them instead. Certainly pays a lot more.

I'm just really frustrated at oushk messing people around and I'm trying to say there's other options. I'll advocate for pharmulous too, they also sound amazing.

copi1ot · 16/05/2025 18:51

Can you choose your delivery date with Livewell?

Mumconnect · 16/05/2025 19:03

@copi1ot They told me when you order you can set a date within the next 2 weeks. They do a WhatsApp videocall when you order to go through your answers and you just tell them then.

Honestly the lady that did my videocall was so lovely and it was so refreshing compared to simple just trying to get you through as quickly as possible.

Itscoldouthere · 16/05/2025 19:03

@Mumconnect you do whatever works for you, we are all only here as we use MJ.
Yes I have recommended Oushk, to one person in real life and once on another thread on MN because the OP asked about them.
You are on several posts pushing Livewell.
However, I also don’t know how you even know what’s being posted on the new Oushk FB group as you need to provide an order number to be accepted, so how do you know these things unless you are just going on what others have said?
I just feel you are rather overly invested in bad mouthing Oushk and pushing Livewell, most people aren’t that bothered, they just want a reliable service provider, unless they have another reason ?
Anyway I’m not trying to pick a fight with you, or asking this as I’m a crazy Oushk lover, I just feel your posts aren’t normal MN posts and you seem more invested than most.

Mumconnect · 16/05/2025 19:17

@Itscoldouthere I guess I'm just overly invested in maintenance due to my very depressing graph from the last 15 years.

Think it's anxiety over gaining weight again tbh so I've been researching a lot and putting a lot of thought into it all. I never want to gain weight again and I've felt so helpless.

They were fantastic when I wasn't expecting much and I want them to do well because we need as many options as possible for maintenance.

@Mumconnecthonestly I’d perhaps stop recommending livewell now 🤣 You DO sound like a weird hybrid of bot / influencer with an attempt at trying to deflect by throwing in pharmulous too

if you’ve never been an Oushk customer then this probably isn’t the thread for you anyway

Fair enough, I do hope Oushk get their act together soon because it is all a shambles and like I say we need options for maintenance.

NippyNinjaCrab · 16/05/2025 20:06

@MNHQ please can you investigate the bot pushing pharmacies repeatedly on numerous threads please?

Mumconnect · 16/05/2025 20:08

NippyNinjaCrab · 16/05/2025 20:06

@NippyNinjaCrab I'm not a bot.

If you guys are happy with Oushk that's fine. I'm happy to bow out, but you can't call someone a bot because they disagree with you. I'm not getting paid by any pharmacy and I'm not a bot. I'm not that good at coding 😂

NippyNinjaCrab · 16/05/2025 20:17

You repeat like a bot 😂
We get it, Oushk isn't for you and thank you for your recommendations.

FoxChops · 16/05/2025 21:01

It’s not that we are all ecstatic with Oushk. But if I saw a thread entitled ‘ Medexpress have a new fb group’ I wouldn’t comment on it because I’m not a Medexpress customer. I may click on it in curiosity but I wouldn’t comment.

and if by chance I did feel so moved to comment, I probably wouldn’t keep commenting ad nauseum. You know that’s what you’re doing and it’s really really noticeable and odd

I did - they’re going to have a new part of the website that will be like a chat board by the sounds of things. In 6-8 weeks.

doodleschnoodle · 16/05/2025 21:12

Oh that’s interesting. I saw a post from Hira in the maintenance group saying they are going to be automating some of the maintenance stuff soon too.

Yeah she said that if you are an established customer and they can see your history etc you won’t necessarily need a maintenance call.

doodleschnoodle · 16/05/2025 21:14

That will be handy for DH, he hasn’t bothered to book anything and is rapidly approaching maintenance!

Itscoldouthere · 16/05/2025 21:32

I watched the live and I thought she was quite honest about a lot of stuff, sounds like stock is a bit of an issue and hard for them to know what is going to turn up, which must be really tricky.
I was glad someone asked about the influencers/affiliates as I didn’t know they had them until something came up on FB last week and mumconnect going on about them on this thread. I thought she explained reasonably well, but, big but, can’t help think they get more than a few freebies.
i get that it’s a good way for them to see where customers are coming from, but not sure they really check all the content these people are making.
Personally I don’t go on TicTock etc so never see this stuff, but I’m not keen on it.
Think moving the chat onto their own website will be a good thing, hopefully it will be broken into topics a bit like here, so we don’t have to see the horrible food images and stuff like that 🤣

My first thought when they said that was they have no idea how big a task that is, they already have a glitchy webpage without diving into chat rooms. Mumsnet has been at it for 20+ years and still can’t get theirs to work for many users 🤣
