Hi Everyone 👋

Maintenance wk 8 3.75mg - not jabbed for 11 days

E: 5k run

B: 3 egg omelette with mushrooms and mozzarella - only ate about 2/3rds

E: cycled to work - 30 mins

S: Americano with coconut milk, small scoop Greek yoghurt with raspberries

L: pepper, carrot and tofu soup, 2 small slices olive sourdough with tuna mayo

E: Cycled home

D: Fast800 Goan prawn curry, white rice and 2 small bits of naan

S: small bowl sweet and salt popcorn + tsp dark chocolate chips

Yesterday - Wk 73, day 5, 5mg (maintenance wk 23)
E: spin, Pilates, pump
B: scrambled egg, feta, asparagus, wholegrain rye toast
L: smoked mackerel, tomato, pepper and onion salad, an apple
D: Gorgonzola, crackers, beetroot
S: apples
Usual supplements, green tea, 2 litres of water, several glasses of white wine

L: chilli, square of dark choc

S: handful of peanuts and another square of choc

D: on my way to meet friends for drinks and a quick lWagamamas - planning wok fried greens, beef and kimchi gyoza and panko prawns with a dipping sauce 🤩
There may also be alcohol involved

L - overnight oat, fat free greek yogurt with chai seeds
D - grilled chicken with vegetables and tiny mash
S - popcorn
E - 10k step

Wagas was packed 🫠
So vegetable spring rolls and a prawn/cashew stir fry in a Thai restaurant instead. And a G+T and pint of beer. All yum and a nice time with lovely pals 😊

B: collagen coffee and protein yogurt

L: open ham and chutney sourdough sandwich, bag of lentil crisps and a handful of olives

D: leftover beef brisket udon noodle stirfry followed by small bowl of homemade blackberry crumble with single cream

B: 30g protein granola, frozen raspberries and fat free greek yogurt, two coffees, one containing collagen

L: open ham and chutney sourdough sandwich, bag of lentil crisps, two clementines

D: homemade chicken curry with spinach and rice

Two cups of tea and probably a chocolate digestive later on Grin

S: handful of nuts and some raspberries

D: hotpot with lamb, lentils, black pudding, carrots, parsnips. Sprouts on the side. Might be tempted by a plum later

D - chicken leg quarter and broccoli
S - protein yogurt

Feeling rubbish today so no exercise 😕

E: cycled to work in the pouring rain - miserable

B: Greek yogurt, chia seeds, hazelnut milk, splash maple syrup, fruit breakfast topper, few shreds of coconut

L: egg friend rice with mixed brown, red and black rice, prawns, sugar snap peas and peas

E: cycled home - still raining

D: Baked crumpets with egg, pesto, cherry toms and mozzarella, salad

S: 1 jelly sweet, protein choc ice

Busy day today - back to back appointments in work and not really fancied much

Today was

Trek raspberry and white chocolate bar
Vanilla cupcake (the main reception where I work were giving out free cakes)
Bag of hula hoops, apple (in between appointments)
The gym kitchen chicken tikka and rice ready real

Plenty of water, bottle of dr pepper zero cherry, multivitamin taken
Bed now 😴

Yesterday - wk 73, day 7, 5mg (maintenance wk 23)
B: scrambled egg, feta, asparagus, whole grain rye toast
L: cheddar, sweet chilli thins, fig jam, an apple
D: steak, chips, broccoli, green beans, an apple
S: Lidl Twix dupe, 7 Maltesers I found in DD’s fridge 😂
Usual supplements, green tea, 2 litres of water, electrolytes

Today - wk 74, day 1, 5mg (maint wk 24)
B: 2 sausages, 2 fried eggs, baked beans, toast
D: Thai red chicken curry, spinach, peppers, green beans, rice, an apple
S: Lidl Twix dupe, half a dozen salt and pepper cashews, sweet chilli rice crackers
Usual supplements, green tea, 2 litres of water

Hope this isn’t too derailing but I’m thinking of starting Mounjaro. I need to lose 3 stone, have anyone in here taken it for the same goal and how long did it take for you to lose it and how much did you spend?

@ALittleBitWooo I lost just over 6 stone - it took me about 5 months to lose the first three and about 8 months to lose the next three. Most of it was at 10mg, not sure how much I spent but that’s probably not very useful info anyway as prices have gone up quite a lot since then 👍

L: low fat sausages, scrambled egg and baked beans on thin slice of sourdough, two easy peelers

D: leftover chicken curry and rice

Lots of mugs of tea and squash.

@ALittleBitWooo It took me 6 months to lose 3 stone. BMI 30 to BMI 22.5. I could probably have done it faster. I never went higher than 5mg and ate 3 meals most days. I have no idea how much I spent - probably around £2000 but I have enough pens in the fridge to keep me in maintenance for almost a year.

Today

Maintenance wk 9 - jabbed 3.75mg this am

E: 8.5k run

B: porridge with oats, chia seeds, cocoa powder, pear and hazelnut milk

S: cappucino

L: Starbucks tuna panini and peppermint tea

D: 1/3rrd homemade veggie pizza, big salad of little gem, tomatoes, peppers, drizzle of sweet chilli sauce, squirt pizza express pizza sauce

S: Bottle of beer, 2 squares 75% chocolate, bit of liquorice

Today has been:

Breakfast - frosties and milk

Dinner - 1/2 bowl stilton and broccoli soup, some baguette with lighter lurpak in between work calls

Tea - ordered takeaway but tried something a bit different, Japanese place near me. Sweet and sour chicken and veg with rice. Absolutely huge portions. Left over half of it so that will be tomorrow's tea as well.

Finished off with some candyfloss grapes. Drinks were water, tea, can of cherry coke zero

Exercise was none, just done 2000 steps 😮 weather is horrendous so hid indoors!

L: golden turmeric crispy rice omelette and a rogue hash brown with a tablespoon of baked beans

D: chicken fajitas

Sn: a mini twirl and a cuppa

Lots of squash and a can of pepsi max

L - coffee and banana
D - eat out at Turkish restaurant, chicken and lamb platter with rice as side dish (shared by 4)
E - 10k steps

B: Greek yogurt, black Forrest berries, muesli

L: slice of homemade pizza, small homemade roll with butter (it was that recipe where you make bread from Greek yogurt and flour - it totally worked!)

D: veggie chilli, rice, Greek yog, sprinkle of cheddar

S: Ruffle bar, pink lady apple, few bits of crystallised ginger
