I'm here. I love that Mounjaro is spelt differently to the last thread but is still spelt wrong. Let's never spell it right in the thread titles!!!

As it's the start of the thread this photo will be easy for people to find. It's from the MedExpress website and explains what might happen on the different doses.

Not everyone will lose weight on 2.5mg so don't be disheartened if you don't. It's really to get your body used to the drug. You can go up to 5mg, 7.5mg, 10mg, 12.5mg or 15mg if you need it. It might not be an instant miracle at 2.5mg for you but that's ok. Keep at it and you will reach your goals.

Day 13 here- day before my third injection and today is the first day my appetite has come back. Caved in to some chocolate biscuit cake today but really just ate it out of habit- can’t even say I even enjoyed it. Weigh in day tomorrow and so hopeful I’ve lost another kilo

Btw has anyone used the same needle to inject rest of vial? I’m planning to do a double dose next week ie go up to 5 a week early

Thank you for starting new thread. I’m only on Day 2. Feeling good. I’ve been more thirsty and drunk a lot of water. Had 3 small meals, focusing on protein and fruit/veg.

Day two here too! I’m feeling much less of an effect today, but I think the cost is helping to keep me motivated 😂

I’m considering moving injection day forward each week so that I end up injecting Friday nights so the strongest bit hits over the weekend. So do 6 days with each jab. That seems fine as it just says not to do them within three days.

is anyone following anyone good on Instagram for this? It’s obviously mostly American at the moment. I know someone asked this previously but I’m not sure anyone responded.

I'm feeling rather nauseous today and haven't managed to eat much. All I've had today is a sugar free jelly, a small pepper with hummus for lunch and 2 small tacos with a bit of chicken fajitas I cooked. Ended up throwing food in the bin which I hate but I just couldn't eat anymore.

Today was my second injection and I have zero appetite. I had to force myself to have a slice of pizza.

I really hope when I get to 5mg properly I will start getting the zero appetite!

My weight is constantly up and down. But overall it's heading in the right direction.

There were loads of different spellings throughout the last thread including my creative contribution. I loved that no one commented. Maybe we will have collectively learned how it spell it by thread 3.

Tonight, which day 12, is the hungriest I've been since starting. Not as hungry as I usually am but it's been there. I felt sad. I've enjoyed the reprieve and the head space.

How are others feeling?

My 5mg arrives tomorrow and I’m out! I wasn’t expecting them to dispatch it so quickly. DH can work from home in the pm but I can’t remember if the package says “for the resident fatty fatty boom boom” on it.

Can I ask what needles people use to extract the last dose please… and how you know they’re safe/ sterile?

@ChristmasLightsLover I am good thanks. Not losing much but think I need to change what I eat and restrict calories more. I am going to Disneyland today for weekend so will start the better diet from Monday!

@stealtheatingtunnocks I think it says they come in discreet packaging. Although I don't know what's discreet about two ice packs and a bag of wool! So hopefully he won't open it .. but the cold bag might be intriguing! Fingers crossed he's oblivious!

@Namechange25793 the needles from Amazon are individually wrapped. You search for insulin needles. So I assume sterile but I can't say for sure. I suppose I took a risk using one to inject the last dose, but didn't want to waste that last bit!
