Thought id start a thread for anyone starting in July given we are almost there. I've just ordered tonight with Voy, hoping I get approved and will be able to start next week.

I'm a little apprehensive as some of my eating habits are emotionally driven not hunger! So I'm going to need to find some will power too. That's why I've gone with a company that provides support as well as just medication.

Anyone fancy joining along?

My starting weight is 18st 1lb and I'm 5ft 5 so I've ALOT to loose.

Please can I ask, the bonus dose, do you just double up? I'm.about to do my 4th 2.5mg. I've ordered 5mg for next week.

I don't want to waste any, but I've only just started.

What would be your advice?

I have just ordered with Voy. Straight forward but had to upload ID and a picture! They asked for my GP address, as well.
Waiting to get approved and the delivery should be late next week. I used a code from here (thank you), paid £139, with free delivery.
Current weigh 16st, should lose 5st to get to mid-healthy range but would be happy with losing less than that.
Excited and scared at the same time...

Question for people who order with Voy - is it a signed for delivery?

@Zarawithtiara no my box said photo only. It's got a refrigerated sticker on the outside though, so your postman/woman may or may not leave it on your doorstep.

Nor mine. Tracking is showing a missed delivery for today, that definitely didn't happen! It says they will automatically retry tomorrow.

Mine still says it's in a hub in England (I don't live in England!) so I've no idea if it will arrive tomorrow - fingers crossed it's on the ferry as we speak 😂

Mine arrived yesterday lunchtime, I read all the blurb then injected my first dose. Wasn't very hungry at dinner time, but warmed up my left over stir fry then promptly threw it on the dining room floor , so didn't have any dinner. Look forward to seeing how today goes...

I started yesterday too, happily polished off dinner and feel fine so far today.

Starting: 12s 13lb 5 foot 2... Size 16
Goal: weight is 9.5 stone (I think!) or size 10, whichever arrives first.

Very much hoping losing weight alleviates some PCOS and peri symptoms

I am going to try and swim twice a week and do a long walk twice a week, on top of usual gardening/allotment. Sadly work is very non energetic!

@NewLifter and @MounjaroMunchie mine was dispatched on a Friday and didn't get delivered until the Monday, when it arrived the ice packs where warm. I messaged Voy and they dispatched a new one straight away which came the next day, so worth considering if it's not cold when it gets here.
I then read on the box after that it's stable for 30 days unrefrigerated so it's actually fine to use and I took my dose from the warm one that night instead of waiting for the fresh one the next day. Means I've now got a spare pen! Although I can't really find a way of using it that won't interfere with me going up a dose etc

Thank you! The tracking says it is at least now in the correct country but still nowhere near me, so may well be Monday before it comes, as my post always comes before 9! Will contact Zava on Monday if the contents are warm, thank you! Will try to remember to order well before the weekend in the future 😂

Took my first dose yesterday at 16:30, feel strangely mellow this morning! Did feel a bit cold last night but apart from that seem OK so far. Not hungry yet, so will see how to week goes.
I will weigh in on thursday as that's the day I first weighed and see how I get on.

I'm 13st 6lb so hopefully looking to get to 11st.

Currently looking at healthy recipes and writing a shopping list, so hopefully all on track.

Might get back into exercise this afternoon, I do a dance/hand weights YouTube workout which I really enjoy, but not done it in a while.

I did a spin class this morning - I felt the same as always.

I have my pen, it showed up 2 days ago but I've not used it yet.
Does the effectiveness wear off towards the end of the 7 days? This will probably determine what day I inject it if so! Xx

Yeah I find effectiveness (in terms of appetite coming back) lowest in last couple of days - I tend to jab on a Sunday then the following Saturday I might have a night out or a slightly bigger meal.

But I think for me it’s quite good to get a bit of an appetite back and try to make healthy ish choices, as preparation for life after the jabs. I’ve not felt like having desserts or anything particularly unhealthy anyway, just had a bit more hunger.

I’m on Voy, I chose them because I didn’t want my GP informed (it’s optional with them) and it all looked straightforward.

I’m 4 months in and I’ve been very happy with their support, jabs turn up exactly when ordered, cold and they’ve responded to any questions quickly.

They aren’t the cheapest but actually with the codes it’s worked out about £160 a month for me so far. If anyone wants to use my code you’ll get £85 off first order (and I’ll get my next one half price.)

I’ve lost 1 and a half stone so far which is reasonably steady but I’ve stayed on 7.5mg dose for the last couple of months as from what I’ve read I think slower progress might be more sustainable and the weight more likely to stay off. We’ll see! I might go up to 10 mg if food noise returns, but this feels right for me and side effects have been minimal.

@cappycap that sounds like my kind of work out. Do you have a link? Exercise is were I'm lacking. I don't have time to go to a gym anymore.

@Jomummy1013 yes I would say it does. I injected on Monday evening. Today is the first time all week I've felt hungry. Strangely I feel more hungry post lunch than I did pre. I might work on moving my day so that it covers the weekend better. Today is my first day at work since taking it so that could be why I'm hungry! I'm still not thinking about food, the noise isn't there, but the hunger is

I’m about to start. Had Mounjaro delivered from Asda. Can’t decide whether to start on Monday or just take it now! I guess no time like the present.
Im 5ft3 (and a half) and just weighed in post a weeks all inclusive holiday at 14.02 stone. My initial goal is to lose 3 stone.

I do the Walk n Tone workouts as I don't like jumping about, it hurts my joints, but the walking, dancing and hand weights are a great workout for me

First day yesterday and I barely thought about food, but today I’m so hungry! I don’t usually eat until 12-1pm but I was hungry from about 9. I’ve heard the appetite suppression is much stronger at higher doses though so I’m not too worried. Feeling ok, a little bit discombobulated.

I did my first injection yesterday around midday. Felt cold last night, and my ribs and neck felt a little bit achey today, but nothing major. I weighed yesterday morning and again this morning - put on 3 pounds (!!) but have had constipation (sorry if TMI) since yesterday (and all day today) so maybe that's why...!

I usually don't eat breakfast, wasn't hungry by lunchtime but was going to have a busy afternoon so ate something - but it was just a few bites of salad. Was offered churros this afternoon, usually love them, but just didn't fancy them - no hardship to say no thanks. Ate a decent dinner (veggie burger & chips), but I doubt more than 1,000 calories today and not at all hungry or tempted to snack. Evening snacking in front of the tv has become a bad habit, so it's nice to not feel any urge to rummage in the cupboard.
Feeling very positive so far!
