If you do the form here and attach a pic of your previous box with your name and date of prescription etc on that should be enough
https://support.medexpress.co.uk/hc/en-gb/requests/new

Exactly what I did and I'm awaiting despatch. The status changed really quickly on Friday once I'd updated the info and sent proof of the 2.5mg dose.

NCfor24 · 02/04/2024 10:45

I've ordered these off Amazon.
Glucorx Carepoint Diabetic Insulin Pen Tips 32G x 4 mm (100 Pcs/Box) https://amzn.eu/d/20qfdUC

Hoping to get the 5th dose out with some hard twisting. Bolt only sent 4 needles too.

I keep refreshing my emails lol

For those buying extra needles - I did the same but found twisting the pen again much easier than I thought so didn't need the needles in the end!

Exitstrategist · 02/04/2024 10:54

Hi
Just curious if anyone knows why constipation is such a common side effect? Is it due to slower digestion due to the drug or is it lower food intake?

These are extra needles to use with the pen, MedExpress is stingy with the needle provision. So we just want more that attach to the pen rather than extracting it.

ObsidianTree · 02/04/2024 10:59

@Soukmyfalafel I used the full body shot pic I took for Asda when signing up with MedExpress. I couldn't be arsed to take a new one. I was less than a stone down when I signed up with MedExpress so thought it would be ok. My pic was accepted. So maybe take a pic now if you want to sign up to med express? Order now maybe if you are the correct BMI needed now?

In all my flustering this morning about moving supplier, getting a discount code, getting more needles as Bolt only sent 4, when to do my 5th dose, I have ordered the needles I posted and they are coming tomorrow so decided I'll do my 4th 2.5 today as planned/due, and realised I didn't bloody wipe the seal or my tummy with an alcohol wipe. So annoyed with myself!!!!

Also wondering about this! I didn't receive any with my pen. I have ordered some sterling wipes from boots - they're a bit big but no idea where to get little ones from!

Soukmyfalafel · 02/04/2024 11:15

These are the ones I got with my Asda order. You get 7 of them.

Soukmyfalafel · 02/04/2024 11:18

I forgot to wipe yesterday too for my jab. I must remember to do that in future. I put the lid straight back on the pen after, but it does need wiping.

ObsidianTree · 02/04/2024 11:27

I ordered some wipes from Amazon as I didn't get any with boots. Now I'm with MedExpress they send wipes too!

I didn't use wipes in my first month as I didn't have any!

Thank you everyone. It's £15 for next day delivery annoyingly for those on the link posted but super helpful to know about them for future purchases and for others so thank you.

I've found these which I can get next day delivery on via prime I think, do you reckon these are up for the job? I think they are but my head is a complete sieve at the moment - when I posted that discount code up thread earlier this morning I thought it was excellent, it's only about £15 Blush

Safefine Diabetic Insulin Pen Tips 6mm 31G (0.25 mm) Painless Thin Wall Technology (100 pcs/Box) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09LLQ6B8F?psc=1&ref=cmmswrrapincttD6SAYTXY611TQ639H7GT&language=enUS

You need to be very careful about the length of the needles. Any more than 4mm and you are in danger of going through the subcutaneous surface into muscle, where the medication is absorbed much quicker. This isn't something you want, so I'd try to stick with the 4mm ones if you can.

Priority1234 · 02/04/2024 11:35

@KeepingUndercover Ah good to know! I've actually just ordered with them, but have a couple of spare ones left over from my Chemist2U order.

montysma1 · 02/04/2024 11:43

ObsidianTree · 02/04/2024 08:32

Ah that's rubbish 😔

Think this one I found works, for Med Express. Order gone through it seems . 15%
CONSULT-BUNNY

ObsidianTree · 02/04/2024 11:50

Thanks @montysma1 :) glad you got a discount

Was thinking maybe they are reducing the coupons due to having plenty of customers 🤣

I got no wipes and haven’t used them. I keep meaning just to buy some at the chemist and forgetting.

I was toying with switching to MedExpress from Asda but need to order now and there are no codes! It’s (hopefully) now or never as my BMI has hit 30. I will probably lazily stay where I am.

I think it's a combination of both

I used STARTNOW today which I think was 15% off, and SPRING-BUNNY was quoted up thread too which is also 15% off

Hey,

Try STARTNOW or SPRING-BUNNY.

Also they do referrals so see if this gets you an extra £5 off too:

Hopefully you can get some discounts!

I think one way the drug works is to slow passage of food through system. People are prioritising protein too, there’s just less waste in your system to get rid of.
I’m taking aloe vero most days and not having issues with 💩
My 5mg pharmacy 4 u has dispatched. I’m now an overweight bmi 29 so will stay with them to avoid any issues.

ObsidianTree · 02/04/2024 13:07

I can't find the post from the person recommending nutracheck, but I'm thinking of signing up for the year. I have the 7 day free trail at the moment. Is it work waiting to see if they further reduce the price for the year? Or is £27.99 the best price I will get?

I did look for coupon codes but none of the ones I tried worked
