Hi everyone, been lurking for a while. Thanks for this thread, it's been so helpful.
Been floating between obese and overweight on the BMI scale for most of my 30s (I'm 37) ever since I started a desk job which involves sitting all day, too many overpriced coffees and office snacks. Needed to do something about it finally. I tried Orlistat last year which helped me shift best part of a stone but stopped it after last summer and it's all crept back on. So here I am.
I'm on Week 2 of 2.5mg and I've lost 7 lbs so far. I'm delighted. Feeling lighter, less moody, more energy. A few days with cramps after the injection that come and go but nothing unbearable. My appetite is suppressed to the point I have to remind myself to eat, and I'm having protein shakes and healthy meals. I've swapped out potato for quinoa, white rice for brown, and have totally avoided chocolate. My downfall is the booze! I absolutely love a G&T or two in the evenings, or a big glass of wine. So this needs to be my next thing to reduce (stopping is unrealistic if I'm being totally honest right now but it's my aspiration).

Just wondering if anyone knows what the future reordering process is with Med Express... What happens when I move into the Overweight BMI category rather than Obese - will they not prescribe anymore or will they keep doing so? My GW would take me to the middle of the Overweight category.
Well done to everyone shifting the pounds
