Getting married next Easter, elopement style wedding with daughter (28) and her partner as witnesses.
I have been sending pictures of dresses to daughter for her opinion and this came up on my feed. Sent to daughter as I thought it was perfect for me in terms of style, arms covered etc etc.
She hates it!!
For info 57 (age) size 10/12.

The corsages are very current, so might date.
Not keen on the colour, neckline, length or fluted sleeves, but it's OK.

I hadn't noticed the description but DD is Adam ant (🤣 ffs!) that when I sat green, she sees blue. It's the turquoise type shade.
I don't see any blue though...

Its polyester, so any hint of sunshine or warm weather- you'll be dripping in sweat.
Have you tried it on yet?

It looks like something the bride forced all the bridesmaids to wear because it was the ugliest dress in the shop 😬

If you've got the figure for it and the colour suits you, then I think it would look very nice.

Love the actual shape, the boat neck and the sleeve length. All classy and cool - defo hold onto those details. Then go look for something that isn’t the colour of toothpaste and doesn’t have weird rosette things on the sleeves… just my thoughts.. If you love it, then go for it, rock it, and sod everyone else!

Lovely shape and colour, less keen on the arm details. But I wouldn't say it's awful!

I think it’s fab, OP! Yes, the rosettes are a bit out there, but the rest of the dress is so simple that it really works. And it looks bridal, without being a traditional wedding dress. If you love it, go for it. And congrats

This is interesting I see a split forming..
I see mint green too not blue.
The problem is I have seen so much and my brain in bursting, I swear I see wedding dresses flashing before me when I'm trying to get to sleep.
I was thinking Rixo and needle and thread originally as I dint think I'll get what I want in a normal wedding boutique.

I’m not keen on the colour but depending on your skin and hair colour, it could look good. The flowers on the sleeve ruin it completely though imo.

It's blue to me.

And it looks a bit 'Disney Princess' to me - the sort of thing to wear when singing to bluebirds and wafting through meadows. But then I'm wearing M& S jeans right now and I'm in my 60's, so what do I know?

Well, I really like it OP! Especially for a wedding.

It's green for me. I always see green in these half and half shades.

I like the witchy sleeves, the colour and even the rosettes. Not keen on the scuba fabric but I'd bet it's very flattering as no clinginess.

Disclaimer: I'm not exactly a style guru!

I think it looks ok on the model but I reckon it will be horrible on. The arms would flap around, the flowers wouldnt stay like that they would go limp, the material looks like it would not hang well. Its not even hanging well on the model.
