It's called Oushkers. 5 customers have been given Moderator rights.

I've left the group. I really don't like the idea of customers being moderators.

Yes there's a group called Oushk Maintenance which is open to anyone at the moment.

Thank you, just found it and requested to join.

@KrankyKumquat I deleted my Reddit account because what's the point. You're arguing with me on two sites now and I'm just fed up of it. I've ordered pens with Pharmacy2u, IQ Dr, simple, and my last pen was with Livewell. I think you're just seeing what you want to see tbh. I had a good experience with them, I've tried to tell people, and people are accusing me of all sorts.

If I sound like I know what I'm talking about, it's because I've worked for the NHS for 20 years if you must know, and now I write code because I couldn't do nightshifts and look after a baby. I don't really want my colleagues to know I'm on here and reddit so I've avoided saying my job until now. During lockdown I was doing night shifts for the NHS while pregnant. It's insulting that you keep accusing me of working for a private company when I keep saying I don't.

It does seem like you've got a personal vendetta against me and it's tiring. Just because I have a different opinion it doesn't make me wrong.

This is all my pen boxes since February. I did start in February. I don't know what else you want me to say to prove myself to you. I tried to moderate the mjuk sub because it had no moderators.

Just leave me alone now please. I'm not on Reddit any more. You've got your way. I don't want to post here any more but I'd appreciate if you left me alone.

I'm sorry you've had to write this post to prove that you are on mounjaro and mention your job etc to defend yourself. I've read the posts on here and I don't know what's going on but its like mean girls behaviour, openly discussing you and calling you a bot, wtf is going on guys, absolutely no need for the negative, derogatory comments that have been posted. Adults behaving like kids in a school playground! Just please stop.

I hate seeing this behaviour on social media. Social media moderators need to crack on with their jobs and remove the mean comments.
This thread was originally about oushk having a new Facebook group and it's been completely derailed.

Mysticmaiden · 17/05/2025 12:54

@MNHQ please remove the negative, attacking comments, social media can be very damaging and can have serious consequences on mental health etc.

KrankyKumquat · 17/05/2025 13:02

@Mumconnect
I haven't argued with you on Reddit. Several people advised you to moderate your posting about Livewell on Reddit, you have chosen not to and indeed, decided to expand your activities to MN where you've done exactly the same again. You shouldn't be surprised that people are again suspicious about your motives therefore.
Of course I don't know, for sure, what your circumstances are but on this occasion, if it walks like a duck...

Agreed. And considering Oushk have resolved this issue I'm going to ask for the thread to be deleted. It's had its day.

You are extremely strong on the recommendations for Livewell based off one transaction with them @Mumconnect , I would tone it down a bit, because if they are actually a good provider you are achieving the opposite of what you are trying to do by putting people off them which will negatively impact their growing business.

Had disappointing response from mn saying report the posts and they'll take a look. Very unhelpful!
Feel free anyone who wishes to report posts and then maybe mn will delete the thread.

Why report. Opinions were shared. That's all.

copi1ot · 17/05/2025 14:20

I think that the thread is very helpful in finding out what is going on at Oushk and I'd find it a shame if it went.

I had started to find mumconnect's posting about Livewell repetitive, but the personal comments about her are just unkind and unnecessary.

Hilbil212001 · 17/05/2025 14:55

Don’t delete the thread?! It’s my only outlet to moan about the madness of the FB 😆 My delivery will be here in 15 mins. Fingers crossed it’s in an ok state!

Hilbil212001 · 17/05/2025 15:08

It’s here - it’s not cold but it’s clear. Can I put it in fridge now? Or is it aswell staying out. Will be used within 30 days.

WeAllHaveWings · 17/05/2025 15:09

If mumsnet deleted every thread as requested as it had a couple of posts that were perceived by someone as "mean" it would save them a fortune in cloud/server storage space!!!! 🤣

I always keep mine in the fridge even when I've started using it. No harm in doing so, perhaps some benefits. But you can also keep out if you prefer as long as it stays below 30 degrees.

Itscoldouthere · 17/05/2025 15:12

@Hilbil212001 I keep (hide) mine in the fridge but if you are using straight away it you don’t have to, whatever works best for you.
Glad it turned up 👍

Hilbil212001 · 17/05/2025 15:24

I have always kept mine in the fridge too but that’s when it’s arrived the day after being sent and was still cold. Didn’t know if I could put it in now it’s warmed up a bit lol. Thank you.

Hilbil212001 · 17/05/2025 15:31

I cant post on the page querying it anymore, and they’re closed even after telling me twice they would be open. So thanks for replying here.

Itscoldouthere · 17/05/2025 16:18

@Hilbil212001 I think they close at 1pm on Saturday and are closed on Sunday.
The general reply from Hira is if it’s clear then it’s fine, she did talk about delivery temperatures on the live last night if you can be bothered to watch it, (if it’s still up on the FB page) and the guidelines from manufacturer say you don’t need to store in fridge once in use so I don’t think you need to worry about it, just keep it wherever works best for you.

That’s the best of it - I checked when I spoke to them yesterday and the operative I spoke to said 9-5. Then I WhatsApped to double check and they 9-5.30 😆 another nail in the coffin of nonsense.

Itscoldouthere · 17/05/2025 16:26

@Hilbil212001 ah well at least they are being consistently bad in giving the wrong information 🤣

I don't like that reply, it is not just Oushk that says it, and I suspect it is business driven.

The Eli Lilly site still clearly says pens should be transported in fridge temperatures 2-8 degrees. This time last year pharmacies were replacing pens delayed in transport, they now seem to have decided there are too many losses so have switched to "if it's clear then it's fine" which is nonsense. It might be "fine" as in it isn't going to kill you, but has it's effectivity decreased when delayed/no longer chilled in transport?

There is nothing you can challenge them on as Eli Lilly will just reply with standard blurb that is on their website and to speak to your Dr/provider if unsure.

Itscoldouthere · 17/05/2025 17:04

@WeAllHaveWings yes it’s all a bit vague really, but I suppose we have no idea how it’s transported from manufacturer to pharmacy or if the pharmacy really keeps everything stored correctly.
Hira said on her live she didn’t advise keeping a stockpile (or something along those lines) so if you are using it straight away you won’t have any issues re storage, but then on the other hand there’s been stock issues, so if you don’t keep a back up you might not be able to order 🤷‍♀️
I wonder how all the diabetics who use the drug for years deal with storage, I suppose they get it from a local pharmacy so it’s maybe is not an issue?
I think the whole cold delivery thing is generally very hit and miss and not really the most reliable situation, I also think some things to do with this drug are just being tweaked to suit the market and lots of people are making a lot of money.
Not ideal, but currently I’m feeling like the results are worth it, I just hope I continue to feel this way.

WeAllHaveWings · 17/05/2025 17:21

@Itscoldouthere I read it is transported from Eli Lilly in medical containers that are refrigerated to the wholesalers who deal with lots of different medications that need refrigeration such as insulin. Not sure how to gets from there to smaller pharmacies

Hira said on her live she didn’t advise keeping a stockpile

I have been on the same dose for 9 months (3.75mg from 5mg pen - so dose is stable and if I did decide to increase it would only be to 5mg) so I have mini stock pile of one pen.

I time my next delivery for a couple of days before I need to use the next pen. If the pen arrives warm/is delayed I start that one immediately and keep the one in the fridge which expires next year. If it arrives cold it will then become the spare.

hilbil21 · 17/05/2025 17:32

I’ve gone up each month from 2.5 and this latest one is a 10. I’ve had very few side effects and if this one is going to be a shock to the system maybe a decrease in effectivity might be a good thing 😂

Whatever will be will be with this pen, will use it till it’s finished or until I’ve lost 8lbs whatever comes first. Thankfully I will have no more dealings with Oushk as I’m not titrating down nor am I going on to maintenance. I certainly won’t be recommending them anymore though.

Thanks again all.

I agree. The “if it’s clear it’s okay” stance is nonsense. I ordered once from med express in December and my order got delayed by royal mail for 9 days. They sent a replacement but I kept the delayed one for 3.5 months in case they asked for it back as I had terrible bother getting replacement sent. Obviously I didn’t use it as it had been out of the cold chain for so long during delivery. I left it in a drawer at room temperature. They never asked for it back and when I remembered about it I took it out to bin it. It was still crystal clear - after 3.5 months at room temperature! I’d never have used that pen as by the time I threw it out it had been at room temp for near 4 months but this is why I don’t trust what they’re saying - it could have been off or just totally useless yet was still clear 🤷‍♀️
