B: decaf black coffee

L: dal with added chicken, sag aloo, square of dark choc and a plum

S: handful of salted peanuts

D: rice and peas with chicken, might have a kiwi or two later

E: strength training, ~40 mins of lower body. Gave myself permission never to do another Bulgarian lunge today, felt good ha. Plus a walk at lunchtime

B: Fast800 beetroot brownie, Greek yogurt, frozen raspberries

E: 10k run

L: 3 slices left over homemade veggie pizza, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, sweet chilli sauce, pizza express dipping sauce, caramel latte sachet

S: 2 Malteasers

D: veggie chilli with rice, Greek yog and mozzarella

S: small bowl sweet and salt popcorn, few choc chips, Lidl protein choc ice bar

E: 30 min bodypump

S: smoothie with 0% Greek yogurt, hazelnut milk, 1/2 banana, frozen mango and pineapple - given up on the protein powder it’s so horrible!

E: cycled to work - 30 mins

B: Fast800 beetroot brownie, Greek yog, frozen pineapple

L: left over veggie chilli with mozzarella

E: cycled home - 30 mins

D: baked fajita rice and broccoli

S: mini Hagen daaz pot

Feel a bit embarrassed- I feel like I eat twice as much as anyone else on here!!

Week 6, day 2, 5mg

B: protein granola, fat free greek yogurt and frozen fruit, one coffee, forgot the collagen

L: homemade minestrone soup, lentil crisps and a protein yogurt, can of pepsi max and half an apple

D: breaded chicken fillet and salad wrap, two leftover roast potatoes

Sn: 250ml protein chocolate milk and a mug of decaf tea

Lunch : quinoa salad with loads of random fridge bits chucked in, avo, feta, olives type stuff with some leftover chicken on the side
Dinner: mushroom pasta

@Incognitoburrito88 don’t feel embarrassed - you’re burning a lot of calories with body pump and an hour of cycling in a day, you do need more food!
I’ve had a fairly sedentary rest day today and as such had a decent sized lunch, a walk after work and then a small serving of pasta.
On days where I exercise more I eat more to account for it - I’m also more hungry.

lunch: baked potato, tuna & mayonnaise
dinner: salmon, ratatouille
snacks : 2 glasses red wine, 3 squares chocolate

Seems my tummy upset has resolved itself 💪

Today has been-

Dry baguette
Chive crackers and hummus, grapes
Pepsi in pub after a walk
Homemade pasta bake with chicken and veg
An apple
Some minter wonderland Ben and jerrys

Exercise wise just went for a walk this afternoon, hit 8000 steps 🚶‍♀️

Week 32, 43 pound down, 10mg

B...greek yogurt with cherry compote, chia seeds

S...latte

L....mix of homous, couscous, butternut squash, cucumber and rocket. Only had a few bites just didn't want it.

D... chicken pasta pesto, quite a small bowlful.

@gimmemounjaro lol re the Bulgarian squats! I’m the complete opposite and vow to do MORE of the thing that I hate. Weird brain I know! 😂

Week 72, day 5, 5mg (maintenance wk 22!)
E: yoga, Pilates, body pump , dog walk
B: scrambled egg, feta, asparagus, smoked salmon
L: smoked mackerel, an obscene amount of cowboy caviar, an apple
D: 2 slices whole grain rye toast and cream cheese, an apple
S: an apple, a pear, a couple of slices of cheese
Usual supplements, green tea, 2 litres of water

Today was -

Bowl of cornflakes with milk
Half a bowl of leftover pasta bake, grapes, a mini mint malteser reindeer thing
2x small fajitas
Minter wonderland ice cream (about 3 spoonfulls)
2x litres water, 1 mug of tea, 1 can cherry coke zero

Exercise was only done 6000 steps but did go for an hour long swim. Been raining all day where I am and got dark at half 4 so didn't fancy idea of an evening walk!

Can I ask - for those of us who use collagen, do you have any recommendations please? Im nearly 4 stone down but worried about loose skin. Im 30 so not as yoing as I once was and while some looseness is inevitable I also know collagen to help. Ive had a look on amazon but no clue what's good or not and google isn't helpful. My next step would be going to boots and asking them 🤣

Maintenance wk 7 day 5 - 3.75mg

E: 8k run

B: porridge with chia seeds, cocoa powder, most of a pear and some crystallised ginger and hazelnut milk - couldn’t finish

L: 2 small slices of rosemary focaccia, boiled egg, hummus, broccoli, sugar snap peas

S: boiled egg

D: mushroom pie, few baby potatoes, mushrooms, cabbage

S: small bowl sweet and salt popcorn with a sprinkle of dark chocolate chips, 1 Maltese, 2 dates

Off to bed before I eat any more. Had an excision biopsy of a mole in a rather intimate area today so I suspect no cycling or running for a couple of days!

@Slummyslimmer95 I don’t know that there’s actually any evidence that collagen does help but I’m grasping every chance (I’m 58) so use Nutrition Geeks glow up bovine collagen and Wild Nutrition collagen 500 plus marine. Ancient and Brave are also good. I’m currently eyeing up FreeSoul CreaGlow too as it has a great range of extras but not sure about the full ingredients list.

@Incognitoburrito88 ouch! Hope it isn’t too painful today.

Yesterday - wk 72, day 6, 5mg (maintenance wk 22)
E: spin, Pilates, pump, dog walk
B: scrambled egg, feta, asparagus, smoked salmon
S: picked at a couple of chicken wings, apple, 2 pears
Usual supplements, green tea, 2 g&ts, wine

Crap day and today is unlikely to be much better. It’s the first anniversary of losing my mum so my head is all over the place.

@Slummyslimmer95 I use this marine collagen, no idea if it’s helping but at least it doesn’t taste of anything! I have it in my morning coffee.
