@LindtCurves TBH, I would worry that your dose is too high. Losing all interest in any food and not eating is really not good for you. What dose are you on?

7.5. Been on it for 5 months now so technically I should be on a higher dose by now. I’ve not gone up as intended as the suppression was so intense at times.

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 12/04/2025 23:31

Nothing, absolutely nothing. Well, 4 espressos and loads of water.

Does anyone else get these days when they get to about 6pm and realise they've forgotten to eat and go 'oh I'll just eat tomorrow'?

I do have days of 2 meals a day, but 3 is a struggle these days. One meal a day is not unusual, just forget/ have no hunger and then it's suddenly mid-afternoon.

I had a lot of suppression too at the start and felt fine (I thought) but also felt really fatigued and weak. I tried a personal trainer and could barely stay awake in the session. I also found I didn't want food but when I tried it - as long as it was very very simple and clean - it was ok.
What's worked for me are really delicious smoothies at start of day - protein powder (two scoops if I think I can't each much), almond milk (very easy to digest), a banana (bland) and frozen berries. Sometimes I have thisr twice a day if I think I won't be able to eat lunch and i they're very easy to drink and definitely make you feel stronger without filling you up. I then teat something in evening - the simpler the better (I was a vegetarian for forty years but now it's white meat chicken and avocado!) or chicken soup (homemade). If you skip below 1200 or so you may end up damaging yourself. .
I've felt so much better since doing this and would recommend it as you risk really exhausting yourself otherwise. It's easy to remember as it's what you do when you get up. Also having about 500ml of blended smoothie before doing any exercise has made a massive difference to my performance (ie I can stay awake). I also found that Greek yogurts with granola and fruit was easy to digest but the almond shake is definitely the simplest.
