Hello all. Been back from my holiday for a few days now, but brought bronchitis and conjunctivitis back with me. Urgh. I think dropping DS off at uni is always so hard and and takes it out of me emotionally.
Anyway, lost 1.6 lbs on holiday, despite relaxing my diet and enjoying the odd scoop of salted caramel ice cream in Cornwall, or some fish and chips. We did tons of walking on beaches and cliff tops. Have lost a little more since coming back and this morning I weighed in at 154.4, which is 70kgs exactly. Soooo close to being at my lowest weight since teenage years, which is crazy.
For those comparing journeys, I started in early January, and am diabetic. I have generally lost each week except for a few, but have slowed down since July. My overall average is now 1.2lbs/week, but it all adds up and I have lost 48lbs. The amazing thing is that I have not given up, and continue to eat healthy and keep snacks to a minimum.
And my blood sugar numbers are amazing.
