Getting married next Easter, elopement style wedding with daughter (28) and her partner as witnesses.
I have been sending pictures of dresses to daughter for her opinion and this came up on my feed. Sent to daughter as I thought it was perfect for me in terms of style, arms covered etc etc.
She hates it!!
For info 57 (age) size 10/12.

I'm not keen on the off the shoulder neckline and the giant sleeve rosettes, tbh, but it's your taste you need to cater to and your wedding!

Don't like the arm flower things but if you like it, go for it! Love the colour.

I'm in my 50s and not keen on the sleeve rosettes.

Also scuba fabric always seems a bit weird to me.

Against everyone else. I like the dress but not the colour. It just proves the old saying op, you can't please everyone so you have to please yourself.

It's a no from me. I'm mid 50s. It looks uncomfortable to wear and the sleeve detail would drive me mad I think.

I quite like the shape of the dress but I really dislike everything about the sleeves (those rosettes 🥴) and I don’t like that weird stretchy scuba material at all.

If my Dds didn't like it I'd probably take their advice, we are always honest when it comes to clothes.

Fwiw I don't like it the colour mainly but the rosettes are bulky.

But it would deeply weird if everyone liked the same clothes just because they were born within a few years of one another. I had lunch with two friends yesterday -- we're all mid-50s. One of us was wearing wide-legged trousers, a shirt and a wool coat, one of us a Max Mara dress and trench, the other barrel-legged jeans, a floral top and an Ilse Didrikson jacket.

Sorry, OP but I don't like it. I think the slightly witchy-style sleeves make it look like a fancy dress outfit.

But it really is what you think that counts!!
