Im in wolverhampton now but from the valleys originally 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 still got the accent!!

Quite right too and glad to hear it 😁

cheekysausage123 · 05/11/2025 13:33

Also thinking of you @IReallyNeedThisToWorkbe kind to yourself

Using Nutrition Geeks collagen here too, no idea if it’s doing what it should be but figured it might help?

Feeling proud as just been out for lunch with OH & toddler, had minestrone and an english muffin, there was some delicious sounding brioche french toast on the menu so I’m currently polishing my halo.

So not exactly the most nutritious. Apart from the grapes!

gimmemounjaro · 06/11/2025 10:10

Upping the protein might really help @Slummyslimmer95 👍

It’s very very hard when eating mostly carbs, much easier with more protein I think

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 06/11/2025 13:57

@Slummyslimmer95 actual meals might help you stop picking at upf foods.

Aim for most of your meals to be protein and veg which should help you feel more full and give you the nutrition your body needs.

Lots of squash, another cup of tea and a can of pepsi max.

Slummyslimmer95 · 06/11/2025 22:13

I tried a bit more today 😊 when I first started I was all over protein. Over time its slipped though, and its so easy to just pick / snack 🙈

Anyway, today was -

Trek bar
Chicken baguette, mayo and salad. Bag of hula hoops
Roast chicken, roast potatoes, roast carrots (chicken was on offer from sainsburys in a Mediterranean type sauce)
Grapes, and a cornetto
Two litres of water. Exercise wise done 10,000 steps. Wanted to go swimming but in first world problem form, my new waterproof headphones hadn't arrived

The aim for tomorrow is no sweet stuff! Although I am proud of lunch choices. Finished meeting, had 45minute wait for train, fancied kfc but can't really afford it and also not the most nutritious. So baguette was a better option I think 🤔

Haha! I didn’t even like them really but could not for the life of me stop eating the little bastards 🤦‍♀️

I’ve felt so rough since - I wish I could say lesson learned but it probably hasn’t been, unfortunately 🥴

I need to Get A Grip tomorrow, feel like bad habits are creeping in

You’ve got this! Pringles are my downfall - I honestly think I maybe can’t ever eat them again because when I start I can’t stop. Listening to some of the Zoe podcasts where they talk about how they are manufactured has put me off them a bit.

jaelato1 · 07/11/2025 22:17

Week 7, day 1, 2.5mg
B - coffee with collagen protein
L- Protein yogurt, blueberries and raspberries
D - salmon and brocoli
E - only managed 4k steps..busy day

cheekysausage123 · 07/11/2025 22:22

Definitely not that bad @Incognitoburrito88! And I’m sure Pringles have MSG or similar on to make them more alluring @gimmemounjaro

Week 6, day 6, 5mg - 1st 2lb down

B: plain toasted bagel with peanut butter and banana on top, one mug of tea, one mug of coffee with collagen in

Sn: two chocolate digestives and a mug of tea.

Evidently I’m much better when sticking to my usual high protein breakfast, otherwise it ends up like an absolute carb and calorie storm apparently…! Onwards to tomorrow.
